Part Twenty-three
November 2002

The present truth for this hour is the Kingdom of God is coming to the earth! This blessed truth is being received by all the Lord’s elect and is being confirmed by the Spirit to all who have ears to hear and eyes to see. In the midst of this midnight hour of gross, spiritual darkness, the Light of the revelation of the Truth, which is Christ, is breaking through this darkness to show us where we are in time and in the purposes of our Father. And how we rejoice in knowing that this present era of spiritual darkness is only temporary, and that our all-wise Father is fulfilling His plans and purposes in spite of the darkness of these times. Our calling now is to anticipate the appearing of Christ, which will transform us and bring about the glorious dawning of the bright, new Kingdom morning, thus turning this long, dark night into the endless and eternal Day of the Kingdom of God on earth.

Before proceeding any further, perhaps it would be to our spiritual advantage to consider some truths regarding this midnight hour of spiritual darkness, and our Father’s purpose for it. While we do not wish to dwell on the negative, to understand the darkness and Father’s purpose for it will help us make it through this night. The present spiritual darkness in the earth is obviously a part of Father’s plan and purpose for this particular time and season in God. And this spiritual darkness is causing people and our relationships with people to take on an entirely different attitude or perspective. Relationships with people are much more complicated now! One of the prophets said that during the day of the Lord, “all faces shall gather blackness” (Joel 2:6). What does this mean? It means that people will take upon themselves the spiritual darkness of these times. They will manifest that darkness on their faces or on their countenances, thus revealing their inner, spiritual condition, including the state of their souls or minds.

The word “blackness” means to glow with a flush of anxiety. That Hebrew word comes from another, meaning to gleam, to boast, and to explain or make clear oneself. People today cannot help but reveal themselves as well as the evil and the good that is within them. Those who are carnally minded and possibly even evil will show forth the darkness of their evil and carnal minded ways. This is clearly seen in the increased manifestations of sin, evil and carnality, which now plagues the world. God is exposing and revealing all that is within man. The sinful and carnal-minded will manifest the evil within them, while those who are righteous will show forth the righteousness of Christ that is also within them. The Spirit of the Lord is causing His elect to show forth and manifest all that is within them during this present day of the Lord, that their inner iniquities might be dealt with and they should be fully restored. We may try to avoid it but the word of God is clear, “all faces shall gather blackness.” In other words, all people will gather to themselves some of the darkness of these times and will manifest that darkness outwardly at times through the carnality of old Adam that is also within them. And in manifesting the carnality within us we shall be completely cleansed, healed and fully restored! When the Lord has fully judged and cleansed us He will then reveal Himself and make Himself known to the nations (Eze. 35:11).

We may ask, what or who initiated this condition of spiritual darkness in the earth? The prophet, Joel, said, “BEFORE THEIR FACE the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.” The NIV translation shows that verse as, “AT THE SIGHT OF THEM, nations are in anguish; every face turns pale” (Joel 2:6, NIV). And just who are the people referred to in this verse? They are the elect and chosen ones who have grown spiritually to become the great and strong army of the Lord, as recorded in Joel’s prophecy. They/we are declared to be, “a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of the mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array” (Joel 2:2-5).

That is what God has said of us and that is what we are at this time when the day of the Lord, along with the Kingdom rule and reign of Christ, has come to the earth! I never fully understood this prophecy until now! This new Kingdom Day, which began at evening time, has progressed from evening to the midnight hour by our spiritual growth in God. This Day had to progress from evening to midnight, for God has formed us into a mighty army of spiritually strong people, who do only His will and who are set in battle array against spiritual darkness and the evil and carnality of this world. The coming of the Kingdom of God to the earth could only take place after an elect remnant had come forth to do the will of God on earth. If this midnight hour is not the time for us to be transformed, this Day will progress to the time of the “cockcrowing” and then to the glorious dawning of the new Kingdom morning, when we shall be transformed (see Mk. 13:35). And we are the people who are making it all come to pass! We are that anointed, prophetic company, the glorious army of the Lord, who are fulfilling the Word of our Father in the earth! We are that illustrious and strong army of the Lord who are anointed to bring to pass Father’s eternal purposes in all the earth!

When, by the Spirit, the Lord quickened Joel’s prophecy to me, He used personal experiences in my life to teach me the truth of Joel 2:2-5. I hesitate to use my own personal experiences, but the Spirit makes me know that our own personal experiences are often spiritual experiences that others of the elect are also realizing and experiencing. It is my spiritual understanding that the Lord teaches us His truth by His Spirit, gives us the understanding of that truth, and then leads us to walk out that truth, by His Spirit. Thus, we go from the realm of teaching and learning, to the realm of receiving the understanding of that teaching, and finally to the realm of walking out that teaching and experiencing it in our lives. We should all be growing spiritually, from hearing the message to walking it out, by the Spirit. Some have written saying that so-and-so is “in this message.” But if they only have the message they are yet incomplete and are lacking in the fullness of the experience the message conveys. Unless we grow from hearing the message to walking it out in our lives, we are far from being complete and mature in God!

The Lord has led me to EXPERIENCE His Word of truth, not just to hear the message! And I believe He has led many of you to do the same also! This is the Day when Joel’s inspired and anointed prophetic word of the Lord is being fulfilled in a people (Joel 2:1-11)! And we are the people who are fulfilling that prophetic Word! It is he that DOETH the truth who is coming to the Light of Christ (Jo. 3:21). Father is not the least bit interested in those who TALK the truth; He is interested only in those who are obedient to His revealed Word of truth and who DO the truth, as He leads them by His Spirit! This being true, I would like to share with you an experience in our lives, showing the fulfillment of Joel’s prophecy at this present midnight hour of gross spiritual darkness in all the earth.

This summer, Emily and I were privileged and blessed with the opportunity of traveling with some of our friends. The weather was good during the first part of the trip, but then it started to rain. It rained quite heavily, but the rain was not yet causing problems. Not until we were ready to leave that area did we hear news reports telling of flooding as a result of the heavy rains. Truly, that “land (was) as the garden of Eden before (us), and behind (us it was as) a desolate wilderness.” As I reflected on a possible purpose in God for our trip, the Spirit revealed to me that our presence there brought the judgments of the Lord upon that land, resulting in devastating floods. This revelation made the prophecy of Joel (2:1-11) become a living reality to me, in the Spirit and by the Spirit!

We tend to think of the Lord’s judgments as being a negative thing. That may be true according to our natural understanding, but when we see our Father’s sovereign purposes by the Spirit, we will see that His purpose for sending His judgments to the earth is to bring people to repentance, and to correct them and bring about change in their lives. With this understanding, we can see that the Lord’s judgments are for correction and restoration, and ultimately will have a very positive result and benefit. Obviously, the Lord has purposed to bring correction and restoration to the people where those floods occurred. And He will eventually do the same in every part of this world, for the whole earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. The Lord also reminded me that we were in New York City and Washington D.C. a few years ago, and that His judgments quite obviously followed us there also.

While we walk through this world, God is walking with us, for He is within us. There is no place where we might go that His presence is not with us! And since God is walking with us, we know His plans and purposes are also walking along with us as a part of His covenants and His presence, for we are the chosen representatives of His Kingdom! This is true of us as long as we are sons of God who are led by His Spirit, and who continue walking in all the ways of the Lord, keeping His Word and obeying the new principles of the Kingdom of God in the earth for this new Day (Deut. 5:33, 13:4 & Ro. 8:14). Then, every place whereon the soles of our feet shall tread shall be ours. And since it is ours by right of inheritance as representatives of the Kingdom of God, every place where we walk also belongs to the Lord and to His Kingdom! We are thus claiming that area, by the Spirit, and are marking it out for judgment unto correction and full restoration in the blessed and holy Kingdom of our Father!

The Promised Land of the Kingdom of God is Just Ahead of Us
The Lord’s covenants to Israel in the past applies to His elect in the kingdom of God today. Just as the Lord set before Israel a promised land in the past, so also has He set before His people today a greater promised land in this new Day. And the promised land for us today is the glorious fullness of the Kingdom of God on this earth! It is this earth which, in the purposes of God, shall become the new earth of our Father’s promise and purpose (see Is. 65:17, 2 Pet. 3:13 & Rev. 21:1). Therefore, this word given to Israel in the past applies to us today: “For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves. Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you” (Deut. 11:22-25).

Once the Lord has fully prepared and formed an elect remnant in the earth, who do only His pure and perfect will, then the sovereign purposes of the Kingdom of God will continue to be fulfilled in all the earth. When we individually and corporately commit to doing only and always the will of our Father on earth, “Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.” The Kingdom of God is a spiritual Kingdom, which has as its goal the total and complete subduing and vanquishing of all the kingdoms of man and the enemies of the Lord, including Satan and all evil, all wars and all sin, including death, which is declared to be the last enemy (see Ps. 8:6, 1 Cor. 15:25, Eph. 1:22 & Heb. 2:6).

Some seem to think that since the Kingdom of God is a spiritual Kingdom, that it only has to do with spiritual things. But the Kingdom of God also includes every aspect of our lives in this world and the next, including the living conditions on this earth. God is vitally concerned about the corruption in government and in corporations, the prevalence of sin and evil, the poor of this world, and the righteousness, or the lack of it, among all the people on earth. And it is His declared, sovereign purpose to eliminate all evil, all wars, all poverty, all injustices, all of man’s inhumanity to man, as well as sin, sickness and death. God will judge and correct all things in this world, by the power of His omnipotent, Kingdom reign, until all things everywhere are conformed to His Kingdom standard of holiness and righteousness! When the Kingdom of God has fully come to earth, the Lord God omnipotent will be involved in every area of our lives. He will change others and everything in this world, as He replaces the corrupt systems of this world with His righteous dominion. And we will all greatly rejoice when we see the results and benefits of His absolute, sovereign reign!

The Lord promised Moses that all the land whereon he walked would be his. When Moses died, that same promise was extended to Joshua (Jos. 1:1-7). And that promise becomes ours also by right of inheritance in the Kingdom of our Father, as it is written, “In whom also WE HAVE OBTAINED AN INHERITANCE, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory” (Eph. 1:11-14).

The true inheritance for the remnant of Israel, which we are, is the Kingdom of God on earth. The Kingdom of God was Father’s eternal purpose from the beginning of the ages of man in this world, and will continue until every man and nation is under the dominion of Christ. And His Kingdom is coming to the earth now at the end of the ages of man. Our inheritance was foretold in the scriptures of old, as we read, “Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established. The LORD shall reign for ever and ever” (Ex. 15:17-18). There is a heavenly, spiritual sanctuary where the Lord dwells, and it is to be our dwelling place as well. It is the Lord’s sanctuary, including the throne of our Father and the realm of His dominion, which has as its declared purpose, “The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.”

That realm also is His tabernacle and the holy, heavenly city of the Lord, which is coming down from God out of heaven to this earth (Rev. 21:2). With the coming of that spiritual realm to the earth, heavenly voices will then proclaim: “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God” (Rev. 21:3). This will be the grand fulfillment of the most glorious feast of all, the feast of Tabernacles! And when that heavenly tabernacle, throne and city has fully come to earth, multitudes will worship the Lord as Savior, Lord and King. Then there will be a new earth wherein dwells the pure and perfect righteousness of Christ everywhere and in every person.

As sons of God, we were predestinated (ordained, determined before) according to the sovereign purpose of Him who works all things after the counsel of His own will, to have an inheritance in His Kingdom. We had no choice in the matter! Our Father simply did what He had previously planned and purposed to do with us. And now we are on the spiritual path to our full, royal inheritance in the Kingdom of God. At this point in our walk with God, we have received only the earnest of our inheritance, which is as a down-payment given in advance to assure the full payment of the balance of our inheritance. But when this “purchased possession,” which we are, has been fully redeemed and transformed into the image and likeness of Christ, we shall then receive the fullness of our inheritance in the blessed Kingdom of our Father!

The Lord has graciously opened our spiritual eyes, which are the eyes of our true, spiritual understanding, and has given unto us “the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance (is) in the saints,” (Eph. 1:17-18). Our inheritance is reserved in heaven for us, and it is a promise that is certain to be fulfilled in our behalf. Thus, we read, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time” (1 Pet. 1:3-5).

We have been given a glimpse of our inheritance in our Father’s Kingdom! And this vision is driving us and compelling us to continue pressing onward and upward in the Spirit, as we go through the tests and trials of this present night of spiritual darkness. And now we are believing for and anticipating our ultimate and complete transformation into the full image and likeness of Christ, our pattern and example! The truth is, only fully transformed and manifested sons of God shall rule and reign with Christ in His Kingdom!

It is also a part of our high calling in God to bring forth judgment on the nations of this world. The Psalmist also prophesied the word of the Lord, when he said, “Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight. Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah” (Ps. 9:19-20 & Ecc. 3:18). And Paul also said, “Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world?” (1 Cor. 6:2). By His mighty Spirit, the Lord is judging the nations of the earth, and He is using us to do it! We, the sons of God, are judging the nations by simply BEING what God made us to be! We are to be the righteousness of God in the earth, by our faithful obedience to His revealed Word of Truth! And as the righteousness of God in the earth, we are in the process of being fully qualified to judge the people and the nations of this world.

Man without God, or the man of the flesh, shall not prevail in the earth! God is in the process of causing all mankind to know that they are all flesh; they are all nothing more than men of flesh who manifest the carnality of the old man, Adam, in all the earth. And unchanged people, who manifest the carnality of the flesh, shall not rule and reign in the Kingdom of God! By the righteousness of Christ within us, we are causing others to manifest all that is within them, so that all that is of the flesh shall be judged, changed, restored, transformed and anointed with the Spirit of the living God. Jesus said, “For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad” (Lu. 8:17). So also are we to manifest the qualities and the characteristics of the Lord, which are also within us. For, “he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God” (Jo. 3:21).

If all our deeds are wrought in God, so it is proven that we are doing His pure and perfect will in the earth, then the judgments of the Lord will confirm it to be true. It will also be true of us: “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” (Jo. 14:21). The Lord will manifest Himself to those who keep His word of truth, including the current, revealed Word of the Lord for this new Kingdom Day! And when He does manifest Himself to us, we shall become just like Him, showing forth and manifesting the very fullness of the Life of Christ from within us (2 Cor. 4:10-11)! The sufferings of Christ, which we are now going through during this present midnight hour of spiritual darkness, are working for our good and are also manifest tokens “of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer” (2 Thess. 1:5).

Every person will be judged and their works will be tried to show whether they are of the Spirit or of the flesh (see 1 Cor. 3:13). “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” (Heb. 4:13). The carnal-minded leaders of this world will be judged to show that they are of the flesh and of this world. They shall not prevail; they shall not reign much longer; their earthly kingdoms and worldly dominions shall surely be replaced with the righteous dominion of Christ and His transformed sons! Thus Daniel prophesied, “But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his (carnal man’s) dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him” (Dan. 7:26-27). The great Judge, the mighty One who is true judgment, is now sitting in judgment over the nations. He is beginning to remove man’s dominion, replacing it with His mighty and glorious Kingdom of righteousness, peace and justice. And the Spirit is also saying, “Let My People go, that they may serve Me!”

The prophets prophesied of this new Kingdom Day, and with much spiritual eloquence and divine insight, they foretold of glorious things to come during this great Day. But before any of those glorious things could be fulfilled, our blessed Lord first had to get His people fully changed, renewed by His Spirit, and prepared to do only the will of their Father on earth. Then He would be able to lead them by His Spirit to walk out the new divine order of the kingdom of God on earth. Our Father has an order, a plan and a purpose, not only for us now in this new Kingdom Day, but also for all His people as well as all mankind now and throughout the limitless, eternal future. Those who are fully prepared of the Lord for this new Kingdom Day and all it portends have ceased living and walking in the old obsolete ways of the church order of the past. The elect are now walking and living according to the higher principles of the all-encompassing and all-powerful Kingdom of our Father on this earth. By their faithful obedience, this world shall be changed to become the new earth of His sure and eternal promise.

The New World Order for the New Earth
The coming of the Kingdom of God to the earth is also the coming of an entirely new spiritual order to this earth. The new world order for us today is the new order of the Kingdom of God on earth. There will never be any other permanent order for this world than the Kingdom of God! The present worldly orders of man, which involves conspiracies and other carnal, worldly orders of man, is only temporary. They shall all be replaced with the new world order for all mankind, which is the Kingdom of God in all the earth! And all who truly and fully “see” the Kingdom of God, and the mighty power of the Lord to reign, have ceased voting for man and have given their full allegiance to Christ, the almighty King and Lord of all! With absolute, divine authority and prophetic wisdom, John declared by the Spirit, “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever” (Rev. 11:15).

What an encouraging Word this is! And we may be absolutely certain that this anointed and living Word of God shall surely be fulfilled in Father’s time and according to His almighty purpose and all-knowing wisdom. Not one word of our Father’s anointed and living, prophetic truth shall ever fail to be fulfilled! And the Kingdom of God, including the throne of the Lord, the tabernacle of God and the new Jerusalem city of the Lord, is Father’s realm of authority, power and glory by which He shall fulfill all His Kingdom purposes and bring it all to pass throughout the whole earth, as well as throughout the vast expanse of the whole unbounded universe!

Before the anointed, Kingdom Word of the Lord shall be fulfilled, we must go through the remainder of this midnight hour. Then, Father’s time clock may progress and move beyond this midnight hour to the time of the “cockcrowing,” and then to the glorious dawning of the new morning to come (Mk. 13:35). We may have wondered if we could ever survive such a dark, spiritual night as this. But we are surviving; we are making it through this midnight hour, not somehow, but TRIUMPHANTLY! He to Whom the darkness and the light are both alike is keeping us! He has imparted the Light of Christ to us, which is as a lamp unto our feet and a light upon our pathway.

The truth is, many wonderful spiritual experiences took place in the lives of some during previous night-time periods. The Lord appeared to both Isaac and Jacob by night (Ge. 26:24, 28:10). When in the wilderness, Israel was given manna from heaven by night, which would feed and sustain them the next day (Nu. 11:9). The Lord brought Israel out of Egyptian bondage by night (Deut. 16:1). Gideon threw down the altars of Baal at night (Ju. 6:25). And the Lord also appeared to Solomon by night (2 Chro. 1:7, 7:12). Job spoke of songs in the night (Job 35:10). And David said, “Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou has tried me, and shalt find nothing (He will find no failure or decay in us, we are not spiritually worn out); I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress (like Job, we will not accuse God or charge Him foolishly)” (Ps. 17:3, Job 1:22).

And again, David said, “weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” (Ps. 30:5). And, “Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD. The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion” (Ps. 134). The prophet, Isaiah, declared, “With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness” (Is. 26:9). And the prophet also prophesied, “Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel” (Is. 30:29).

Furthermore, the Lord revealed a secret to Daniel during a certain night (Da. 2:19, 7:13). And Jesus walked on the sea at night to be with His disciples (Mt. 14:25). The apostles were released from prison at night by the angel of the Lord (Acts 5:19). And the Lord also spoke to Paul at night (Acts 18:9). Jesus said, “in that night” two men would be in one bed, one of them would be taken and the other left. In other words, it may be during this prophetic night that one man, which is the Adamic man of the flesh, shall be taken from us, leaving the man of the Spirit, which we are, standing on the earth to bring restoration to every man of every nation in this world (Lu. 17:34). We are also told that this may be the last spiritual night of them all; for in that heavenly, Kingdom realm of Spirit, there will be no night there (Rev. 21:25, 22:5).

May these “night-time” experiences involving Godly people of faith and destiny, as well as other events by night, inspire us to believe the Lord for great and wonderful things during this night of nights! As we have written a few times before, this midnight hour may also be a designated time, appointed of the Father, for a glorious appearing of our blessed Lord, in the Spirit and by the Spirit. Remember the words of our Lord? “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him” (Mt. 25:6).

The Cry of the Spirit now is, “Let My People Go!”
Can you hear His still, small Voice? The Voice of the Lord is now proclaiming the same Word of release and deliverance that He spoke to Moses on Mt. Sinai. It is also the same Word that was spoken to Pharaoh, who steadfastly resisted the plan and the purpose of the Lord God of Israel. The Lord had called Moses to come up to the top of the mountain, that He might speak with him there. And when Moses saw the burning bush and heard the Voice of God, he turned aside to see that awesome sight! When the Lord had Moses’ attention, He told him to remove his shoes, for the place where he stood was holy ground. Then the Lord introduced Himself to Moses, declaring Himself to be, “the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” When he heard this, Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look on God (Ex. 3:1-6). What a wonderful manifestation of awe, respect and honor Moses showed for His Lord!

The Lord then told Moses of His plan to deliver His people, Israel, out from the bondage of Egypt. God had seen the afflictions of His people and had heard their sorrowful cries for deliverance from their Egyptian taskmasters. So the Lord said to Moses, “I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey” (Ex. 3:8). That “good land” was Israel’s promised land at that time. Today, we, the remnant of Israel also have a Promised Land; it is the Kingdom of our Father that is now coming to the earth. In saying what He did here, the Lord was in essence saying, “Let My people go” (Ex. 5:1). And I am hearing the same Word today! When my mind is still and quiet before the Lord, whether it be at night or in the daytime, I can hear the still, small Voice of my Father, saying, “Let My people go, that they may serve me!” His Voice is a still, small Voice, for God is speaking today only to those who have been prepared of the Father to hear His word and do it!

Just as the Lord called Moses to come up to the top of Mt. Sinai to meet with Him there, so also is He calling His faithful elect to come up to Mt. Zion, to meet with Him and commune with Him there. But to stand before the Lord on the heights of Mt. Zion, in the Spirit and by the Spirit, we will have to remove our “shoes, as He leads us. And we will do so out of humility, honor and respect for our loving and merciful, heavenly Father. Then, He will commit to us His mighty Word of authority and power, and will make us partners with Him in bringing deliverance to His captive people in typical “Egypt” today, which is a type of the worldly systems of man. (Please see page two of our July 2002 booklet regarding the spiritual meaning of “shoes.”)

The mighty Lord God of Israel will have His elect, including the Christians of this world, and all mankind as well, to be free of the bondages of the world’s corrupt systems! And we must be free FIRST, before any others may be set free, for we are the Lord’s firstfruits! And as the Lord’s firstfruits we are called of our Father to be the pattern and example for the rest of the world of mankind. Moses was taken out from among the royal, ruling family of Egypt, out of the land of Egypt and away from his Israelite family, that he might become a firstfruits of what the Lord was yet going to do with all Israel. So also have we been called out of the world, and out of the carnal, worldly, Babylonish systems of man, that we might become a kind of firstfruits of the rest of mankind and the whole creation (Ja. 1:18). We must be free ourselves from the deceptive bondages of the corrupt worldly systems of Babylon. Not only must we be entirely free in Christ, but we must be spiritually carried away by the Spirit into future realms with God, in the Spirit and by the Spirit, for we are to BE all that the world of mankind shall yet become in the Kingdom of our Father! In other words, we must represent the future in God, not the dead past! And the future in the Spirit is seen in the glory, the power and the authority of the Kingdom of God on earth!

When the Lord purposed to set His people free from Egyptian bondage He called Moses up to the top of the mountain. There, the Lord revealed Himself; He appeared to Moses, and called him to deliver His people, Israel. Through mighty signs and wonders, the Lord manifested His power through Moses, which was the power Moses would use to deliver Israel from that bondage. No other person in Israel knew of that power, as Moses did, not even Aaron, Moses’ brother and partner. I can imagine that when Moses saw a manifestation of the power of God through himself, he was then persuaded that God could indeed deliver Israel out of the bondage of Egypt. But no one else knew of that mighty power of God. When Moses went up the mountain to meet with God, and stayed longer than the people thought he should, they called on Aaron to build them a golden calf. They got tired of waiting and could not identify with spiritual things, especially new things they had never witnessed before, so they demanded to have something earthly, something tangible, something that could be seen and touched, something like a golden calf.

So it is today! When we tell of the Kingdom of God, of its newness and uniqueness, and of its holy and awesome power and authority, there are always those carnal-minded ones among us who will try to bring it down to the low level of human understanding. Or, they will try, as many are doing now, to make the blessed and holy Kingdom of God conform to the old, outdated and time-worn principles of church order and of the dead, obsolete church system. But God has called His elect to higher realms in Him! The church order of the past will not fit in with the new and higher principles of the fullness of the holy and righteous Kingdom of God! And unless we see and understand the Kingdom of God to be something holy and righteous, something beyond what we have experienced in the past, and something new and fresh from God, we will only attempt to bring His Kingdom down to the low level of human understanding; we will then try to pervert it and mix it with the old church order of the past; we will try to build another golden calf! But the golden calf was a violation of God’s purpose in Moses’ day, just as it is in this new, Kingdom Day! How important it is for us to take off our “shoes,” cease walking as we did yesterday and begin walking in the new order of the Spirit and power of the blessed Kingdom of our Father on earth! We are called to represent the future, not the dead past!
God would have us to be free of religious Babylon and of the corruption of the entire church system. We must not only be free of Babylon’s religion, but of the teachings and the influence of her carnal-minded leaders as well. The whole world is corrupted by the many false doctrines of the church system. Therefore, we must be totally free of it all! The Lord would also have us to be completely free of the political-governmental realm of Babylon, which is responsible for bringing this present state of man’s misrule to the world. All who fully see and understand the greater power, authority and influence of the Kingdom of God now in the earth have ceased their participation in the corrupt, Babylonish works of man in this world. They are totally committed wholly and entirely to Christ, the great King of kings and Lord of lords, and to His righteous dominion in all the earth.

It is impossible for those who are giving their blind allegiance to man, by continuing to vote for man and man’s governments, to have any part in the holy and righteous Kingdom of our Father. Those who shall reign with Christ are no longer participating in the corrupt reign of man in this world! The Lord has declared His name to be Jealous, and that He is a jealous God (Ex. 34:14). And He is jealous of our participation in the Babylon world systems! If we are to reign with Christ, we must support Him whole-heartedly, and Him alone, not the politicians of the great harlot system, known as Babylon!

A World Leader Created by God to be a Vessel of Wrath to Resist the Will and Purpose of the Lord
One of the great mysteries of God and of His Word is that the Lord created evil and darkness (Is. 45:7). Such a truth makes no sense to us; but it is the wisdom of God, which confounds the mighty and the wise of this world (1 Co. 1:27). It is also true that the Lord made a man in Moses’ day, a man created by God to resist His will. That man, who was the leader of Egypt, was Pharaoh. It is written of him, “For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth” (Ro. 9:15-17). Our sovereign Lord of all had a purpose in doing what He did with Pharaoh; it was that His power to bring His people out of that captivity might be shown through Moses, and that His Name should be declared throughout the whole earth. Multitudes in the world know the story of Moses versus Pharaoh, and of God’s will versus the will of the Egyptian authority!

Pharaoh had no choice in the matter, and neither have we. The will, the plan and the purpose of God is not based on our will or anyone else’s will. We may will or desire to do something great for the Lord, but our will has nothing to do with God’s sovereign plan and purpose. Nor is the will, plan and purpose of God determined by a person who is running, working and laboring to do something for God. The calling and election of the Lord is strictly up to the Lord and to Him alone! Whom He calls and chooses is not determined by “him that runneth.” You can run and work all you want to, but the Lord is not obligated to honor your work or mine. The Lord alone shall determine who will serve Him and who will resist His will, plan and purpose!

By that same spiritual understanding and principle, the Lord made Pharaoh the way He did and for the purpose which He declared. And no man has the right to question the work of the Lord! He is the master Potter! He has the power and the authority over this lump of clay, which we are, and which also represents all mankind. The Lord can take one small lump of clay, which is this humanity, or this flesh, and He can make it either into a vessel of honor or a vessel of dishonor, according to His will, plan and purpose. And neither the vessels of honor nor the vessels of dishonor have anything to say about the type of vessel God made them to be. It is all determined by the sovereign authority and wisdom of God! If He wants to make His wrath known in the world, as well as His mighty power, God will endure “with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory” (Ro. 9:22-23).

Pharaoh was a vessel of dishonor and a vessel of wrath fitted or completed for destruction. He violently opposed God’s plan to deliver the nation of Israel and bring them out from the bondage of Egypt. As a vessel of wrath fitted to destruction, Pharaoh could do nothing else but resist God and His plan of deliverance. Pharaoh had no choice as to whether he would be a vessel of mercy or a vessel of wrath. God made him to be a vessel of wrath fitted to destruction, and all Pharaoh could do was to resist God and attempt to destroy His plans for His people, Israel. Yet, the Voice of the Spirit at that time fervently and positively declared the message of hope for His people, which was, “Let My people go!”

Today is a similar day with the same purpose in God, which is to deliver His people out from the bondage of the world’s systems and release them into the glorious freedom and victory of the Kingdom of God. And just as Pharaoh was raised up by God to resist the plan and purpose of the Lord in that day, so also has the Lord raised up another governmental leader in this Day, who is also resisting the plan and purpose of our Father. The leader the Lord has raised up today to resist His will is our president, George W. Bush. (Read again our March 2002 booklet.) As I reported previously, the Lord spoke to me, telling me that Mr. Bush was “a wolf in sheep’s clothing, a vessel of dishonor and a vessel of wrath fitted for destruction” (see Ro. 9:21-22).

The Word of the Lord in Ro. 9:21-22, is the same word that God gave concerning Pharaoh of old. And, just as it was God’s plan and purpose to set His people free in that day, so also is it His sovereign purpose to set His people free today. And, just as the Lord raised up Pharaoh to resist His plan and purpose then, so also has he raised up Mr. Bush to resist His plan and purpose today. This is not about politics, anymore than God’s Word regarding Pharaoh in Romans, chapter nine is about politics! This truth is the Word of the Lord for His elect to hear in this new Day! The Lord God almighty has set up similar circumstances or conditions in the world today, just as He did when He purposed to deliver Israel out of Egyptian bondage. And just as Pharaoh was thoroughly and soundly defeated at the Red Sea, so also shall our present “pharaoh” and his co-conspirators with him be thoroughly defeated here in our beloved nation by the Lord God omnipotent Who reigns!

The term “vessels of wrath,” as used in Romans 9:22, refers to a leader who with anger, indignation, vengeance, or wrath strongly desires and reaches out with violent passion to do what he wants to do in the world. With some anger, indignation, vengeance or wrath, our president strongly desires, and reaches out with violent passion, to wage war in this world. God created him to do this at this time, and he will succeed in waging war in this world if, when and as long as God wants him to. It is my firm conviction that America is destined to be the birth place of many more Divine purposes. But this nation is far from being ready to do such a holy thing! Repentance must reach many more people in this nation before we will see the plan of God for her fulfilled. Not until there is weeping in true, deep and honest repentance in the lives of many more people in this nation will we see the plan of God for us begin to be fulfilled.

Wars and rumors of wars, along with unemployment and a poor economy, will be our lot, because of the vessel of wrath who now rules our country. These conditions will continue until that time when many more shall bow humbly before their Maker, acknowledging Him as their Savior, Lord and King! The cry of the Spirit now is: “LET MY PEOPLE GO, that they may serve Me!” And your Father and mine is bringing forth judgment in our nation to correct us and turn many among us back to Him! Then, our loving and merciful Father will eliminate our present “pharaoh,” and will move mightily by His Spirit to deliver His people out of this bondage!

With mighty signs and wonders the Lord brought forth His people out of Egyptian bondage. And, just as the Lord delivered His people in history with great power and authority, so will He deliver us today! When we are fully set free we will not go out empty-handed, but will go forth with the abundant wealth and the rich treasures of the Kingdom of God, which is His Life in fullness! Then there will not be one feeble person among us, for we will all be just like Him! Father remembers His chosen ones; He will bring them out of bondage with joy and gladness, and will give them their full inheritance. May this scripture encourage us in our walk with Him and be a blessing to us at this time:

“He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them. He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night. The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven. He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river. For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant. And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness: And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people; That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD” (Ps. 105:37-45). Believe the Lord and trust Him! He is moving in the earth to bring us into our inheritance in His Kingdom!
