THE KINGDOM OF GOD COMES TO EARTH

Part Twenty-nine
May 2003

Many of us know by now that the Kingdom of God is coming down from God out of Heaven to the Earth. This wonderful, positive and transforming truth of God has been confirmed by the written word of truth, and by His anointed, prophetic word. You may ask, what does all this mean? It means that God is more in control of this present world than we may realize. He is the great King and Lord of all! And our King and Lord of all is doing His perfect and holy will in all the earth in a way and in a manner we never imagined. The manner of the coming of the Kingdom of God to the earth is a total surprise to our natural minds, just as all our Father’s spiritual works are in the earth.

When Jesus said, “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation,”
we may have thought He was referring only to the initial coming of the Kingdom of God within us, as in Luke 17:20. But as the Kingdom of God continues to come to the earth at this time, which is the coming to earth of the next phase of the Kingdom, we can see that His Kingdom indeed “cometh not with observation.” The coming of the first phase of the Kingdom of God to the earth was the coming of Christ the King to reign within us that He might bring us totally under the power of His sovereign reign. Then, when we are fully and completely under the dominion of the reign of Christ and His Kingdom, the next phase of the Kingdom of God can come to the earth, which is the reign of Christ over all men and nations. Christ comes first to reign over His house, which we are. Then, He will come to reign over all nations, which He is beginning to do now!

We may wonder if there is any evidence to show clearly that Christ is reigning now over all men and all nations! Is there any evidence in the world around us to show that Christ is indeed reigning and that His Kingdom is being established in all the earth? Indeed, there is! To understand that the Kingdom of God is most certainly being established in the earth, we need to look to the Word of God, for His Word has already been given, declaring plainly how we will know that the Kingdom of God has come to earth. The anointed prophet of the Lord explained this, when he said, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, TO ORDER IT, AND TO ESTABLISH IT WITH JUDGMENT AND WITH JUSTICE from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this” (Is. 9:6-7).

We know the Kingdom of God is coming to the earth, for it is being established among us here on earth WITH JUDGMENT! The judgments of the Lord have come upon America and they continue to come upon us with the zeal of the Lord of hosts. Although the judgments of the Lord have begun here in America, they are affecting the whole world. Yet, His judgments must come forth with justice, and in mercy and truth, resulting in the righteousness of Christ being established in every life, beginning with the Lord’s elect and chosen sons. The prophet also declared, by the Spirit, “And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, JUDGING, AND SEEKING JUDGMENT, and hasting righteousness” (Is. 16:5).

Mature Sons Must Discern Both Good and Evil
Before we continue with this thought, let me share some deep truth, truth that is only given to those who are growing spiritually and who are maturing in God. The writer to the Hebrews wrote to say, “For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]! BUT SOLID FOOD IS FOR FULL-GROWN MEN, FOR THOSE WHOSE SENSES (their ability to judge) AND MENTAL FACULTIES ARE TRAINED BY PRACTICE TO DISCRIMINATE AND DISTINGUISH (with true judicial estimation) BETWEEN WHAT IS MORALLY GOOD AND NOBLE AND WHAT IS EVIL AND CONTRARY EITHER TO DIVINE OR HUMAN LAW” (Heb. 5:13-14, Amplified).

The kind of spiritual food our Father is giving us now is provided only for full-grown saints; it is for those who have matured spiritually, and who are able to discern between good and evil; it is not for mere babes in Christ! Some only want to hear good things; they are not yet fully grown and matured in the Spirit to be able to discern between that which is morally good and that which is evil and contrary to Kingdom principles. The truth Father is giving His elect now is the kind of truth we need to rule and reign with Christ. This kind of mature, spiritual food is only for those who shall rule and reign with Christ in His glorious Kingdom of righteousness, justice, love, mercy and truth! Jesus said, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Mt. 7:21). The world is full of so-called “Christians” who may cry, “Lord, Lord,” but whose hearts are far from the Lord and the sovereign purposes of His Kingdom. Only those who do the perfect will of their Father in Heaven shall have any part in the blessed and holy Kingdom of God! And the more mature among us are learning the difference between those who are called of God and who do the will of their Father, and those who merely mention His name.

The anointed prophet of the Lord said, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter” (Is. 5:20). The whole realm of Christendom embraces the false “Left Behind” doctrine. It is a bad doctrine created by the sinful, Adamic mind, but which is called “good” in many of the denominations and churches of today. But the Lord has a people in this Day who are learning to discern between such good and evil. And because they are learning this important principle of judgment in the Kingdom of their Father, they shall rule and reign with Him in the glory and honor of His holy and righteous throne!

It is written of Jesus, “Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered” (Heb. 5:8) Like us, Jesus was not a full-grown and fully matured Son when He was born into this world. But He learned obedience, and all the other necessary principles of the Kingdom, by the things which He suffered. When he announced the birth of Jesus, Isaiah declared, “Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, the young woman who is unmarried and a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel [God with us]. [Isa. 9:6; Jer. 31:22; Mic. 5:3-5; Matt. 1:22,23.] Butter and curds and wild honey shall he eat WHEN HE KNOWS [ENOUGH] to refuse the evil and choose the good” (Is. 7:14-15, Amplified).

Jesus gained in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, through the tests and trials of this life, to know the difference between that which was good and that which was evil. The prophetic parable given by Isaiah uses different types of food to illustrate the truth that there is good food and there is bad or evil food. So also is there good spiritual food and also bad spiritual food for our spirits and souls. This tells us that when Jesus matured to know the difference, He ate spiritual food and sustenance that was like eating butter and honey for His physical body. Just as Jesus grew and matured to know the difference between good food and bad, so also did He grow spiritually to know the difference between that which is good and that which is evil, spiritually speaking.

To determine that He was fully fit and finished, prepared to reign from His Father’s throne, Jesus was allowed to be tested of the devil (Mt. 4:1-11). Later, when Jesus was fully qualified to rule and reign on His Father’s throne, God said of Him, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him” (Mt. 17:5). We shall walk a similar path of tests and trials, as Jesus did, and shall also come forth fully prepared and qualified to reign with Him! And our tests and trials will include being tested of the devil, which will give us true spiritual discernment to know the difference between good and evil. Yet, in that spiritual process, we will not partake of the “the tree of knowledge of good and evil,” but shall continue to partake spiritually of “the tree of Life.”

In a situation that parallels the present time of judgment unto correction, the prophet Jeremiah asked the Lord how long their judgment would last. The Lord replied, “[Their chastisement will continue until it has accomplished its purpose] for My people are stupid, says the Lord [replying to Jeremiah]; they do not know and understand Me. They are thickheaded children, and they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge [and know not how]” (Jer. 4:22, Amplified). The Lord also said, “Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them” (Jer. 32:42).
Sons who shall rule and reign with Christ on their Father’s throne must be able to discern between good and evil. We must learn this just as Jesus learned it. God’s word to us is, “Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.” And also, “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good” (Ro. 12:9 & 21). “See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men” (1 Thess. 5:15). Therefore, we must know the difference between good and evil! Our Father is giving His elect discernment, true judgment, and wisdom and understanding, to know the difference between good and evil, in the Spirit and by the Spirit.

Then, as if to give a sense of finality to this subject, Peter admonished us, saying, “Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering EVIL for EVIL, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life (the eternal and everlasting Life of Christ), and see good days (in this life), let him refrain his tongue from EVIL, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew EVIL, and do GOOD; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do EVIL. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is GOOD?” (1 Pet. 3:8-13). And John wrote to say, “Beloved, follow not that which is EVIL, but that which is GOOD. He that doeth GOOD is of God: but he that doeth EVIL hath not seen God” (3 Jo. 11). Therefore, it is abundantly clear that we must be able to discern between GOOD and EVIL. This God-given ability is given to us by the Spirit, that we might be qualified to rule and reign with Christ!

The Day of the Lord and this New, Kingdom Day
All mature sons, who can discern the times and seasons in God, as well as Father’s purpose for each time and season, will know with full assurance that the judgments of God have indeed come upon our nation! Time has progressed from the evening of this new, Kingdom Day to the midnight hour. And just as natural, literal darkness increases at midnight, so the present, prophetic midnight hour is a time of increased spiritual darkness in all the earth. Spiritual darkness has obviously increased, especially in this nation, and it has affected every other nation on earth. We are coming to the end of the Day of the Lord! This is a time of transition, a time when the previous age overlaps the next; it is also the beginning of the wonderful age of the Kingdom of God on earth; it is that specific time when the judgments of the Lord have come upon this nation, accompanied by spiritual darkness. The prophet said, “Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?” (Amos 5:20). The Day of the Lord is a day of darkness! But the Light of Christ appeared at evening time to announce the beginning of the wonderful age of the Kingdom of God on earth during this dark night. And we are blessed to know the truth, which is that the Light that Christ is shall overcome all this darkness, in the fullness of time.

Then in the next few verses, the Lord declared what His attitude would be during this night. No doubt He was speaking of the present church system, when the Lord said: “I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. But let JUDGMENT run down as waters, and RIGHTEOUSNESS as a mighty stream” (Amos 5:21-24). Therefore, spiritual darkness and the Lord’s judgments accompany the Day of the Lord, as well as the nighttime hours of the beginning of the Kingdom age! By this we know that the Kingdom of God is coming to the earth and that Christ is reigning in the earth, bringing forth His judgments. And His judgments will correct the wayward condition of His people, beginning in this country.

The above scripture undoubtedly applies to the corrupt and backslidden church system of the present time, just as the rest of the prophetic word applies to us today. The Lord said He hates their feast days, their dead, lifeless celebrations, and their religious assemblies. All the offerings they offer the Lord are not acceptable to Him. He will not accept their offerings, for they are given from hearts that are far from God. The Lord will not hear their empty songs of praise and worship no matter how much they weep and are moved to such soulish manifestations. God will have repentance from His people, not empty, soulish praise and worship that only confirms their unbelief. Then the judgments of the Lord will “run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.” His judgments will turn such “Christians” around, bringing them to repentance and a willingness to do all His holy will in all the earth.

When troublous times of the Lord’s judgments unto correction come upon us, the word of the Lord gives us the remedy. And that remedy was given first to Solomon at the completion of his temple. But it applies to all believers from that day to this, for we are members of His tabernacle, of His house, and of His church. The Lord’s remedy is: “I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If MY PEOPLE, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chron. 7:12-14).

America NOW Under Judgment
The United States of America has a unique calling in God! It is that the Kingdom of God shall come first to the remnant in this nation, who shall be responsible for spreading the spirit and message of the Kingdom of God to every nation and people under heaven. There are saints of other nations as well, who are with us in Spirit, and who shall inherit and fulfill the same promises. This nation has a Divine destiny to accomplish! Many of us have known this wonderful truth for some time; it is a truth that has been confirmed by others as well. We believe the United States of America is the new land of Israel’s heritage, the land of promise as given in 2 Sam. 7:10. It is now the gathering place of a remnant of all thirteen tribes of Israel (the two tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh replaced the tribe of Joseph). Because of America’s destiny in the purposes of God, our nation must be judged of the Lord and corrected of her many sins and iniquities. Then the righteousness of Christ will be manifestly evident in the life of every believer! When this nation’s many sins and iniquities are judged and corrected of the Lord, Father’s plans and purposes for the restoration of all things and the full establishment of His Kingdom in all the earth shall then be fulfilled.

The United States of America was begun by a Godly people, a people of faith. The early Pilgrims came to America as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ to further the cause of the Kingdom of God in the earth. They left their homes in Europe to flee religious persecution and oppression and to establish themselves as a church in this country, where they could worship the Lord in true freedom and liberty. But since those early days, our nation and people have strayed from the Lord and from the holy purposes of His Kingdom. Therefore, judgment unto correction is now urgently needed to bring our nation and people back to God, and to bring to pass our Father’s holy, Kingdom purposes for this nation.

In his writing, titled, “America Under Judgment,” written in 1980, Preston Eby wrote the following about America and her Godly heritage: “First I would stir up your pure minds to reflect upon the greatness of the heritage of our people and our land. It will now be to our edification to examine how we became a people and a nation. Standing on the western shores of Europe 500 years ago, you could not see nor visualize a great continent that lay to the west, only what seemed to be an endless stretch of the Atlantic Ocean. Yet there was a great continent out there to the west. Now may I ask you, `Did Jesus Christ know of this North American Continent?’ Your only answer could be, `Yes, of course He did.’ Let me ask another question, `Did Jesus Christ know that a great nation would be established here?’ `Of course He did!’ Still another please - `Did Jesus know this great nation (yet to be born) would be Christian from its beginning?’ Of course He knew that, for He Himself is the author of that true walk with God which we call `Christian.’

“From the inception of this nation, the peoples who colonized America had a burning conviction that they had a special mission to fulfill in life. The early American colonists sincerely believed they had a `divinely appointed destiny’ and thought of themselves as `being chosen for a special mission in the world.’ In 1630, John Winthrop, governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony, wrote: `We shall find that the God of Israel is among us... The eyes of all people are upon us.’ When the Pilgrims waded ashore at Plymouth, Mass., in 1620, according to their first governor, William Bradford, `they fell upon their knees and blessed the God of Heaven who had brought them from all the perils and miseries.’ I would like to have heard the prayers and expressions of thanksgiving offered by those inspired mariners as they landed on this shore: they who founded a nation which inscribes on the coin of the realm, `In God we trust.’

“Let your mind picture, if it will, a little shallop tossing on the Atlantic Ocean near the tip of Cape Cod. There, encompassed by the waters, before a single foot was pressed on Plymouth Rock, our fathers called a solemn convocation in the stuffy cabin of the Mayflower and drew up what is known as the Mayflower Compact: `In the Name of God, Amen. We whose names are under written, having undertaken for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith, a voyage to plant the first colony... do by these Presents, solemnly and mutually, in the presence of God, combine ourselves into a civil body politic.’

“Pray tell me, what other nation was ever founded `for the glory of God, and the advancement of the Christian faith?’ This much is certain: recorded history of that day contains such statements as, `Nonconformists (to the established religious systems of the day) who were determined to seek new habitations and to found another Canaan on the western side of the Atlantic.’ We also read of such men as Mr. Winthrop, who gave as his former motive for founding a settlement in America as, `the carrying of the Gospel into America and erecting a bulwark against the kingdom of Antichrist’ (See Channing’s History of the United States, Vol. 1, chapter 12).

“That was the beginning of our politics - `In the Name of God, Amen.’ With increasing accessions from the godly people of the old lands, the number of colonies grew from one to four and federation became desirable. A man of God drew up the Articles of Federation: `Whereas, we all came into these parts of America with one and the same end; namely, to advance the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ and to enjoy the liberties of the Gospel in purity, we therefore conceive it our bounden duty... that, as in nation and religion, so in other respects, we be and continue one.’

“That declaration made us a people. It was the forerunner of our government. It is interesting and important to note that when our Christian Pilgrim Fathers departed from Europe, when the force of persecution could no longer be evaded, they were not like frightened, scattered sheep, but a strong federation of Christian families gathered in a CHURCH. We must never forget that the real beginning of America was a little believing Church. America was, in fact, A CHURCH BEFORE IT WAS A NATION! We should marvel at the guiding and defending hand of Almighty God that, in spite of kings and prelates, in spite of all the power of the ruling Babylonian church system, caused that little Church to be gathered. Let us always remember that the planting of the United States of America, the hereditary strain that determined our country's character, was a SPIRITUAL PLANTING. The fathers who planted this nation were spiritual men - Christians. They came on a specifically Christian venture. Get it fixed in your mind, beyond the power of any false history to erase, that the planting that determined the genius of this nation was a CHURCH not a town, not a colony, not a trading or exploring venture, not a gold rush, but a CHURCH. Ah, yes, a little Pilgrim Church crossed the sea for the sake of its spiritual life - that is the true origin of our United States!

“Sometimes we become aware of an agitation to `put God in the Constitution’ and it is implied that we have been a godless nation because Deity is not mentioned in our Constitution. However, the Constitution is not our greatest national document. The Mayflower Compact made us a civil body politic. The Articles of Federation made us a people. The Declaration of Independence made us a nation. All of them are based on the people's commitment to God. Not one of them ever has been or ever can be amended.” (End of quotation.)

Let it be firmly established that the United States of America was originally founded as a church, with a Divine destiny and a holy mission and purpose to fulfill in the world! That Divine destiny has not changed, for God is ever mindful of His call and purpose for this nation and its people. America, specifically, the believers within her, are the true Israel of God. In the same article we quoted, Preston Eby also asked, “Are we not the Israel of God?” And indeed we are! Therefore, the Lord must now judge and correct our nation and people to make us fit servants of the Lord, that we might be prepared to fulfill our Divine destiny!

The time has come when the Holy mission and purpose for which we were called of God, to serve the holy and sovereign purposes of the Kingdom of God in the earth, is now nearing fulfilment! God must purify and perfect the wayward and backslidden Christians of this nation, just as He has cleansed and purified His elect and chosen sons! Judgment must come first to the house of the Lord, according to the word of the Lord (see 1 Pet. 4:17), and it has! Those who make up the body of Christ, the sons of God, or the true Church, have already been judged and corrected of the Lord! Now, the time has come when the judgments of the Lord must come to the rest of God’s people in this nation! The Kingdom of God is coming to the earth! And His Kingdom is ordered and established in the earth “WITH JUDGMENT.” The judgments of the Lord upon America must take place in mercy, in truth and in righteousness. Then, the righteousness of Christ will be the result and benefit of the merciful and corrective judgments of the Lord. All the signs of the times now indicate that the judgments of the Lord have indeed come upon America! In fact, the evidence is clear that the judgments of the Lord have been taking place in America FOR THE LAST FORTY YEARS!

In the same article we quoted above, titled, “America Under Judgment,” Preston Eby told of clear, anointed prophecies that came forth, declaring that judgment had come upon America, beginning in 1961. Then he wrote to say, “In my opinion there is no greater certainty than that the judgments of God upon our beloved country began just when God declared they did – in 1961! It should be clear to any man or woman with one eye to see and half sense, that during the past two decades (he wrote this in 1980) America's power, pride, prestige, and purpose HAVE BEEN BROKEN.” To show how America has been under the judgment of God, Preston Eby referred to the Bay of Pigs disaster, the assassinations of President Kennedy, his brother Robert, and Martin Luther King. This was followed by domestic disorders, the hippie movement, drug addiction among our young people, and the Vietnam War. That war cost America $300 billion and 55,000 young American lives; it was a war that we LOST. And it appears that we haven’t learned a thing from that failed war! Then there was the hostage situation is which Americans were taken hostage by Iranians, as well as many other troubles which took place, indicating that our beloved nation, the United States of America, has been experiencing the judgments of the Lord for the last forty years.

The number FORTY has to do with probation, trial and judgment. According to the book, “Number in Scripture,” the number forty also is the product of 5 and 8, and points to the action of grace (5), leading to and ending in revival and renewal (8). Obviously, forty years of judgment has already taken place in this nation. But now we are facing an additional time of judgment unto correction, indicating the beginning of the new age of the Kingdom of God on earth. The throne of the Lord is being established over all the earth IN JUDGMENT UNTO CORRECTION, and will end when the new morning dawns, WITH RENEWAL AND RESTORATION. After forty years of judgment upon America, there has now come a time in which the Lord’s judgments upon this nation will intensify unto an appointed end. And the judgments of the Lord shall end with the dawning of the new, Kingdom morning, bringing the blessings and benefits of the Kingdom of God to all.

To show that judgment has come upon America, we can see that our economy has been destroyed, we are once again a debtor nation, peace was taken from the earth, war has been declared against several nations, and our country has been turned into an armed camp. There are many parallels to be seen between present world conditions and prevailing conditions when Israel was in bondage in Egypt. As the Lord raised up Pharaoh of old to resist the will, purpose and plan of God, so also has He raised up another “Pharaoh” in this day who is also resisting the plan and purpose of the Lord for today, and that “Pharaoh” is our president, George W. Bush. The Lord said he is “a wolf in sheep’s clothing, a vessel of dishonor, and a vessel of wrath prepared for destruction.” It is the same anointed word the Lord gave for Pharaoh of old (see Romans 9:17-24). Our president cannot help himself. He is what he is by the omnipotent and creative hand of God. He is doing the will of God just as Pharaoh of old did, but in a negative way. The Lord made our president what he is, to bring judgment upon our nation so that God’s people, other than the elect, may repent and turn to Him! The elect of the Lord, or the Lord’s chosen sons, have already been judged and corrected by Him. Now, the rest of God’s people must be judged and corrected of the Lord. And the present judgments of the Lord will gloriously end in renewal and restoration!

We have shown that our present situation coincides with Israel’s bondage in Egypt. With each attempt to persuade Pharaoh to let Israel go free, that Egyptian king only got stronger and stronger, by the will and purpose of the Lord. But the Lord continued with His plan to set His people free. He even established a new day in Israel. “And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you” (Ex. 12:1-2). So also has the Lord established a new Day at this time! It is the new Day of the Kingdom of God on earth! During Israel’s early history, the Lord established the Passover for His people, which would save their firstborn from the scourge of death. They were to eat the Passover in haste, with their loins girded, their shoes on their feet and their staff in their hand; they were to be ready to move when the Lord moved. When the blood was applied to their doorposts, the Lord would pass over their homes, thus preserving all their firstborn.

The Lord said, “For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD” (Ex. 12:12). You will notice that there were two phases of that judgment, which took place at night. In the first phase, God said He would smite all the firstborn of Egypt. The original word for “firstborn” also includes the chief ones, which are the leaders of this world and its systems, who are responsible for the chaos and confusion in this world. Those leaders of the present time shall not escape the judgments of the Lord, but shall be judged and corrected of Him, that they too may have a place in the Kingdom of God. The second phase of the Lord’s judgment of the Egyptians declares that He will execute judgment “against all the gods of Egypt.” There is no question in our minds as to what this means! It is a direct reference to the religious systems of man that have interfered with the holy purposes of God. The entire church system is doing their own will, not the pure and perfect will of God! The whole denominational system, including all the churches and fellowships, were created by man. It is that which is Antichrist in spirit and purpose, for the whole corrupt thing is led and guided by man, not by the Lord. Therefore, the Lord must execute judgment “against all (those) gods of Egypt,” which are the religious systems of this world.

We will learn a very great truth when we learn, by the Spirit, that our God and Father of all has been in charge of man’s sin and unbelief, just as He is in charge of man’s return to Him. The Apostle Paul wrote, by the anointing and inspiration of the Spirit, to tell us this great truth: “For the creation (nature) was subjected to frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it--[yet] with the hope [Eccl. 1:2.]” (Ro. 8:20, Amplified). Man and the whole creation was made subject to this vanity of sin and death, not by man’s own choice or will, but BY THE WILL OF GOD, Who subjected us to this bondage, with the hope of a full recovery by redemption and restoration. We were made subject to this frailty, to this futility and to this frustration, not because of some intentional fault on our part, but BY THE WILL OF GOD! And then the Lord added this wonderful truth: “That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God's children” (Ro. 8:21, Amplified). Just as our collective fall took place by the holy and sovereign will of our Father, so also shall our full redemption and restoration take place in the fullness of time, by the perfect and holy will of our God!

The prayer of Moses also declares this great truth: “LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. THOU TURNEST MAN TO DESTRUCTION; and sayest, Return, ye children of men” (Ps. 90:1-3). Notice how clearly and deliberately Moses establishes the fact that GOD IS GOD! Whether we understand the Lord or agree with what He has done, THE LORD IS GOD OVER ALL! He has done and will yet do all His holy will with every person and the whole creation! He was the Lord over all when He subjected us to this frailty and frustration, and He will be the same Lord over all when He delivers us out of this bondage into the glorious freedom of God’s sons! Then, having established the truth that GOD IS GOD and that He is well able to do whatever He has purposed to do from the beginning, Moses declared, “THOU TURNEST MAN TO DESTRUCTION; AND SAYEST RETURN, YE CHILDREN OF MEN.”

Who is it that has turned man to destruction and subjected us all to this bondage? It is the Lord God omnipotent! God Himself takes the responsibility for turning man to destruction, knowing that He would also call us to RETURN! Mankind has endured the long, painful and frustrating millenniums of this bondage to sin and death. And now, at the end of the ages of man, God is saying to us, “Return, ye children of men.” As we have already shown, the United States of America is the gathering place of the Lord’s chosen people. Our nation began as a church with a Divine and holy purpose to fulfill in all the world. We were turned to destruction by the will of God! Now our heavenly Father is saying, “Return, ye children of men.” The time has come when all the Lord’s people of this nation must be judged and corrected of the Lord that they may all return to Him! And when the Lord judges and corrects His people, they will truly, completely and wholeheartedly return to Him! Just as surely as God is God, so surely will He fulfill His purposes concerning this world!

Furthermore, as the Lord raised up Moses and endued him with power from on high to deliver His people, so also has the Lord raised up an anointed “Moses company” in the earth today. They will manifest the Kingdom of God in the earth, bringing deliverance to the masses of this world who are in bondage to the world and its corrupt, man-made systems. And as the Lord called Moses to ascend Mt. Sinai and meet with Him there, so also has the Lord called His elect up to Mt. Zion that we might meet with Him there and be empowered to bring deliverance to the multitudes of this world. Those multitudes are in bondage to the systems of this world and do not know it! The world’s perverted systems, called “Babylon” (Rev. 18), were created by the old man, Adam, who is the man of sin within all mankind (see 2 Thess. 2:3-4 & Is. 14:12-17). The Lord is on the move again to set His people free, as He was in Israel’s history, and may we be prepared to move with Him!

The first time the phrase, “Let my people go,” was used is in Exodus, chapter five and verse one. “Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.” Why did God want His people, Israel, to be free at that time? So they could celebrate a feast or a sacred festival unto the Lord in the wilderness! God wants us to be set free from all bondages and to be holy and righteous, as a result of His judgments, that we might celebrate a greater feast unto the Lord. Although Israel was called to celebrate a feast unto the Lord in the wilderness, we are seen coming out of the wilderness of this world, to celebrate a greater feast unto the Lord. We cannot be in bondage to the elements of this world while we celebrate this feast, but must know the blessed freedom and victory of the Kingdom of God on earth. And our celebration of a feast unto the Lord will be the grandest of them all; it will be the last and best feast, the Feast of Tabernacles.

Of that greater feast, the Feast of Tabernacles, the word of the Lord has declared, “And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto (the New) Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD's house shall be like the bowl's before the altar. Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite (from the Amplified: any godless or unclean person, whether Jew or Gentile) in the house of the LORD of hosts” (Zech. 14:16-21).

When the time has come for all men to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, every person of every nation on earth shall worship the Lord God of Israel. They will keep that feast in strict obedience to the Lord and His pure Word. If anyone, including the heathen, should fail to keep this most sacred feast unto the Lord, God will correct them, making them willing to do all His holy will. In that wonderful Day to come, every part of the Lord’s house, including all its symbols and furnishings, shall declare and manifest the holiness of the Lord. HOLINESS shall be written everywhere, including on our foreheads, along with His name (Eze. 9:4 & Rev. 9:4), to illustrate the truth that the HOLINESS of the Lord is an expression of our new nature. It is the Kingdom principle by which we live!

The Lord has declared that all His people shall dwell in tabernacles or in booths in obedience to His will. “And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast” (Hos. 12:9). This tells us that all true sons of God will observe the feast of tabernacles, in the Spirit and by the Spirit, and not according to “the Jews' feast of tabernacles” (Jo. 7:2). We are celebrating that feast by being shut away in our own individual tabernacle or booth, which is the secret place of the most High God! How wonderful it is for us, during these times of war, trouble and chaos, to be shut in with God in the secret place, there in the Spirit beholding His face, by which we shall be gloriously transformed and changed into His splendid image and radiant likeness.

Signs of the Times Point to Jehovah’s Judgment upon America
The above scripture is given in the American Standard Version of the Bible as, “But I am Jehovah thy God from the land of Egypt; I will yet again make thee to dwell in tents, as in the days of the solemn feast” (Hos. 12:9, ASV). The name “Jehovah” is the name used of the LORD when He is to be seen and known as being the self-Existent or Eternal One. He is Jehovah Elohim, He that always was, that always is, and that ever is to come. The Sacred Name Bible tells us “it is a combination in marvelous perfection of the three periods of existence in one word - the future, the present, and the past.” He it is Who is now leading us to dwell in booths, tents, or tabernacles, as in the early days when that solemn feast was first instituted in Israel. He is the same Lord for us today as He was in Israel’s history, and also the same Lord Who shall do all His perfect will in the eternal future.

By the Name, Jehovah, He is to be known as “the most high over all the earth,” (Ps. 83:18). He is the King and Lord over all, Who is now bringing forth judgment upon our nation and people. By His Name, Jehovah, He also is revealed as “the LORD JEHOVAH (Who) is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation” (Is. 12:2). Our Lord Jehovah makes us strong, enabling us to make it through this dark night of judgment. He is our song, giving us reason and purpose to sing prophetic songs in the Spirit during this night. He also is our salvation, bringing us to full salvation, which will result in our transformation, from this death to the glory and the Life of Christ!

Just as the signs of America’s judgment for the last forty years were given in the first paragraph on page eleven, so also should we consider the present signs of the times, showing that judgment has indeed come upon America. Hundreds of billions of dollars have been lost in retirement accounts, such as IRAs and 401Ks, and more than two million people have been put out of work. The twin towers of the World Trade Center were destroyed, resulting in thousands of lives lost, the Pentagon was partially destroyed, and an airliner was crashed in Pennsylvania, killing more people. War was waged against the nation of Afghanistan, allegedly to capture Osama bin Laden; but we know the real reason was to build a pipeline across Afghanistan for the rich and powerful oil companies.

The United States is now a debtor nation once again, as this administration has put us $304 billion in debt in just one year, and there is more debt to come when we must pay for this war. And, $162 billion has been taken from the Social Security fund causing us to wonder what will happen to the retired and the elderly when those funds are gone. The United States of America was once known as “the land of the free and the home of the brave,” but we are now known as an aggressor nation. For the first time in our history a U.S. president has attacked another nation, demanding that that nation must have a “regime change.” The alleged reason for this war is to force Saddam Hussein out of power and eliminate his “weapons of mass destruction.” But we know the real reason is so the world’s major oil companies may have more oil to sell, increasing their profits. It is only for OIL that we are sending our precious young people to fight this war in Iraq, and for which our grandchildren will have to pay in added taxes in the very uncertain future. Instead of a nation fostering Christian ethics, such as righteousness, justice and peace among the nations, our country is now a warrior nation. We are taking war to the world and exporting weapons of warfare to other nations. Our billions of dollars every year have made the false state of Israel another aggressive, warrior nation. And now there is the SARS pestilence (as in 2 Chron. 7:13)! If this is not enough to bring God’s people to repentance, I certainly don’t know what is! (Read again Jer. 4:22, which we quoted on page 4.)

It appears that FORTY YEARS OF JUDGMENT are now condensed into three years, and may extend a few more years. No wonder Senator Robert Byrd of W. V. cried out before the Senate, to say: “What is happening to this country? When did we become a nation which ignores and berates our friends? How can we abandon diplomatic efforts when the turmoil in the world cries out for diplomacy? How can this president not seem to see that America’s true power lies not in its will to intimidate, but in its ability to inspire? May God continue to bless the United States in the troubled days ahead, and may we somehow recapture the vision which for the present eludes us.” (End of quotation.) I’ll tell you what’s happening to our beloved country! America is being judged of the Lord! Christ is reigning, bringing judgment upon our nation! And there is no political solution to our national problem! Ours is A SPIRITUAL PROBLEM WITH A SPIRITUAL SOLUTION!

If our country had a regime change immediately, it would not be the end of our problems! OUR PROBLEM IS A SPIRITUAL PROBLEM; it is one for which the Lord alone has the answer. And that answer, that solution is the repentance and return to the Lord of everyone who names the Name of Christ! When every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ humbles themselves, repents, turns to Him, and submits to the holy will of their Father, then the Lord will release us from His judgments, and will continue to fulfill all His will concerning our nation and people. May the Spirit of the Lord lead His people to repent, while we, the elect of the Lord, continue to stand faithfully before the Lord! The Lord has a huge investment in our lives, an investment of spiritual treasures and the riches of His Kingdom. May we press on in the Spirit to our appointed goal in Christ, which is to become manifest sons of God!

The word of the Lord has gone forth, saying, “My rightness and justice are near, My salvation is going forth, and My arms shall rule the peoples; the islands shall wait for and expect Me, and on My arm shall they trust and wait with hope. Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath; for the heavens shall be dissolved and vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein (old Adam) shall die in like manner [like gnats]. But My salvation shall be forever, and My rightness and justice [and faithfully fulfilled promise] shall not be abolished. [Matt 24:35; Heb 1:11; 2 Peter 3:10.]” (Is. 51:4-6, AMP). And, “The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more. At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord.” (Zeph. 3:15-20). We rejoice in the faithfulness of the Lord! He is in control! And our God reigns!
