THE KINGDOM OF GOD COMES TO EARTH
The Kingdom of God is coming down from God out of Heaven! It is being ordered and established in the earth with judgment and justice, and with the authority and power to change everything everywhere! When the Kingdom of God is fully established in the earth, the dominion of Christ will have all the qualities and characteristics of the Lord God omnipotent, Who reigns over all! The Kingdom of God will change everything in and of this old earth, until there will not be one portion of this imperfect old world left anywhere to show that man has ever ruled. Christ must reign until all His enemies are defeated and put under His feet, and the whole worldly order is wondrously changed to show forth the righteousness, the love and the life of Christ.
The enemies of Christ are many and are deeply rooted in the carnal man and in the systems man has created. The entire harlot, conglomerate thing, called “Babylon,” is one of the major enemies of Christ and His Kingdom. Religious Babylon is the leading enemy of Christ and His Kingdom and must be completely eliminated, along with all of Babylon. And it will, by the increasing power of the reign of Christ in the earth. The whole thing, called Babylon, involves much more than what she appears to be on the surface. Babylon is much more than the systems of this world! Her power and influence reaches into the hearts and minds of people, until they are totally bound and enslaved by the might and authority of that harlot thing, which is also called “mystery Babylon.” Literal Babylon was an ancient city 60 miles south of the present city of Baghdad in Iraq, on the banks of the Euphrates River! Is it possible that the recent war in Iraq foretold the destruction of “mystery Babylon?”
Mystery Babylon, as she is called in scripture (Rev. 17:5), is seen drunken with the blood of the saints and martyrs, for she took their very life-blood from them. She was brought to earth by a “beast” which had seven heads and ten horns that came up out of the “bottomless pit.” The “angel” of that “bottomless pit” is called, “Abaddon” in the Hebrew, or “Apollyon” in the Greek, meaning a destroyer, or the devil. If more of the Lord’s precious people knew that the devil sent this Adamic, Babylonish harlot to the earth, they would make haste to be free of that corrupt thing and her evil systems. And they would be happy and gratified to have a part in dethroning Satan, nullifying his power and destroying his kingdom. It is the devil who makes war with the saints, overcomes them and even “kills” them (see Rev. 9:1-2, 11, 11:7 & 17:8). But he is destined to be returned to the “bottomless pit” from whence he came, to be bound and sealed there all during this wonderful age of the Kingdom of God on earth. Nothing shall hinder or prevent the multitudes of the world from receiving Christ as their Savior, for Satan, the arch deceiver of the nations, will be bound all during this age!
God has a plan for that destroying “angel,” which is the devil. He shall send another, more powerful angel to “come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season” (Rev. 20:1-3). And I believe that “angel,” or messenger, is Christ. He is seen coming down from God out of heaven to dwell or “tabernacle” within His elect, giving them power and authority to put the devil back into that “bottomless pit,” from whence he came. They/we have put a seal on him that he should deceive the nations no more until the “thousand years” of the Kingdom age are fulfilled. Then, he shall be released to test and try all those who accepted Christ during this wonderful Day of the reign of Christ on earth. Everything the Lord does must be tested to determine the spiritual quality of the work of the Lord, and that is the devil’s job. Do you understand that Satan’s job now is to test and try us, thereby strengthening us and bringing us to spiritual maturity by those trials? So shall the devil do also to all those multitudes who shall come to Christ during this most glorious Day of the Kingdom of God on earth!
Babylon is a multilayered entity with deep roots that extend into many areas, especially into the hearts and minds of people. The first layer of Babylon includes the religious, political and economic systems of this world. She is a city divided into three parts (Rev. 16:19), yet the three parts are fully integrated and tied together, so that the manifestation of one part may also exhibit aspects of the other two parts. And there are many other parts to each of the three major portions of the harlot, Babylon. The religious realm or segment of Babylon includes all denominations and churches, for they all came out of the Adamic man. While some churches and denominations may have had their beginnings during an outpouring of the Spirit, man took over what the Spirit began, making it an expression of the mind, the will, and the purpose of the Adamic man. All that came forth out of man must be eliminated to make way for the glory, power and righteousness of the reign of Christ in all the earth. Christ will not reign along with man, or with any portion of man’s dominion remaining! The man of the flesh shall have no part in the Kingdom of God, for His Kingdom is not of this world! The Lord began the process of separating His elect from religious Babylon by calling His elect out of all the churches and denominations. Then He must remove the old, dead church order from our hearts and minds, that we might be free to do only and always His pure and perfect will, and to fulfill His anointed and prophetic word of power and authority!
The political-governmental realm of Babylon also came out of man, for it is man’s government, which must rule and reign in the earth until God changes the order and establishes His Kingdom, or His government, over all the other kingdoms and governments of man. And God HAS changed the order, for we are in a new Day! We can see that the political-governmental realm of Babylon is in union with the religious realm of Babylon, for the church system is playing a major role now in electing politicians and putting them in office. Religious leaders and those in the church system presume that by electing politicians of their choice the world will then be restored to proper order and some sense of goodness and correctness will be established in this country and in the world. But Babylon will never be healed by such human efforts. The world will never get any better by electing so-called “good” politicians to public office. It is absolutely impossible for man to correct the problems in this world that man has created! Only God can do that!
Christ, and Christ alone, is the only hope of the world! Only by the reign of Christ can our country and the world get any better. Therefore, the Babylonish systems of this world must be replaced with the glory and the power of the Kingdom of God. Christ must reign, then the entire, three-fold realm of Babylon shall be eliminated from the face of the earth, and also from the hearts of all mankind. To begin the process of the elimination of the religious and political-governmental realm of Babylon, the Lord called His elect to come out of her and to cease participating in those corrupt, harlot systems of man. And then God must remove both the religious and political order, along with its inherent corruption, from our hearts and minds, that we might be free in Christ to do His will and fulfill His word. It is time now for all the elect of the Lord to cease voting for man and also to end all the dead religious performances of the church system. Then we will come into closer union with Christ, to crown Him King and Lord over all that we are! Christ must totally reign within us! Then He can reign over all nations and all mankind!
The economic realm of Babylon is a realm of this world that
corresponds to our present, physical, Adamic state. As long as we are in these
literal, physical bodies, we are subject to money and the things money can buy.
We need food, clothing and housing to sustain these bodies, things that only
money can buy, so this Adamic man of the flesh can continue to exist. And we
will remain in this condition, subject to the economic realm of Babylon, until
we are changed into the image and likeness of Christ, our elder Brother. Some
may have had the mistaken idea that if they closed their bank accounts, cancelled
their credit cards, moved to remote areas to “hide” from the crowds
and the government, and quit paying taxes, they would be free of economic Babylon.
But there is no escaping the power and influence of the economic realm of Babylon!
She is with us until death! Not until we cease living this present life in this
world, and are transformed to live the Life of Christ in glorious fullness,
shall we be free of economic Babylon. When we are transformed and changed into
the image and likeness of Christ, we will be “free at last” from
all three realms of the great harlot Babylon! And when all mankind have received
the Life of Christ in fullness, as we will have at that time, then the whole
triune realm of Babylon will be totally and completely eliminated from the face
of the earth!
The rule and reign of Christ and His brother-sons will change everything everywhere! Then the righteousness of Christ will prevail in all the earth, and so will His love, His life, His grace, His mercy and His salvation. By the Lord’s process of righteous judgment unto correction and true justice, He shall bring forth the new Earth, wherein dwells the pure and holy righteousness of Christ. The prophetic word of the Lord has gone forth, saying “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind” (Is. 65:17). And when we understand this great truth, “the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” The Lord is in the process of thoroughly replacing the old with the new, so that the old, former thing will not be remembered, nor shall it ever come into our minds again. This is true of the new earth, of the new heavens, of this new age of the Kingdom of God on earth, and of anything else that God should create and make new! The church age and everything of it, has been replaced with the new order of the Kingdom of God. And for us, the old dead, former order of the church should not be remembered, nor should it ever come into our minds again.
Then the word of the Lord continues with this wonderful truth: “But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying” (Is. 65:18-19). How wonderful to know that God is now recreating Jerusalem, and is making it into a “city” of joy and rejoicing! He will be able to rejoice over the new Jerusalem, for He has made His people who live there a source of joy. The old city of this world has been and still is a city of chaos, dissension, wars and troubles of every kind. But the Lord has created a new Jerusalem; it is a realm in the Spirit where the saints of the Lord abide, and where there is constant peace, rest, joy and righteousness. The old city of this world continues to exist with its chaos, war and trouble. But the new “city” of the Lord, the new Jerusalem, is a realm in the Spirit that is free of the strivings of man, and shall remain so, by the power of His Spirit, for God created it and has made it new!
How important it is for us to see things IN THE SPIRIT, and not according to the dictates and opinions of the carnal mind! The new spiritual Jerusalem has been given the prophetic promises of the old city, and was then raised to a higher realm in the Spirit, and fulfilled in the Spirit. By the Spirit, the prophetic promises given to the old city of Jerusalem were transferred to a higher spiritual realm in God. Then that whole realm was lifted to a higher spiritual sphere in God, and given a new name, which is “new Jerusalem” (Rev. 3:12). It is the new Jerusalem that Christ was referring to, which is seen coming down from God out of Heaven to the earth. Jesus said, “the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at (old) Jerusalem, worship the Father” (see Jo. 4:21-24, Ga. 4:24-26 & He. 12:22). All the saints who dwell in the new Jerusalem “city” of God have her new name written upon them, along with the name of God and His new name. All this indicates the spiritual maturity of the saints and their ultimate destiny in God. Those of the new Jerusalem realm are not only mature in God, they are also declared to be righteous as He is righteous. They are also joyful, hopeful, faithful, and consecrated to the Lord, to do His will on earth and in the whole universe. They shall fulfill all His holy, prophetic word of promise.
The Lord also declared, “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain” (Is. 66:22). The Lord, our King and Creator of all, has declared that He will create the new heavens and a new earth. And the new heavens and the new earth will be permanent and shall endure forever and ever. God’s word tells us they “shall remain before me, saith the LORD.” That which God creates shall remain before Him, which is to say that the new heavens and the new earth shall stand, to be established before the Lord in a new and enduring relationship with Him. The new heavens and new earth will satisfy God, for it is that which He has created and made new. And just as eternally enduring, everlastingly permanent, infinitely secure and immortally righteous are the Lord and His new Heavens and new Earth, so also are we before our Father! We shall stand before Him, complete, perfect, righteous and secure, for we are being created in His glorious and enduring image and likeness. We are the spiritual seed of Abraham and have been given the Lord’s Name, the Name of His “city,” and His new Name. Nothing shall separate us from the love of God! We shall stand before Him in white, for we shall be just like Christ!
The Name our Father has given us shall endure throughout the eternal future with God! One of our names is Israel (Rev. 21:12)! God has associated all His previous works in the earth, as well as His prophetic purposes for Israel relative to the new earth, to us and for our high calling in Christ. And He has given it all to us, according to our name, Israel (see Is. 45:3-4). This is a special Name expressing prophetic purpose, and making it an eternally enduring Name. There are other names the Lord would give to us, for He has said, “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name” (Rev. 3:12). To be made a pillar in the temple of the Lord and go no more out, is to stand before the Lord in white robes, manifesting His righteousness, in an enduring relationship with Him. Obviously, Christ said the same thing in the book of Revelation as that which Isaiah prophesied in Is. 66:22.
The other names we are given are “the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.” The Name of God is a name that expresses His authority and His character. And that Name is Christ! Christ “is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.” (Col. 1:15). Jesus was the earthly name of the Son of God, while Christ is His spiritual Name. Paul continued by saying of Christ, “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS, and by him all things consist” (Col. 1:16-17).
The man named Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea of a virgin. He lived for thirty three years on this earth. Then He was crucified, buried, raised to new Life, and given a new Name. And that Name is Christ; it is a Name that expresses His new Life! When we are transformed, we shall also receive that new Name! Christ has always existed, for by Him all things were created, whether they are earthly or heavenly things; all was created by Him and also for Him. Jesus is the name of the heavenly man who dwelled on earth; Christ is the Name of Him who was Spirit before time began, and who also has created all things in the beginning. Christ is the Spirit that indwelt Jesus, and Who indwells us, making Jesus the Son of God, just as He is making us to become sons of God. What a vast difference there is between the names Jesus and Christ! And when we understand this difference, by the Spirit, we will call Him by His new Name, which is Christ, the Lord!
Jesus said to the woman at the well, among other things, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (Jo. 4:24). The woman replied, “I know that Messias cometh, WHICH IS CALLED CHRIST: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he” (Jo. 4:25-26, see also Jo. 4:42, 69, 11:27, 20:31 & Acts 2:36). Jesus, the Messiah, is called CHRIST! Why? Because He is no longer Jesus in the flesh! HE IS CHRIST, THE SPIRIT! It is Christ, the Spirit, that we shall see when we are transformed; we shall see Him AS HE IS (1 Jo. 3:2), and He is Spirit! He is the resurrected and glorified Jesus, Who once was in the flesh, but Who is now in the Spirit and has been given a new Name, and that new Name is CHRIST! Just as Jesus was resurrected and transformed, to be given a new Name, so also shall we be transformed and changed into the wonderful image and likeness of Christ. We shall be given a name similar to the Name that Jesus received when He was transformed and resurrected, and that Name is CHRIST! This anointed company is called, “the Body of CHRIST,” not the Body of Jesus! By that same process of redemption that changed Jesus into Christ, we shall also be given the Name of God, and that Name is Christ, the eternal Spirit! When we understand this truth, we will also understand that as the new heavens and the new earth shall endure and remain before the Lord, so also shall we, the seed of Israel and the family of God, along with our new, family Name, endure and remain before the Lord forever and ever. Amen!
Christ also is the Name of God, for Jesus said He and His Father are ONE! His Name is the name that is given to us as overcomers. The Name of Christ establishes us before our Father as pillars in His temple, so that we shall never again go out of His house. Our position with Him shall endure and abide, so that we shall stand before Him forever. We shall also be given the name of the city of God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down from God out of heaven. When we have received that new Jerusalem name, we will be forever united with that spiritual realm, which is coming down from God out of heaven to the earth. We must be intensely spiritual to be given the name of the new Jerusalem city of God. And as a spiritual people, we shall have an identification with Heaven as well as with the Earth. By our spiritual stature, we are having a part in bringing all of Heaven down to Earth!
John reported what he saw in the heavenly realm of Spirit,
when he said,
“And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth” (Rev. 10:1-2). This was not just another angel that came down from Heaven to the earth, but this was a “mighty angel.” He was clothed with a cloud of spirit and a rainbow was on His head. The “mighty angel” of this vision was the Christ Body in all His holy fullness and completeness. He was clothed with that cloud of Spirit, with a rainbow on His head, indicating His power and authority given Him from Heaven, or from God. The rainbow is generally a symbol of hope and promise, as we read, “I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth” (Ge. 9:13 & 16).
The rainbow is upon the Head of the Christ Man, for He has come down from God out of Heaven, or out of the realm of Spirit, bringing the blessings and benefits of the Kingdom of God to the whole creation. The rainbow signifies all the prophetic promises of God that are yet unfulfilled. It is seen on the Head of this Christ Man, for all those promises shall be kept before our vision and also within the mind of Christ, assuring the complete and total fulfillment of each and every promise. Our loving, merciful Father remembers His covenant and its promises, which He has given to us, thus assuring us that it shall all be fulfilled.
Let us take a closer look at this “mighty angel,” which came down from God out of Heaven to the earth. His face was as it were the sun, which is to say, His face shone with the brightness of the glory of the Lord. His feet were as pillars of fire. The feet of this Man are the saints of God who lived on earth at the time of their transformation. We are the feet of this Christ Man, for we are the last members to be added to the Body of Christ, just as the feet of a baby are the last portion of the human body to be birthed! They/we are being born of the Spirit to become spirit; we are being birthed of the Spirit into the fullness of sonship. We are as pillars of fire, for the presence of God, Who is a consuming fire (He. 12:29), has consumed our Adamic mind and nature, making us pure and righteous in the sight of the Lord. The elect show forth the fiery presence of the Lord, to represent their new ministry. God, Who is a consuming fire, now fully indwells them and also envelopes them, so that their presence purifies and cleanses all who are near them. The righteousness of Christ is their standard, or their way of Life, and His righteousness or true holiness, is imparted to all who are purged by their presence. This feet company shall tread on Satan, putting him under their feet (Ro. 16:20), or under the feet of this entire and completed Christ Man for the age. The world has never yet seen a man like this Man! And when they do, they shall be changed into the same glorious image and likeness.
This Christ Man, or the Body of Christ, had a little, open book in His hand. That “book” may contain the “road map,” or the prophetic purposes of the Christ Man, purposes which must now be fulfilled. That “Book” was open, indicating that the time had come to fulfill all that was written about this Christ Man. As this Christ Man stood there with the little book open, He placed His right foot on the sea, and His left foot on the earth. In that He set His right foot in the sea, the Christ Man was thereby setting His right foot in the midst of all mankind. The “sea” in scripture generally represents man, or man in the flesh. The scripture says “the wicked are like the troubled sea” (Is. 57:20). If the wicked are like the troubled sea, then it is reasonable to believe that the “sea” that is not troubled, in prophetic type, represents all mankind. And when the Bible speaks of “the dragon that is in the sea” (Is. 27:1), we believe it is a reference to the beastly, Adamic nature in all of us. When this Christ sets His right foot in the sea, He is symbolically setting the very fiery presence of the Lord among and within the people of the world. The Feet of this Man shall cleanse them to establish the righteousness of Christ within them all. O, what a wonderful work shall be done when this Christ Man puts His right foot into the great “sea” of man!
Then, this Christ Man put His left foot on the earth. Thus, in prophetic purpose, the Christ was putting the fiery presence of the Lord into and upon everything else that is of the earth. The earth and everything in it and of it shall be thoroughly purged by the fiery presence of the Lord, and shall come forth manifesting the righteousness and the holiness of the Lord God omnipotent. The whole creation shall be cleansed and purified when this Christ Man puts His left foot on the earth! Then, “the wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child (or, this Christ-man) shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp (the most poisonous of snakes), and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea” (Is. 11:6-9).
We will also have the spiritual authority to bring Heaven to Earth, for the Name of that Heavenly “city” of God is upon our foreheads, which is the ruling center within us. Further, this Christ Man has as His Head, Christ the Spirit. The Head of this anointed and transformed Body is Christ! And that Head, which He is, reaches to Heaven, or to the Spirit realm, while the feet, which we are, are set upon the sea and the earth, thus joining Heaven to all mankind and the creation. To have the name of that “city” of God in our foreheads shows that we have been transformed from this earthly, material realm, to become manifest sons of God in the Kingdom of our Father. And when we are fully manifest sons of God, I believe we shall have the God-given authority, by the Spirit, to minister in any place and among any people in any condition, the Spirit and power of God that will change them. They shall all be changed by the fiery presence of God that indwells and surrounds the Feet, which we are.
The Body of Christ, or the Christ Man, shall have His Head in the Heavens and His feet on the sea and the earth, thus bringing Heaven (the Spirit of God), the sea (all mankind), and the Earth (the whole creation) together, to restore it all. And because the Body is fully joined to the Head, the whole Body, from the feet upwards, is of the same Spirit substance as the Head. And because this is true, every member of this anointed and glorified Christ Body shall have the same Holiness, Glory, Grace, Love and Life as the Head. There will be no difference between the Feet and the Head of that Body, for every part or member of that Body draws his or her Life from the Head; they shall all be filled with the same almighty, transforming and Life-giving Spirit!
And last of all, but certainly not the least, the Lord said, “I will write upon him MY NEW NAME.” (Rev. 3:12) The Lord had already said, “To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone A NEW NAME written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it” (Rev. 2:17). Our new name, which also is His new Name, is to be written on the “white stone” that shall be given to us. We believe that “white stone” is our new identity; it is what we are becoming in Christ! We are lively stones in the house of the Lord. Therefore, that “white stone” IS WHAT WE ARE IN CHRIST! And as overcomers, we shall be given the Lord’s new Name. It is declared to be a new name, “which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.”
No man will know that new name except those who receive it. Do not look for some prophet to tell you what your new name is, for no one else will know it. Only those who have received that new Name will know it. You and you alone will know your new name, which is also the Lord’s new Name. What the Lord is doing with His chosen elect now is private and personal. No one else can understand this walk, or what the Lord is doing with us, or why He is doing it! We are a mystery to the world and its religious systems, and the world is also a mystery to us. We are not of this world, for our Father is creating us anew into His own image and likeness. And no one else will ever understand us or the special dealings of God in our lives. So the mystery continues, as the Lord keeps His new Name for us a secret and a great mystery among mankind. But in due time, all mankind shall receive the blessings, benefits and holy attributes, which we shall share with them, as a result of our new name.
The New, Spiritual Ministry of the Priests of the Lord
Aaron, the Priest of the Lord in Israel’s history, wore a “breastplate of judgment,” along with the Urim and Thummim. He wore the “breastplate of judgment” on his heart continually when he went in before the Lord. In this way, Aaron carried the judgment of Israel with him when he went into the presence of the Lord, which included their sins and the penalty for those sins (see Ex. 28:29-30). So also do we carry the sins and iniquities of the people before the Father, along with the just judgment, and both the penalty and the Father’s correction for all those sins. The Urim and Thummim means “Lights” and “Perfection,” and are symbolic of the presence and work of the holy Spirit. Our priestly ministry in the Kingdom of our Father is bringing forth judgment unto correction for the people of God, by the Spirit. America is now experiencing the judgments of the Lord, which shall bring the rest of the believers in our nation to repentance. This shows that Christ is reigning now, and we are reigning with Him, as kings and priests of the most high God!
The prophet prophesied saying, “And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth” (Is. 49:6). This is a reference to the work and ministry of Christ, including the elect sons of God, who are growing up into Christ, the Head (Eph. 4:15). Our work and ministry now, as members of the Christ Body and in union with Him, is to raise up “the tribes of Jacob.” The tribes of Jacob are not a racial people of the flesh (Ro. 9:8), such as the Jews in the state of “Israel” or anywhere else, but we believe they represent the Christians of this world, who have become true believers in Christ, their Savior. The name, Israel, is given to the Lord’s chosen and elect saints, the remnant of the Lord. It is our name in a historical, yet prophetic sense, while the name, “the tribes of Jacob,” can only refer to all the other Christians. Nathaniel was an example of a true believer in Christ, for the Lord proclaimed him to be “an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile” (Jo. 1:47, see also Ro. 9:6-8, Eph. 2:11-13 & Heb. 8:8-13).
We are seeing that the Lord is now bringing judgment on this nation, specifically on the Christians of this nation, who are referred to in Isaiah’s prophecy as “the tribes of Jacob.” Part of our high calling in Christ is to “to raise up the tribes of Jacob,” and we do this by ministering to the Lord, in the Spirit and by the Spirit. May the Lord help us to understand that we are moving from a literal, outward, fleshly ministry, to the ministry of the Spirit, which is fulfilled in the Spirit and by the Spirit. There is Life in the new ministry of the Spirit, whereas there was only in-part life or incompleteness in the old ministry of the past. In this new ministry of Life, we ascend in the Spirit to worship the Lord and give Him the honor, the glory and the praise that is due Him. And when we do this by the Spirit, we are symbolically wearing that “breastplate of judgment” of the Aaronic priesthood, and are thus presenting “the tribes of Jacob,” or the wayward Christians, before the Father that they may be judged, corrected and restored by His Spirit.
Not a word need ever be spoken when we minister to the Father, by the Spirit, for God is ever mindful of all the needs of the world. Our Lord, King and Father of all does not need to be told what to do! It seems that Christians are always praying, telling God what needs to be done, as if He knows nothing about our needs or the needs of the world! Paul, the great apostle of the faith, said, “the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: FOR WE KNOW NOT WHAT WE SHOULD PRAY FOR AS WE OUGHT: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Ro. 8:26). Christians continue to pray, using their own words, which express their own will, when the holy scriptures of truth tell us that we know not what to pray for as we ought. God alone knows what is going on in this world, and He also knows every need!
Our God and Father of all knows the end from the beginning; He alone knows what is going on in this world, and why. Our Father is altogether sovereign, omnipotent and all-knowing. He does not need to be told what to do, for He is the Lord and the King of all! He is wisdom personified! We are the ones who do not know what is really going on in this world, and for what purpose. Unless the Spirit reveals something to us, we know nothing at all! Paul wrote, “And if any man think that he knoweth anything, he knoweth nothing yet as we ought to know.” And again, “we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Although this is God’s word of truth, let the emphasis here be on the wisdom of God and the revelation of His truth to us, rather than how little we know. Thank God! He is revealing Himself to us with ever increasing truth and life, and we are growing in the wisdom and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are truly growing spiritually unto our appointed moment of transformation!
It is impossible for us to put into words that can be spoken, what the Spirit would have us to pray. Even if we could pray with the wisdom and the understanding of the Spirit, man’s voices should not be heard in the heavens of Spirit. The voice and message of the Spirit is the language of Heaven! Rather than praying meaningless and empty words without purpose, the Spirit helps our infirmities, or our weaknesses, by making intercession through us and for us with groanings WHICH CANNOT BE UTTERED OR SPOKEN! This new ministry of Life is not a ministry patterned after the old order, that caused people to pray with fleshly, human words, for it is a ministry of, in, and by the holy Spirit of God. When we minister to the Lord in this new way, words of man cannot be spoken. The in-part and incomplete language of man can never express the righteousness and the holiness of the Lord. Only the pure Word of God can be and should be the expression of our lives.
If we must use the words and the language of man, we should pray the prayer our Lord told us to pray, when He said, “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen” (Mt. 6:7-13).
When God gets His people - all His people, not only His remnant saints, but all His people - in harmony with His sovereign will and omnipotent purposes, they will no longer pray with words of their own, which express their own will. But they will pray instead according to the holy will of their almighty, all-wise and all-knowing Father. Then they will express only the pure and perfect will of God, and will themselves be brought into harmony with the perfect, sovereign and holy will of God! It was Paul who also said, “And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession FOR THE SAINTS according to the will of God” (Ro. 8:27).
They that are led by the Spirit are the sons of God! And their prayers in the Spirit and according to the will of their Father show clearly that they are the sons of God! And as we, the elect of the Lord, minister according to this new way, others will also be led to minister in the same way, for all that we do in the Spirit is being used of God to teach others, by the same Spirit. All that we do in the Spirit will remain in the Spirit, that others also may learn, by that same Spirit. O that we might learn the ways of the Spirit! Then we shall have the keys of the Kingdom of God! Then, whatsoever we shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever we shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
God is bringing all His children to the realm in the Spirit where His will has become our will, so that we no longer have a will of our own. He has already done that for His true sons, who are the elect of the Lord. We are truly grateful to the Lord for what He has done for us! Now, our Father is dealing with the rest of Christendom, that they may all surrender their own will to the will of God. When this time of judgment unto correction is finished and the purposes of God have been fulfilled, all who name the Name of Christ will no longer have a will of their own, but will express only and always the pure and perfect will of their Father in Heaven.
The will of our Father is our first priority! It is possible that we are in the will of God in all we do, for we are becoming His will! The will of God is not something strange or foreign to us, for when His Spirit is leading us daily, we are then in the perfect will of our Father and are always doing His will. Many of the Lord’s true sons are going through deep trials. Be assured, beloved friend, that every test and trial we go through to bring us into His glorious image and likeness IS THE WILL OF GOD FOR US! Yet, there is no general description of the will of God that fits all His sons. As we have already written, my trials may be different from yours and yours may be different from mine. Your trials are the will of God for you, and mine are His will for me. And if our will is in harmony with His will, then we are doing His will at all times.
Father is not recreating us with the same process! He is not making us to be “bricks,” as if we were all made from the same mold on a production line in a factory. But He is making us to be “stones,” lively stones in His house and in His Kingdom. He is fashioning us like unto Himself, for Christ is the Headstone (Mt. 21:42); He is the Head of many others who are just like Him; He also is the chief corner Stone of this House, which we are (Eph. 2:20). As precious “stones” in the Kingdom of our Father, who are related to the chief corner Stone, we shall become a just, powerful, righteous and noble Kingdom of priests, who shall replace all the other governments and kingdoms of this world.
Tests and trials of every kind will come into our lives, until we may wonder if we are really in the will of God, or if we are being too passive and are not resisting the enemy as we should. One thing is certain, the enemy of our souls is doing everything he can to prevent us from attaining that Life and the glory beyond, for he knows that our transformation will bring an end to his kingdom. So we need to be able to discern between good and evil, as mature saints must do (read again He. 5:14), to know the difference between the tests and trials of this life, which are the will of God for us, and the work of the enemy, which may prevent us from receiving the fullness of the Life of Christ. The wonderful truth we should know now is the truth that our Father is giving each one of His sons the discernment, and the wisdom, the knowledge, and the understanding necessary to know the difference between good and evil, and between that which will edify and strengthen and that which will harm and weaken. By this same discernment, wisdom, knowledge and understanding, given us by the Spirit, we shall rule and reign with Christ in true judgment, justice and righteousness. We shall be fully equipped and prepared of the Spirit to rule the nations!
This Day, a Day of Contrasts: For Some, it is a Day of Judgment
Correction; For Us, it is the Day of our Second Birth
The prophet Isaiah, foretold of the dual aspects of this Day, when he prophesied this word of the Lord: “A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies. Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God” (Is. 66:6-9).
This Day is certainly a day when we have heard “A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.” I have heard some of those Voices and you may have also. I have heard Him say some good things and some not so good or pleasant things. But through it all, the loudest of His Voices have said: “Let my people go!” The Voice of the Lord, which is to be heard at this time, is His Voice declaring “recompence,” or that He will repay His enemies. It is His Voice announcing the approaching end of man’s systems and man’s works, and the beginning of the true and perfect work of the Lord. It is also the Voice of the Lord declaring release and deliverance for His waiting and groaning sons. The Voice of the Lord is coming from the holy city, which is the new Jerusalem. More specifically, His Voice is coming from the Temple of the Lord that is in the holy, heavenly city of God. And His Voice is alerting all who have hearing ears to hear this present time and season in God, which is calling for vengeance upon all the enemies of Christ.
The Lord’s method of “recompence,” or of bringing vengeance upon the wayward and the ungodly, is to bring His elect saints to their second birth! Our second birth into the very image and likeness of Christ will release the whole creation from its bondage to sin and death, thus fulfilling the vengeance of the Lord upon all the enemies of Christ. The vengeance of the Lord is not brought upon the world of the ungodly to destroy or alienate them, but to redeem and restore them into the glory and life of the image and likeness of Christ. Of the Lord’s dealings with Israel in the wilderness, the Psalmist said, “You answered them, O Lord our God; You were a forgiving God to them, although avenging their evildoing and wicked practices. Extol the Lord our God and worship at His holy hill, for the Lord our God is holy” (Ps. 99:8-9, AMP).
Why would the Psalmist encourage all of us to worship the Lord at His holy hill of Zion? Because He is holy! And because He is the forgiving God Who avenges the evil doing and the wicked practices of those who err, yet forgiving them of their sinful ways. Then God took a remnant from among that wayward nation and people and made them pure and righteous by dwelling or tabernacling within them. By the indwelling presence of Christ, the Spirit, Who is righteousness and holiness personified, we are His holy remnant, His chosen elect. We are fully prepared of our Father to do all the holy and perfect will of our Father!
And now, we are the temple of the Lord, the tabernacle of the most High God! As, by the Spirit, we rest in the House of the Lord, we are hearing another Voice. It is the same Voice of the Lord, calling forth the sons of God! And the voices of the sons are as the voices of women in travail. There is also something strange and unusual about this Day. The Lord said of this Day, “For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come” (Is. 63:4). This is a strange Day with a dual purpose. It is (1) to bring vengeance upon the ungodly, and also (2) to announce that the year of deliverance has come for the redeemed of the Lord. The words, “my redeemed,” refers to “the next of kin,” to those who are next in line to be brought forth into the fullness of sonship in the Kingdom of God. It is specifically referring to “they that are Christ's at his coming” (1 Cor. 15:23). Father shall bring vengeance upon the world by bringing forth His sons. The House or the Temple of the Lord reverberates with the voices of His sons, for they are all groaning and travailing, waiting to be delivered. They are all enduring the same pain, which is the pain of childbirth. Each one of those sons of God shall burst forth, manifesting the Life of Christ in splendid and perfect fullness.
The prophet, Jeremiah, prophesied, “Thus says the Lord:
We have heard a voice of trembling and panic--of terror, and not peace. Ask
now and see whether a man can give birth to a child? Why then do I see every
man with his hands on his loins like a woman in labor? Why are all faces turned
pale? Alas! for that day will be great, so that none will be like it; it will
be the time of Jacob's [unequaled] trouble, but he will be saved out of it.
[Matt 24:29,30; Rev 7:14.] For it will come to pass in that day, says the Lord
of hosts, that I will break [the oppressor's] yoke from your neck, and I will
burst your bonds; and strangers will no more make slaves of [the people of Israel].
But they will serve the Lord their God and David's [descendant] their King,
Whom I will raise up for them. [Jer 23:5.]” (Jer. 30:5-9, AMP). Did you
ever see a man give birth? We shall not only see it, but we shall be among those
spiritually mature “MEN,” who shall experience the wonder of that
awesome event! Those “MEN” are the sons of God, who shall become
manifest sons of God at the moment of their second birth, which is to take place
on this Day!
