THESE ARE THEY ...

Part Ten
August 2004

The chosen elect of the Lord are going through a set of processings, which will transform them and prepare them to rule and reign with Christ from their Father’s throne of almighty power and authority. It is a process that includes the more difficult tests and trials of this life, which are called in scripture, “great tribulation.” It is that specific set of tests and trials that are uniquely designed for the processing of the elect! It is written of them, “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them” (Rev. 7:14-15). That “great tribulation” may be a period of tests and trials for the whole world, but it essentially is that specific set of trials that will bring all true sons of God to the fullness of Christ, to be transformed into His glorious image and heavenly likeness.

All who are true sons of their Father and who are destined to achieve His fullness are going through that “tribulation” process, which will make us what our Father wants us to be! There is no escaping the mighty Hand of the Lord’s discipline in our lives, which will bring us to sonship fulfilled. And while the scriptures make it clear that the elect shall fully experience that which is called “great tribulation,” the Word of the Lord also declares, with absolute certainty, that we shall also come out of that “great tribulation” with our “robes” of this flesh thoroughly and completely washed and made white “in the blood of the Lamb!” Not only will we come out of this “great tribulation” with our robes of this flesh cleansed and purified, but we shall also be elevated to the throne of our Father, to serve Him day and night in His temple and reign with Him! Just as certain as it is that we shall suffer with Christ, so also is it equally certain that we shall reign with Him (2 Tim. 2:12)!

The Beatitudes of Jesus Lead to the Kingdom
The first Beatitude of Jesus promises that the “poor in spirit” shall receive the Kingdom of heaven (Mt. 5:3). And those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake are also promised the kingdom of heaven (vs. 10). The Kingdom of Heaven, therefore, is the goal for all who are appointed of our Father to experience the Beatitudes, along with all the blessings which they promise and provide. It is our Father’s good pleasure to give us the Kingdom! But to make the transition from church teachings and church order, we must experience some radical changes in our thinking and in our spiritual understanding. The first thing we need to understand is that the old, dead church order is over, and the new and higher principles of the Kingdom of God are now in effect. A new order, the Kingdom order, has come and is coming down from God out of Heaven to the earth, requiring that we make the transition, from church teachings and church order, to the new order and the greater and higher principles of the Kingdom of God on earth.

This present time of spiritual darkness in the world does not confirm to us the truth that a new and better age has come to the earth. This era of war, trouble, spiritual darkness and sorrows of every kind are not what we would expect to take place during the new and more spiritual age of the Kingdom of God on earth. But we are sons of God who are growing spiritually to the maturity of sonship fulfilled. Therefore, we will also realize that world conditions have little to do with spiritual realities. That which takes place in the Spirit realm, or in the Kingdom of God, has nothing to do with present world conditions. Spiritual people will see and understand spiritual truths and spiritual events. The worldly-minded, on the other hand, will not be able to see beyond worldly conditions or situations. God gives His Word, which may be contrary to existing conditions on earth, thus confusing and mystifying the wise of this world. But the spiritually wise will be mature enough to believe the Word of God in spite of the present, contrary conditions in the world. No matter how it looks, the principles of the Kingdom of God are now in effect and are ruling in all the earth! And we will also know, by the wisdom of the mind of Christ and the truth of His word, that the present new Heavens of Spirit shall change the world in the fullness of time, to fulfill the anointed, prophetic Word of our Father.

For the Lord to introduce a new age in the earth at a time of spiritual darkness is not unusual or without precedent. One good example we have of this truth in history is when Jesus was sent to the earth to introduce the Kingdom of God in its initial form. That was the coming of the Kingdom of God to dwell within us. During His earthly ministry, Jesus said, “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you” (Lu. 17:20-21). Since the Kingdom does not come with observation, or by seeing it literally and naturally, we know we cannot look with our literal, natural eyes to see that the Kingdom of God is coming to the earth. Rather, we must look into the realm of Spirit to “see,” with anointed and spiritual “eyes,” that the Kingdom of God has indeed come to the earth in the next phase of its earthly manifestation. When Jesus was born to begin His ministry on earth, it was also a time of much spiritual darkness; that day may be comparable to this present, midnight hour! The Romans ruled and oppressed the Lord’s people in that day, just as carnal, evil rulers are oppressing God’s people today! And, a new Day always begins at evening time (Gen. 1:5, 8, 13, 19, 23, & 31), which is the beginning of a time of spiritual darkness in the earth.

During the church age, it was Father’s purpose to call out an elect remnant (Is. 10:22, Rom. 11:5), who would be dedicated exclusively to the Lord and His Kingdom purposes (Acts 15:16-18). Those elect, or His remnant, were to be separate from the world and its corrupt systems, which are called Babylon in scripture. While they were being led and guided by the principles of the church, those elect were brought under the dominion of Christ, to be ruled, judged or governed by the Lord. One of the main purposes of the church order was to bring all who were true members of His church, or members of His body, under the dominion of Christ, their Head, Lord and King, so that Christ would reign completely in their lives. This was to take place during the church age, and it has!

The Psalmist predicted this, when he said, “Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son. He shall judge (or rule) thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment” (Ps. 72:1-2). And, “The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth” (Ps. 110:1-3, see also Mt. 2:6). The Lord has established His reign over His true Church, ruling His people willingly or with their consent. Then, when He has reigned in their lives completely, every enemy within them, including their own stubborn will, shall be put under His feet, thus putting an end to the carnal mind and the Adamic will, which was within them. When we are finally and fully set free from old Adam’s bondage, we shall come forth “in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning,” born again of the Spirit and endued and refreshed with “the dew of thy youth!” Then the Lord will extend His reign to include all men and all nations, providing that same full salvation to all!

The Psalmist declared that the Lord would reign, until He made all His enemies His footstool. The Lord makes His enemies His footstool by reigning over them! He brings His enemies and ours into His Kingdom by sending the rod of His strength out of Zion, to rule and reign in the midst of those enemies. And when Christ rules and reigns over His enemies, their power is negated; they are powerless to resist the power and authority of the reign and dominion of Christ. Then, every enemy will surrender to Christ! They have all seen the power and the authority of His dominion, for He has reigned successfully over His elect. The evidence of the successful reign of Christ will be made manifest when every true son of God walks obediently, according to the revealed will and the Kingdom plans and purposes of our loving and merciful Father! They will all serve and obey Him willingly in the day of His power! And unless Christ reigns over us completely and brings every enemy within us under His dominion, there is no proof anywhere that the reign of Christ is successful! But, thank God, we are His witnesses, showing clearly and distinctly the complete and successful power and authority of the reign of Christ in our lives!

With these truths in mind, we can see that Father’s plan for the church was to call out a people for His Name and then to rule and reign over that people completely, so that every enemy within us is put under His feet. And when that Divine purpose is fulfilled, the new order of the Kingdom of God will begin to come to the earth, which is taking place now, changing everything and bringing forth those new spiritual Heavens, which shall guide us into the new and higher ways of the Kingdom of God on earth. This began to take place during the previous “evening time” of spiritual darkness, and has continued to this present midnight hour! When we are completely and entirely under His dominion, with no enemies left within us, the reign of Christ will increase and spread to include all men and all nations. The scriptures also indicate that some enemies must be destroyed so that Zion may give birth to the sons of God (see Is. 66:6-9). In the fullness of time, the Lord will reign over the nations, just as He has reigned over us, to bring every enemy in the world under His dominion. Then there will be no enemies left anywhere in all the earth. And there also will be true and lasting peace, even the Peace of Christ, in all the universe, for His glory and honor!

By the reign of Christ every enemy will be defeated! Then Paul declared, by the Spirit: “Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For he "has put everything under his feet." Now when it says that "everything" has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all” (1 Cor. 15:24-28, NIV).

The Kingdom of God is not of this world! What does that mean? One thing it means is that the Kingdom of God does not increase and is not advanced in the world and among mankind by worldly means. Under church order, we were to go to the nations to witness to them, by teaching them and preaching to them, and by demonstrating the power of God to them. But under Kingdom order, we do not go to the nations to preach to them, or demonstrate the power of God to them, for the seven Spirits of the Lord will do all the work in the earth! In the beginning of the book of Revelation, we read this introduction from John, given by the Spirit, “Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne” (Rev. 1:4). Notice that at the beginning of this Revelation the seven Spirits of God are before the throne of the Lord.

Then later, we read, “And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God SENT FORTH INTO ALL THE EARTH” (Rev. 5:6). The seven Spirits of God, which once were “before His throne,” shall be sent forth into all the earth with the prevailing, controlling and dominating power of the Lamb! Christ, the Lamb, has prevailed! He Who was slain for the sins of the world came forth victorious over all things! In His victory, Christ then took the “book” that no man was able to open, which may be the prophetic Book of the mysteries and the eternal purposes of our Father, and He opened that book, thus initiating the fulfillment of all His Kingdom plans and purposes for this world! And when the seven Spirits of the Lord were sent forth into all the earth, that also was the fullness of the Kingdom of God coming to the earth, to defeat every enemy and put them all under the feet of this many-membered Christ!

There is another very distinct difference between the old church order of the past and the new and greater order of the Kingdom of God on earth. Under the old, previous order, the church was to be separate from the world. Or, the church was to be separate from the state! The church was to be governed by its spiritual leaders, while the world was to be governed by another group of leaders, who were to be chosen from the world. But in the new age of the Kingdom of God on earth, THE WHOLE WORLD IS TO BE GOVERNED BY CHRIST, THE KING, AND HIS CO-KINGS WITH HIM! With the coming of the throne realm of the Kingdom of God to the earth, Christ will indeed be THE KING OF ALL OTHER KINGS AND THE LORD OF ALL OTHER LORDS! And when Christ is the King of kings, He then is the supreme ruler; He is “the blessed and ONLY Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords” (1 Tim. 6:15). Whereas our vision once was to save a few people out of the world under church order, our vision now must be the restoration, the renewal and the full salvation of the whole world of fallen mankind! This is why our Father has given us the great truth of the salvation of all! He did not give us this great truth just so we could have something new to teach, or preach, or write about! But He gave us this great truth that we might enlarge our vision and then devote our lives to the greater Cause of the Kingdom of God on earth!

To transition from church order, which was a more worldly order, into the new order of the Kingdom of God on earth, which is an entirely new, spiritual order, we will have to learn to enter into the REST of the Lord, and let the seven Spirits of God do the work of the Lord in all the earth!
Man’s day is over! No more shall man minister to the people, to bring forth a spiritual harvest! This is the beginning of the great Day of the full reign of the Christ over all the earth! The seven Spirits of God shall gather in the harvest of the earth! And they will do the work that man could never do, for the seven Spirits of the Lord are God in all His glorious fullness! That will be God at His best; it is God in the beauty of His perfection; it is God in all His fullness and in all His completeness! During the church order, it was the inpartness, the incompleteness and the imperfection of God and man working together! But in the Kingdom of God, IT WILL BE GOD ALL THE WAY! It will be God only, in His Holiness and Perfection, moving in all the earth to fulfill His pure and holy Word and do all His will!

The prophet of the Lord saw this Day, and then prophesied, saying, “BEHOLD, A King will reign in righteousness, and princes (that’s us) will rule with justice. And each one of them shall be like a hiding place from the wind and a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land [to those who turn to them]. Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed or dimmed, and the ears of those who hear will listen” (Is. 32:1-3, AMP). In that Day, the heavenly voices will then be heard, saying, “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever” (Rev. 11:15). Each of those co-kings, who rule and reign with Christ from their Father’s throne of all power, shall be like the chief and original King, our blessed and glorified Lord Jesus Christ! As Christ, the Head, is “like a hiding place from the wind and a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land,” so also shall we be LIKE HIM, for we shall see Him as He is! Then, the spiritual eyes and ears of those who could not see and hear shall be opened by the Spirit, enabling them to “see” and “hear” in a way they never have been able to in the past. And in seeing and hearing the completed and glorified Christ of God, they shall rise to walk in newness of Life, which is the Life of Christ and the more abundant Life of the Kingdom of God!

Blessed are Those Who are Persecuted for Righteousness’ Sake
The last of the Beatitudes reads as follows, “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you” (Matt. 5:10-12). Luke’s account gives that verse this way: “Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets” (Lu. 6:22-23). In the world and by worldly standards, when we are hated and reproached, we may try to amend our ways and make changes in our personalities, to correct ourselves in the eyes of the world. But in the Kingdom of God, we are told to rejoice when we are hated and persecuted for righteousness’ sake. We are to rejoice and “leap for joy” when we are persecuted for the cause of Christ, for we shall have a great reward in Heaven, or in the realm of Spirit. Our persecution is comparable to that of the true prophets of the Lord in history, and our reward in the Kingdom of God will be the same as theirs!

According to the words of Jesus, those who walk obediently and faithfully with the Lord shall be persecuted. They also shall be reviled, unjustly accused, and will have all manner of evil said of them falsely, because of their high calling in Christ! These prophetic words of Jesus are most surely being fulfilled in the lives of all who are among the called, chosen and elect saints of the Lord today. As we go through these trials, our blessed Lord advised us to “Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” If the prophets of the Lord, who were before us in time, were persecuted for righteousness’ sake, we should not think it strange that we are also being persecuted for the cause of Christ and His Kingdom! When we understand that we are being treated the same as the true prophets of the Lord were in history, we will “Rejoice, and be exceeding glad,” knowing that our reward in heaven, or in the Kingdom realm of Spirit, will indeed be great!

If we are obediently walking with the Lord according to His perfect will, we shall be persecuted! That is a fact of our spiritual walk and life in this world. And some of that persecution may come from close family members. Referring to the time prior to the reign of Christ to bring Peace to the earth, Jesus said this about our families, or those of our own household: “Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to part asunder a man from his father, and a daughter from her mother, and a newly married wife from her mother-in-law– And a man's foes will be they of his own household. [Mic 7:6.] He who loves [and takes more pleasure in] father or mother more than [in] Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves [and takes more pleasure in] son or daughter more than [in] Me is not worthy of Me; And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conforming wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also] is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his [lower] life will lose it [the higher life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the higher life]” (Mt. 10:34-39, see also vss. 24-25, AMP).

By the “the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Eph. 6:17), the Lord is separating one family member from other family members. He is also, by that same spiritual sword of His Word, separating one friend from other friends, as the Lord calls forth a faithful and obedient remnant! These kind of things have taken place throughout the church age, and will continue to occur during these present transition days. Then, when the Kingdom has fully come to the earth, the Peace of Christ shall reign everywhere and in every life. But for now, those whom Father has called out from the world, from churches, fellowships and groups, and from friends and family members, will, each and all, be willing to take up their individual cross and die if need be! They will conform to His example and be willing to pay the price for the high calling of God in Christ! My earnest prayer is that we will all find that “higher life,” by being willing to lose this “lower life,” despite the persecution from friends and family members, which we may be called upon to endure! Whatever befalls us on this “walk,” it will be worth it all!

More Qualifying Marks of the Elect
The Word of the Lord has also declared of the elect, “And THESE ARE THEY which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred” (Mk. 4:20). If your heavenly Father has called you and separated you unto Himself, thus designating you to be one of His chosen and elect sons of God, then it is also absolutely certain that you are receiving every revealed Word of the Lord. That word was sown by the Lord of the harvest into the “good ground” of your well-prepared and fertile ground, which is your innermost being, or your very heart and soul. Then, having heard the Word, the elect of the Lord will receive it, and will bring forth that spiritual fruit, which is the result of the anointed, powerful, creative and self-fulfilling Word of our Father.

In the realm of Christendom, there are all manner and levels of believers, from the low level of carnal, church order “Christians,” to the higher level of those who are among the elect and chosen ones. According to the parable of Jesus, which we quoted above, there are at least four levels or realms of believers. And each of those levels of believers can also be seen among those who have heard the call to sonship. The first, or the largest realm of believers, are those who heard the Word by the “way side.” But as soon as they heard the Word, Satan took away that Word, which was sown in their hearts (Mk. 4:15). The second level of believers are those who heard the Word upon the stony ground of their unprepared hearts, and who received that Word immediately and with gladness. But when persecution arose because of that Word, they became offended, and stumbled and fell away (Mk. 4:16-17).

The third group, including Christians and those who hope to become sons, heard the Word that was sown “among the thorns.” They heard the Word, but “the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things” entered into their lives, choking the Word and making that Word unfruitful (Mk. 4:18-19). In each of those three elementary realms of believers, not one true, fruit-bearing son was found among them. Only one group, the fourth or last group, received the Word of God and obeyed that holy, anointed Word of our Father. The last of the four groups, were true, obedient, faithful and fruitful sons. Jesus said, “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Mt. 7:20-21). True sons of God are known by their obedience and their fruit, not by their high-sounding prayers or their tear-jerking, personal testimonies!

The Lord also said of them, “these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.” “These are they..” who are the only believers who are fruitful sons at this time, in the Kingdom of their Father! And may we be among those true, faithful and fruitful sons in the glorious Kingdom of our Father! Some of them were either thirty fold or sixty fold fruitful sons in the Kingdom of God, while the rest of those true sons bore fruit at the rate one hundred fold.

Jesus said, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing” (John 15:4-5). The branch of any fruit tree cannot bear fruit of itself! Only as the branch of a tree is attached to the tree, so it is drawing life from the tree, can that branch bring forth fruit. In the same way, we cannot bear fruit unless we are securely joined to the Tree or the Vine of Christ. How true are the words of Jesus: “without me ye can do nothing.” We cannot bear spiritual fruit of ourselves! We must be joined to Christ, the Vine! AND THE ELECT ARE DWELLING OR ABIDING IN CHRIST; WE ARE JOINED TO HIM as a branch is joined to a tree! Therefore, we are bringing forth the fruit of the Spirit, according to the will of our Father for us at this time. The truth for us now is, “He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit.”

The Lord also said of His elect and chosen ones, “THESE ARE THEY which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins” (Rev. 14:4). The book of Revelation is a spiritual book. It is the book of the unveiling or the revelation of Jesus Christ. In that book, the Christ is revealed and seen in all the many aspects of Himself, including Christ the Body! To be a “member” of the Christ body, we must not be defiled with the harlot “women” of the church system; we must be spiritual “virgins.” Babylon is the great harlot mentioned in the book of Revelation. And Babylon is the name given by the Spirit to man’s systems in this world, including the church system. That harlot “woman” represents the religious, denominational, church systems that may have started by the moving of the Spirit, but which were taken over, to be operated and manipulated by man. Babylon represents the confusion of anything that is done as a result of the carnal, soulish mind and nature of man! Religious Babylon is the result of man’s soulish mind that has replaced Christ, the Head, which is the mind of the Spirit! That great harlot, Babylon, represents the confusion of man’s leadership, which has brought confusion to the church system, and all the other systems of this world.

We also have this word given of the Spirit by the prophet Isaiah: “As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths” (Is. 3:12). All indications are that Israel’s “oppressors” in that day were men. But they were men who had the immature leadership abilities of babes and children. They were male rulers who were led and guided by their sinful and lustful mistresses, rather than their own God-given wisdom. That is why the word “women” is used in the above scripture. This was true with Ahab and Jezebel. Sinful and idolatrous Jezebel had a very strong influence over her husband, King Ahab, which negatively affected his reign in Judah. Jezebel then, represents the harlot spirit of confusion and idolatry, which troubled Ahab and the people of Judah at that time.

Jezebel also opposed Elijah, the true prophet of the Lord, and threatened to kill him because of his spirit and his message of truth. She also killed other true prophets of the Lord. In spiritual type, Jezebel is that teaching and spirit that seduces the servants of the Lord, causing them to commit fornication and eat things sacrificed to idols. It is an evil spirit that would lead some Christians into the error and deception of self-seeking and self-love! But true sons will not be deceived! That Jezebel spirit was tolerated by the church in Thyatira (Rev. 2:20). And Jesus referred to that Jezebel teaching and spirit as “the depths of Satan” (Rev. 2:24).

Another similar, prophetic word given by Isaiah, is this: “And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach” (Is. 4:1). This could be true literally, for there may be more woman than men on earth today. However, the Bible is a spiritual book, so we must look for a spiritual interpretation of this verse, to understand it as the Lord intended it to be interpreted. Today, seven women are trying to take hold of one Man, spiritually speaking. That one Man is our Lord Jesus Christ, while the “seven women” represent the fullness of the present religious, denominational church systems in the world today. The church system and the religious denominations of man today would like to “take hold” of Jesus Christ, to be called by His Name. They would do this to avoid the reproach of not having a “husband,” or not being joined to the Lord.

The church system wants His Name on their churches, but they refuse to eat the true Bread of Christ and wear the spiritual apparel of true disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ! They also want to take His Name so they can deceive Christians into thinking that they minister His truth! But they want to eat their own bread and wear their own apparel, which represents their own doctrines, rather than the truth of Christ, as well as their own denominational characteristics and identity, instead of the identity of Christ, the Lord.. They will not eat that true, spiritual Bread of Christ, which brings believers to the full stature of Christ, nor will they wear the true spiritual apparel of sincere, Spirit-filled and Spirit-led believers, whose lives are being transformed by the Lord of glory!

Furthermore, the church system and the religious denominations of man have a history of rejecting every true visitation or outpouring of the Spirit! And, with the passing of time, they have not gotten any better; they have only gotten worse! The religious systems of man and of this world, because of their anti-Christ spirit and nature, will also reject every future outpouring of the Spirit of the Lord that Father sends to the earth. The mind of man that governs the church system is directly opposed to any new revelation, as well as any new truth that is given by the Spirit. Their numerous false doctrines will prevent them from accepting and receiving Christ, when He appears! No wonder the cry of the Spirit to all His apprehended ones continues to be, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Rev. 18:4).

But there are other women in scripture, who are examples for us in our walk with the Lord. One of them is described as the “fairest among women” in the Song of Solomon (6:1). She represents the Bride of Christ, while “thy beloved” in that same verse, refers to Christ, the Bridegroom. The Lord has been and is now raising up Christ, the Bridegroom, of which all the elect, or all true sons of God, are a part. As the elect of the Lord, we also are the Body of Christ; we also are a part of Christ, the Bridegroom! With this understanding, we can see that it would not be acceptable for either Christ the Bride or Christ the Bridegroom to be defiled with that harlot woman, called Babylon! The true Bride of Christ, as well as the true Body of Christ, shall have no affiliation whatsoever with the typical harlot “woman,” which represents man’s religion and man’s corrupt systems in this world, known prophetically and spiritually as Babylon.

The Bride of Christ must not be “defiled with women.” She must not be defiled with the sins and the lusts of the flesh of that defiled harlot “woman,” called Babylon. She must be a pure and holy virgin, spiritually speaking. Both the (male) Body of Christ, or the Bridegroom, and the (female) Bride of Christ, each in their own due order, must be comprised only of those who have been called out of the world and also out of the church system. Neither Christ, the Bridegroom, nor Christ, the Bride, can be married to another! They must be pure, undefiled spiritual “virgins,” who have not been defiled by man, and who have been cleansed of all other religious or spiritual relationships, to serve the Lord alone! Then Christ the Bridegroom, or the elect sons of God, and Christ the Bride shall be clean, pure and holy, fully prepared for that great event, known in scripture as “the marriage supper of the Lamb” (Rev. 19:7-9).

“THESE ARE THEY which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God” (Rev. 14:4-5). How important it is for us to follow the Lamb wherever He may lead! Whether we follow the Lamb wherever He leads us or do all the will of our Father, we are doing the same thing! Those who are considered by our Father to be worthy of the Kingdom of God will walk faithfully and obediently with Him every step of the way!

The prophet of the Lord prophesied to all who follow the Lord, saying to them: “Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him” (Is. 51:1-2). All who follow the Lord and walk with Him are advised to look to the rock from which we were hewn and to the hole of the pit from which we were dug. The Hebrew word “tsuwr,” used for “rock,” in this verse, refers to any rock or boulder, but it also refers to a refuge. This same Hebrew word, “tsuwr,” is translated to show that God is “my rock.” In Psalm 62:2: “He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.” Therefore, the “rock” we are to look to is that mighty, spiritual Rock, which is God, the Father of all! He it is to Whom we should look, as we journey back to Him!

The prophet Isaiah, by the word of the Lord, declared that we are to look to God, the Rock of our salvation, for we were hewn, cut or taken out of Him. Our spirit came from God; we were hewn or taken out of the Almighty Rock of the Spirit of God! And it is He to whom we are to look! It is written of the death of a person: “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it” (Ecc. 12:7). The Spirit that we are came from God! At our birth, or when we were born of the flesh, we were given a spirit that came from God! The spirit that we are was actually “hewn” out of the great Rock, which God is! And it is to that Rock, which is God in all the many aspects of Himself, to whom we should look! We need to look unto the Rock of God, out of whom we were hewn, to know the way we should take on this spiritual, yet earthly journey back to the Father!

The Word also tells us to look “to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.” The original Hebrew word for “the pit,” means “a pit hole, especially one used as a cistern or a prison.” (From Strong’s Concordance.) When the Lord comes into our lives to save us from the ways of sin and death, and from the carnality of the flesh, “Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from THE PIT, and his life from perishing by the sword” (Job 33:16-18). What is “the pit” from which the Lord has brought us forth, if it is not the pit of the old sinful Adam within us? He is the root cause of the sins of the flesh and of the carnal purposes of sinful man! Daily and continually the Lord keeps our souls from falling back into that pit!

“He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not; He will deliver his soul from going into THE PIT, and his life shall see the light. Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man, To bring back his soul from THE PIT, to be enlightened with the light of the living” (Job 33:27-30). At the dedication of his house, David sang this song: “O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to THE PIT” (Ps. 30:3). Is it not the pit of sin, death and the grave out of which the Lord has brought forth our soul? Out of all the vast humanity of man, our Father chose us, called us out of that Adamic pit, and then planted a seed within us. And that seed is keeping us out of the pit from which we were dug, and is more positively leading us to the abundant Life of Christ in the blessed Kingdom of our Father! And then we are told to look “to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.” Looking to the hole of that pit will keep us humble. It will remind us that we are linked to fallen man and his many sins and iniquities, and also to the earth, for we are partners with God in redeeming, not only all mankind, but the whole earth as well! Every person shall know and experience the full salvation of the Lord, and there shall also be a new earth! Blessed be the Name of the Lord!

It is almost impossible, in these dark and dismal days of spiritual wickedness and evil of every kind and description, to hear the news or witness events in the world around us, and not become overwhelmed with the gross darkness of man. It seems that man’s fleshly, carnal deeds are getting worse and worse, until one would wonder how deep and dark the sins of man can get. Recently, while reflecting on the evil manifestations of the flesh and the carnality of man, I began to travail and mourn before the Lord. I cried out to Him, asking the Lord what I could do to remedy the situation. The Lord assured me again that there is nothing I or anyone else could do to heal man and his many sins and iniquities. Then, as I continued to travail and mourn for the sad plight of fallen man, I asked my Father how long He would allow this wicked and sinful condition to continue. He gave me no direct answer to that question, but my Father spoke just a simple word. He told me that the more I travail and mourn because of the dark sins and the gross wickedness of man, the more He was imparting within me, and also within all other true sons, the spiritual power and authority to bring deliverance to the groaning creation in Father’s time and in His own way! The seven spirits of the Lord are being sent to earth! And where on earth do those seven Spirits go, if it is not to dwell or tabernacle within us in greater fullness?

Let us then be assured of our Father’s plan and purpose! He knows the end from the beginning! He is working toward a glorious end! And that end, that conclusion, that climax, will forever terminate the carnality of man, and bring forth the promised perfect Man, which is man in the image and likeness of Christ! There is nothing anyone can do in the flesh to heal and correct this terrible condition! All that is taking place in our nation and in the world today makes no sense whatsoever! The only thing we know for sure is, “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Eph. 6:12).

Furthermore, this evil will never be brought to the promised end by the old ministries of the past! Only by the ministry, power and authority of the seven Spirits of the Lord will all this evil finally and permanently be arrested and destroyed, never to occur again! Therefore, we will heed Paul’s admonition, which is, “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Eph. 6:13-17).

What is our spiritual armor? It is Truth, Righteousness, the Gospel of peace, Faith, Salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God! All these must be imparted to us by the Spirit, and firmly imbedded within us as our spiritual armor, by that same Spirit! By these, we shall stand, to defeat every enemy and establish the Kingdom of God in all the earth! The Word of God declares that the seven spirits of God are sent forth into all the earth (Rev. 5:6). And where will they be sent, if it is not within us? Indeed, it is within us where the seven spirits of the Lord are being sent, for Father is equipping us with all the spiritual armor necessary to defeat every enemy every where! It will be a new ministry, which is that new, sharp threshing instrument having teeth (Is. 41:15).

We are also told to look unto Abraham, our father in the faith, and to Sarah that bore our forefathers. And what are we to see? We are to see and understand that God called Abraham ALONE, as the only one among many! Of the multitudes of people living at that time, God only called Abraham, and He called him alone! It mattered not what the Lord was doing with others in that day, or if He was doing anything else on earth; He called Abraham alone. And Abraham walked alone with God, obeying His every word and believing for the fulfillment of that Word. Then the Lord blessed Abraham when he followed the call of the Spirit! The Lord also increased Abraham, because of his faithfulness in following Him, making him the father of many nations. And now Abraham is the father of many nations after the flesh, and also the father of many more, who are his descendants by faith in Christ (Gal. 3:29).

We are to look to Abraham, for God will also use us to change the course of this world, from extreme, spiritual darkness to the magnificent Light and Glory of God! The Word of the Lord continues, by saying, “For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody” (Is. 51:3). The Lord is now in the process of comforting Zion and all her waste places. He also will make her wilderness like the Eden of the Spirit, and her deserts as the garden of the Lord. Then Zion shall be full of joy and gladness, thanksgiving and the voice of melody. The Lord would also say to us, “Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings. For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation” (Is. 51:7-8).

In the fullness of time, when Zion is fully restored, when this midnight hour is over and the new morning is dawning, the Lord will say to us, “Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon? Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over? Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away” (Is. 51:9-11). Zion is the arm of the Lord; it is what we are! Therefore, Zion, which we are, is that power of God that “cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon,” typical of Egypt, which represents the powers of this world; it is also Zion, “which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over.” When we grow spiritually to really know who we are in God, we shall also know that mighty power that shall change the world, to bring forth the new Earth, which will be made new by that same power! Indeed, the Redeemed of the Lord are returning to Him. “Everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away!” May this be true for you as we approach that new, Kingdom morning of joy!
