THESE ARE THEY ...

Part Four
February 2004

Father has an elect and chosen remnant today who are being refined in the consuming fires of the presence of the Lord (Heb. 12:29). They are also being cleansed and made white by the blood of the Lamb and the washing of the water of the pure Word of their Father. Our Father, Who is a consuming fire, is burning all the dross out of us, along with the inner, hidden iniquities that would prevent us from rendering just and righteous judgment in the Kingdom of God. The consuming fires of the presence of the Lord most assuredly will cleanse and purify us! If we are His chosen sons and the objects of His Love, it is certain that we are being judged of the Lord, disciplined as His sons (Heb. 12:5-11), and cleansed and purified by our loving and merciful Father. The Lord has many tools with which to purify us and bring us to perfection, including His fiery presence. Yet, the fiery presence of the Lord also goes before us to defeat all our enemies and clear the way for us to enter into the fullness of our Promised Land, which is the new land of the Kingdom of God on earth! How blessed we are to have the Lord and His abiding Presence with us at all times as we climb this last mountain!

When the Lord told Israel to cross the Jordan River, which was then at flood stage and the land on the other side was inhabited by strong, enemy nations, he said to them, “Hear, O Israel: Thou art to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven, A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and of whom thou hast heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak! Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee” (Deut. 9:1-3).

The Kingdom land before us is a pure Land; it is a spiritual Land of innumerable benefits and blessings. The new Kingdom Land before us is much like Israel’s promised land in history. Approaching our new Land of the Kingdom of God as we are, may also parallel Israel’s crossing of the Jordan River. As the land of Canaan was a land flowing with milk and honey, with plenty of rain producing abundant crops bearing much fruit, so also is our new Kingdom Land a Land of an abundance of spiritual fruit. There is enough rich, nutritious, spiritual food in that new Land to feed every person of every nation a spiritual “meal” capable of maturing every person everywhere, from infancy to adulthood, in a moment of time. And that rich, spiritual food comes in ready-to-eat form, so that any and all people, regardless of age, education or intelligence, may partake of it with no outside help whatsoever. And they will not need to travel to a church, or any other place somewhere in this world to receive it; all they need do is open their spiritual “mouths” wide to receive that Food and digest it. Kingdom Food will be readily available and accessible for any and all to receive! And they will all receive it joyously and with gratitude, for our Father is now preparing them to partake of that new, Kingdom Food without fear or hesitation!

There are no enemies in that new, Kingdom Land, for it is a realm in God that is pure and free of any and all evil or contaminating powers. But there are enemies between where we are now and that new Land of Promise! And the fires of His Presence will consume the limited powers of those enemies, along with the threatening clouds of their darkness, revealing a spiritual highway that leads to that high and holy, spiritual realm in God! That highway is called, “The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein” (Is. 35:8). Nothing unclean or defiled can ever enter that holy, heavenly city of God! Our Father has given His Word, saying, “Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion” (Is. 52:1-2).

Can we hear the Voice of the Spirit? The time is coming soon when we will awaken from our present, limited state, to rise in newness of Life and put on our new garments of the Life and Glory of Christ. Then, the Lord shall arise “and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come” (Ps. 102:13). “The set time,” is the appointed time, the time predetermined of the Father from the beginning. The Voice of our Father will then speak to us, telling us to put on those beautiful, new garments. And when He speaks, we must be able to hear and obey! Then we shall put on our strength, which begins by putting on our beautiful garments of the image and likeness of Christ (2 Cor. 5:1-4), our elder Brother! Then, each one of us will be entirely and wholly clean and pure! Then, nothing uncircumcised or unclean shall ever enter that holy, heavenly city of God! Then we will be loosed from the bonds of this flesh; it will then be the time for us to shake ourselves from the dust of this world and rise in the Spirit to take our seat at the right hand of the Father, to reign with Him in love, peace and righteousness from His royal throne of all power and authority!

The Lord’s chosen elect are coming into their inheritance! The throne room of our Father’s Kingdom is just before us! There is a seat for each one of us in our Father’s throne room (Rev. 3:21). But those “seats” are only for those overcomers who have endured the strong and deliberate cleansing and purifying process of the Lord. We must have had the “robes” of our souls made white by the blood of the Lamb and the washing of the water of His pure Word of Truth, in order for us to reign with Him. But let us be mindful of this one important truth: the false doctrines and erroneous opinions of the carnal-minded preachers and teachers, so prevalent at this time, will never cleanse us, purify us and prepare us to sit on our Father’s throne! Only the pure Word of the Lord from the mind of Christ can cleanse us and make us clean and white! Only then will we be fit to reign with Christ!

John saw us in the Spirit; He saw us climbing this last mountain, making our way into the Holiest of all! So he said of us: “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (Rev. 7:14). And we might add, without doing harm to the pure Word of the Lord, “these are they” who have also earned the right to sit with Christ and reign with Him from their Father’s Heavenly throne!

But there is more to be said of us than to speak only of our tests and trials! Our tests and trials are preparatory experiences in God. But there is much more written about us in the Word of our Father than our preparation, or our learning experiences. We are being prepared for great things in the Kingdom of our Father! We shall rule and reign with Christ from our Father’s throne! We are also building a spiritual highway for the multitudes of this world! And when we understand these truths, we will joyfully and zealously follow hard after the Lord. We will face any and all situations with the joy of the Lord, knowing that the glory before us, which we shall surely receive, is much greater than all our suffering ever was or ever could be! Paul wrote to tell us, “And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!” (Rom. 8:17-18, AMP).

As long as we remember this wonderful truth, which is that the glory before us is much greater than all our sufferings, we will make it triumphantly through this midnight hour of tests and trials. We are not some how, some way, hope so or maybe so, overcomers! We are strong and triumphant overcomers by the power of the risen Christ! With a strong hand the Lord brought His people out of Egypt (Ex. 13:9). And with that same Divine strength, which is being imparted to us, we are becoming “mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds” (2 Cor. 10:4). We are members of that distinguished company of saints “Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens” (Heb. 11:33-34). As a strong and victorious company of overcomers, we will not fail or give up; we shall walk triumphantly and victoriously through these days of our flesh, to become the living and anointed Christ of God!

“These are they...” who are known for their praise of the Lord, their joyfulness, and also for their quietness and confidence, as well as for their suffering. King David brought the ark back to the house of the Lord, where it rested. Then David appointed some over the service of song in the Lord’s house. Thus, we read, “And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest” (1 Chron. 6:31). We believe singing in the Spirit is the highest form of praise and worship known to mortal man! Through Spirit-anointed and Spirit-begotten singing the carnal soul of man is brought nearer to the heart of God! To sing praises to the Lord, in the Spirit and by the Spirit, is a most wonderful and fruitful ministry.

During the Latter Rain outpouring of the late forties and early fifties, spiritual songs of praise by the congregation stirred the hearts of all present and made us aware of the awesome and holy presence of the Lord. People were saved, healed and miracles took place, by the presence of the Lord, as the saints sang and worshiped the Lord. There was no choir director, only the presence of the Lord! There were no professional singers, only saints of the Lord who were anointed to sing! Neither the musicians nor the singers were functioning in the flesh. They were possessed by the Spirit and motivated by that same Spirit to sing and play as they did. There were no preachers or teachers ministering, only the awesome and glorious presence of the Lord! His presence was sufficient for every purpose and every need! Our God and Father of all ministered as no man can; He taught us truths we will never ever forget!

The same Spirit is present among us today, ministering to us as only He can! If we could see with the eyes of the Lord into the realm of the Spirit, we would never cease praising the Lord for His goodness to us, and for teaching us the new truths of His Kingdom, as He is doing with some of us now! We recently heard a CD of a choir singing a song, which includes a line that goes something like this: “Show me things I’ve never seen before!” May that be our prayer as well! When the Spirit teaches us, we will learn new truths revealed by the Spirit - truths we have never heard before and truths we will never ever forget!

When King David appointed some over the service of singing, after the ark was returned to rest in the house of the Lord, he was setting forth a spiritual principle of the Kingdom of God. That principle tells us that spiritual singing accompanies the presence of the Lord, for the ark in the house of the Lord represented His presence! When you are in the presence of the Lord, you will want to sing praises to Him! When you are in the presence of the Lord, your soul will be lifted to spiritual heights previously unknown to you! When you are in the presence of the Lord, you will learn truths you never knew before! It has been my experience that more truth is ministered to people while they are singing spiritual songs to the Lord in praise and worship, than when someone is attempting to teach them something! Singing in the Spirit is a witness and a testimony to the presence of the Lord! It has long been my vision, which I believe is a vision from the Lord, that any future expressions of the saints will be anointed of the Lord so they will only sing praises to the Lord, in the Spirit and by the Spirit, resulting in prophetic songs being sung, songs that will deliver, teach and inspire. There will be no preaching and teaching by man, for singing prophetic songs in the Spirit will take the place of all of man’s ministry. What joy will then be manifest among mankind in all the earth, bearing witness to the awesome and mighty presence of the Lord, where ever His people are!

“These are they...” who ministered in song to acknowledge the presence of the Lord! And “these are they” who “ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem: and then they WAITED on their office according to their order. And these are they that WAITED with their children ...” (1 Chron. 6:32-33). Following the last phrase in this scripture, the names of those who “WAITED on their office according to their order” are given, along with the names of their children. They faithfully ministered before the dwelling place of the Lord in His temporary tabernacle until Solomon’s permanent temple was built. There is no telling how much time elapsed between the beginning of their ministry and the end of it, which came when Solomon’s Temple was built. But they were faithful to continue ministering U-N-T-I-L the new temple - Solomon’s Temple - was built. Then, when the new and greater Temple was built, all those who were chosen to minister in song before the Lord during David’s administration ceased their ministry of singing and began to W-A-I-T upon their new ministry. And they all continued W-A-I-T-I-N-G before the Lord. They all “W-A-I-T-E-D on their office according to their order!” Should we do any less?

Perhaps the most difficult of all our ministries to the Lord, is to WAIT on our office, or our place or realm of service to the Lord. The new and greater order of the Kingdom of God is coming to the earth, replacing the previous order of the church. The old ministry has ended and the new is being revealed! It is time now for Father’s chosen elect to WAIT upon their new ministry! When Jesus appeared to Peter and some other disciples during the previous change in ages, He did not give them anything to do. So, Peter went fishing (Jo. 21:3)! When there is no will of God expressed to us, telling us to do some particular work for the Lord, it is much better for us just to go “fishing” than it is to contaminate the work of the Lord with our own works, which are nothing more than the works of the flesh. When Peter went fishing, he was showing his freedom from the carnal and ill-conceived works of man! Peter had already shown his willingness to do only the pure and perfect will of His Father! And we are also learning the same spiritual principle concerning the Kingdom of our Father!

The work of the Lord must be PURE, SPIRIT-BEGOTTEN WORK, from the mind of Christ! Any other kind of work is nothing else but the works of the flesh! And in the pure and holy Kingdom of our Father, none of the works of the flesh can be done, to remain and stand the test of time and fulfill the purposes of God. The principle of Life in the Kingdom of God is simply this: the flesh must REST while the Spirit works! When God works by His Spirit, it is a pure work that is undefiled by the fleshly, carnal, religious works of man! Kingdom work is pure, Spirit work; it is Spiritual work that will have a lasting effect!

Waiting on the Lord is true, spiritual “ministry.” It is the expressed will of our Father for all those who are mature both in soul and spirit. It is the right thing for all the elect to do at this time! All others will continue to struggle in the flesh, trying to fulfill what they presume to be the will and purpose of God. The elect are waiting for the Lord! They are waiting for His appearing, which will change them from flesh to spirit, and from the ways of the carnal mind to the higher ways of the mind of Christ. Job expressed our waiting attitude, when he said, “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I WAIT, till my change come. Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands” (Job 14:14-15).

Job declared that he would be ready when the Lord called. He knew that to be the truth, so he said, “and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.” And what is the work of the hands of the Lord? It is the creation of the perfect man! It is man created in God’s own image and likeness! It is the completed man, which was foretold in the beginning, when God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. So God created man in his own image” (Gen. 1:26-27). Adam was that man; he was the first man to be created in the image and likeness of God; Adam is the original man who was made both male and female in one! But Adam fell! He was taken down “by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God” (Rom. 8:20-21).

It was God who brought Adam down from his exalted, heavenly position as a son of God (Lu. 3:38), removing from Adam the likeness of Christ, which he bore only briefly. It was God who subjected the whole creation to this bondage of sin and death, and He did it with the hope of a future deliverance. Many believers have questioned why God would allow all mankind to be subjected to this bondage of sin and death. But the Lord mercifully gave us the answer to that question in the verse we have already quoted. God’s answer is here if we can hear it and receive it! Why did God subject the creation to this bondage? “Because the creature itself (or, the whole creation) also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” God removed His likeness from Adam, making him one with all mankind, thus condemning all mankind to this bondage of sin and death, that He might have mercy on them ALL!

It is written: “For God hath concluded them ALL in unbelief, THAT HE MIGHT HAVE MERCY UPON ALL. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counseller? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen” (Rom. 11:32-36). The wisdom of God is beyond human understanding! If you try to figure this out with your carnal mind, you will be confused with the confusion of the sinful, unregenerate mind of fallen mankind! But if the Spirit of the Son is in you, you will be able to both hear this Divine wisdom and receive it, by that same Spirit!

It is also written, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; EVEN SO BY THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF ONE THE FREE GIFT CAME UPON ALL MEN UNTO JUSTIFICATION OF LIFE. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord” (Rom. 5:12, 18-21). Just as sin and death came into the human family by one man, Adam, so abundant life, which is the Life of Christ, has come into the whole human family by one man, our Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God! Sin and death has reigned throughout all the previous ages of man in this world! But in this new, Kingdom Day, the grace of our Lord shall reign through right-eousness unto eternal Life by Christ Jesus our Lord! Can we not see from the Word of God how perfect and wise the plan of God is for this world and all mankind in it? And the Good News of the Gospel for all mankind is: NO ONE WILL EVER BE “LEFT BEHIND!”

How true are these Divine words, which express the wisdom of God regarding His vast creation: “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counseller? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen” What else can we say to these solemn words of Divine truth, except amen and amen; thy will be done in all the earth, O Lord, for your glory and honor!

When Job said, “all the days of my appointed time will I WAIT, till my change come,” he was waiting for the manifestation of that perfect Man, just as we all are! Job was waiting all during the days of his appointed time on this earth, until his change comes. And so are we! We will continue waiting until we either pass from this life to the next, or we are changed into His glorious image and likeness without dying! Waiting for the appearing of Christ is an honor and a privilege, afforded only to those who have been chosen of their Father for this most worthy and glorious “ministry,” or service to the Lord! And our “ministry,” or service to the Lord, will also transform every other creature in every part of the creation into the glorious and radiant image and likeness of Christ, the pure and perfect Son of God and our example! The whole creation, including every creature in it and of it, is also waiting for our manifestation! Paul declared, by the Spirit, “For the earnest expectation of the creature WAITETH for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Rom. 8:19). The whole creation is WAITING, and so are we! And we will not give up our WAITING MINISTRY until we are changed by the power of the risen Christ, and all mankind and every other creature along with us is also changed! What a wonderful, hope-filled ministry this is! What a glorious future we, and all mankind, have in Christ!

Our manifestation as sons of God, or our transformation into the image and likeness of Christ, is the salvation of the Lord. It is our full salvation! The Psalmist declared, “Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day” (Ps. 25:5). To wait on the Lord all our days is not to be an empty or useless waste of time. Rather, it is to be a time of learning and receiving the Truth of God. The cry of every one of our hearts should be, “Lead me in thy truth, and teach me!” We are walking a narrow pathway leading to the utmost heights of Zion, the dwelling place of God in the Spirit. And that pathway is laid out and lined with truths and lessons to be both learned and experienced by all who are waiting to be changed into His radiant image and resplendent likeness. Our Father is teaching us His truth! And there is no better Teacher than the Lord Himself! That is why the Psalmist cried out to Him, saying, “Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I WAIT all the day.” Surely the God of our salvation is leading us onward, day by day, to experience the fullness of His so great salvation, as we wait for Him!

The Psalmist also asked the Lord, “O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I WAIT on thee” (Ps. 25:20-21). Integrity and uprightness can only come from the Lord. The Lord is keeping us as we wait for Him, with a view to delivering us, lest we be ashamed, for we have put all our trust in Him. The Psalmist continued, by saying, “WAIT on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: WAIT, I say, on the LORD” (Ps. 27:14). What wisdom there is in these inspired verses: “REST in the LORD, and WAIT patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that WAIT upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek (or the humble, the lowly and the afflicted) shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace” (Ps. 37:7-11). What peace and security we have in Christ as we REST and WAIT for Him!

The Psalmist also said, “WAIT on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it” (Ps. 37:35). When can we expect to see the fulfillment of this promise? When will the Lord exalt us to inherit our new, promised land? The Word of the Lord tells us: “when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.” There is more wisdom from God if we can hear it and walk it out: “My soul, WAIT thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah” (Ps. 62:5-8). Divine Wisdom has also been declared in another verse, saying to us, “I WAIT for the LORD, my soul doth WAIT, and in his word do I hope. My soul WAITETH for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning” (Ps. 130:5-6). The morning of this new, Kingdom Day shall soon dawn! But it is not the morning we are waiting for; it is the Lord! We are waiting for Christ to be revealed! And when Christ appears, this darkest of nights shall be changed into the brilliant dawn of the new morning, by the transforming Light that He is!

While we wait for the fulfillment of the Word and the Promises of our Father, He is waiting also. The Lord is waiting, not to bring us into judgment or condemnation, but to be gracious and merciful unto us! It is written, “And therefore will the LORD WAIT, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that WAIT for him” (Is. 30:18). And again, we read, “But they that WAIT upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Is. 40:31). Our Father’s promises to those who wait for Him get better and better, as in this passage of scripture: “Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders. And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that WAIT for me” (Is. 49:22-23).

The prophet, Jeremiah, asked, “Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will WAIT upon thee: for thou hast made all these things” (Jer. 14:22). And the wise man has said, “The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that WAIT for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should BOTH HOPE AND QUIETLY WAIT for the salvation of the LORD” (Lam. 3:24-26). Indeed, we are very hopeful; we are also quietly waiting for the salvation of the Lord, and we will not be disappointed! “Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and WAIT on thy God continually” (Hos. 12:6). “Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will WAIT for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me” (Mic. 7:7).

The prophet, Habakkuk, was standing watch on the spiritual watch tower of the Lord, wondering what the Lord would say to him. “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but AT THE END it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, WAIT for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry” (Hab. 2:2-3). The Lord revealed to the prophet Zephaniah the debased condition of Judah, which parallels the present state of the world. Then the Lord gave His prophet the answer, which also applies for us today. “Therefore WAIT ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation (or, God’s displeasure with sin), even all my fierce anger: for all the earth (everything of this earth that can be shaken, Heb. 12:27, to make it perfect and complete, as in Jer. 33:8-9) shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may ALL call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent” (Zeph. 3:8-9).

The wickedness of man is great, but it is not our loving Father’s plan to destroy all mankind. Rather, it is His loving and merciful purpose to pour out the fire of His anger against the people and the nations, to judge them, discipline them and correct them, thus making all of them righteous as He is righteous. Many in the church system believe that God will destroy all those who are not yet saved when the Lord pours out His wrath upon the nations. But they greatly err! Why would God destroy all those who are not yet saved, when it is His intention to give them all a pure language, “that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent?” The false doctrines of man make no sense whatsoever! Judgment unto correction is Father’s plan for all mankind, not total annihilation or destruction! When He has corrected them all, they will ALL serve Him with one consent! Our God is a consuming fire! By the fires of His presence, our Father shall cleanse the nations of this world, and turn to the people a pure language, that they may ALL call upon His Name and serve Him with one consent. The word “consent,” means to work as a slave or a beast of burden, starting early in the morning. With that same dedication to the cause of the Kingdom of God, that a bonded slave might have to his earthly master, all mankind will serve the Lord, doing all His will with joy and gladness. All will know the truth of God (see 1 Tim. 2:4); they will also know the result or the outcome of His will.

Jesus also advised us to WAIT, when He said, “Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; And ye yourselves like unto men that WAIT for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them” (Lu. 12:35-37). When Christ appears, by the Spirit, He will treat us to a meal of mature “meat” that is fit to feed to full-grown sons. He will come forth and serve us that “meaty meal,” which is adult, spiritual food rich in nutrients that will bring us to full maturity, providing us with the full salvation of the Lord. The full salvation of the Lord will result in our transformation from this body of flesh and blood into our new bodies of the Life and Glory of Christ! It is that which we cannot see, feel, hear or maybe even comprehend. “But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience WAIT for it” (Rom. 8:25). Our calling now, at least for the duration of this present midnight hour, is to WAIT for His appearing, WATCHING for the signs of His coming, and LISTENING for His gentle knock on the “door” of our hearts. Then, when Christ appears, the spiritual darkness of this midnight hour will become the glorious dawn of the new morning!

We are of Those who shall Bring Back the King
“And Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is dead in battle. Now therefore why speak ye not a word of bringing the king back? And king David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, saying, Speak unto the elders of Judah, saying, Why are ye the last to bring the king back to his house? seeing the speech of all Israel is come to the king, even to his house. Ye are my brethren, ye are my bones and my flesh: wherefore then are ye the last to bring back the king” (2 Sam. 19:10-12). With all that is within me, I firmly believe this is the great Day of the coming of our King to reign over all the earth! And I also believe the Lord would say to us all today, “why speak ye not a word of bringing the king back?”

Absalom, one of Saul’s sons, attempted to take the kingdom from David by deceit and by war. But Absalom was killed in that war, so there was a need to bring back the true king, which was king David. Thus, the question was asked, and rightfully so, “why speak ye not a word of bringing the king back?” And this question could be asked of every one of us as well, in this new, Kingdom Day. Why aren’t more of the Lord’s chosen elect speaking of bringing back the King? Every one of us ought to be more concerned with the return of our true King, than we are of political events in this world, or of outmoded religious, church-oriented activities! May the Spirit within us respond to this question with a firm and sure, “Yea Lord, we will speak often of bringing our King back to reign on this earth!” Recently, while visiting with some old friends from many years past, one of them asked what it might have been like if so and so had been elected by the people. Of course, I could have responded with another word regarding our rulers, but the Spirit prompted me instead to reply, “As believers should not our question rather be, what will it be like when Christ reigns over all the earth?”

When Christ reigns on this earth in peace and righteousness, and in the power and glory of our almighty Father, there will be no war, no poverty, no want, no privation, no trouble, no sorrow, no pain and no woe! When Christ reigns on this earth and all His matured and perfected sons with Him, there will be no lust and greed, no oppression and no more of man’s inhumanity against man! Nation will no longer rise up against nation, for they shall all beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. When Christ reigns on this earth in Kingdom power and glory and with resurrection Life, death will be vanquished, and sin and sickness will no longer exist! Never again will there be an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years. The person who dies at one hundred years will be thought of as a mere youth, and those who fail to reach a hundred years will be considered accursed. Ignorance of the Truth of God will be thoroughly abolished from the mind of man, for the knowledge of the glory of the Lord shall cover the earth, as the waters cover the sea! The carnal mind along with the sinful soul shall be completely conquered and eliminated, for the mind of Christ and the Life of God shall prevail everywhere and in every situation or circumstance! The lion shall eat straw like the ox, and a baby shall play on the hole of the once most poisonous viper. No person shall hurt or harm another, nor shall any of the other animals and creatures hurt and devour any other creature, in the blessed Kingdom of our Father!

Considering all the wonderful benefits and blessings to come to the earth when Christ reigns over all men and all nations, I join David in asking, “why speak ye not a word of bringing the king back?” This question is not asked in condemnation, or as if there is no concern among us for His reign to come, for we are all deeply concerned and intimately and personally involved with the return of Christ, the King and Lord of all! But this question is asked only to inspire us to press on in our pursuit of the fullness of Christ, and to continue to WAIT for His appearing, as we approach the morning dawn of this new, Kingdom Day! This is the Day of the reign of Christ over all, and we are the saints who shall reign with Him in peace and righteousness, and with great power and glory!

Time and the purposes of God are combining to lead us to a bright and brilliant dawn, when Christ shall appear in the glory of the Father! The great King and Lord of all is returning in the Glory and Honor of His mighty Kingdom to favor Zion and raise us up to newness of Life! He is appearing within us, awakening us and calling upon us to be alert and aware, for the certain trumpet sound to be heard throughout our spiritual land, when He shall speak that Word of resurrection Life to our inner man of the Spirit. The time is at hand; it is “the time to favour her (Zion), yea, the set time, is come” (Ps. 102:13). And “when the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory” (Ps. 102:16). How will our Father build up Zion, which we are? By exchanging our fleshly bodies of this “life” of death, with our new bodies of the true Life and Glory of the risen and resurrected Christ of God! “The (spiritually) dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into (the) silence (of the grave). But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore (for we are alive in Christ). Praise the LORD” (Ps. 115:17-18).

“Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away” (Song 2:10-13). This anointed Word may be premature as to Father’s time and purpose, but we believe the time of its fulfillment is fast approaching. Who knows but what the new morning may break before us in great Glory and Life within just a few short years! Our WAITING PERIOD may soon be over! The time of the blooming of the flowers of spring and the singing of the summer song birds may very well be at hand! Are we beginning to hear the voice of the turtle? Is the fig tree yet putting forth her green figs? Are not the vines with their tender grapes giving forth a good smell, even the fragrance of fresh new growth? Ah, the time
when our Father will say to us, “Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away,” may soon be here! And where will we go when He speaks that Word of authority and power, calling upon us to “arise?” Not to any place of earth, of course, but to the heavenly, spiritual Zion, the dwelling place of God, in the Spirit! And when we mature spiritually, the Lord will then build up Zion, clothing us all with those precious new garments of the Life and Glory of Christ! Blessed be His great Name!

“Sow for yourselves according to righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God); Break up your uncultivated ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, to inquire for and of Him, and to require His favor, till He comes and teaches you righteousness and rains His righteous gift of salvation upon you. [2 Cor. 9:10.]” (Hos. 10:12, AMP). We are WAITING for the Lord! When He appears, He will teach us righteousness and will also rain His righteous gift of full salvation upon all His elect and chosen ones, by the Spirit. But prior to His appearing, we are told to “Sow for yourselves according to righteousness; Break up your uncultivated ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, to inquire for and of Him, and to require His favor.” We are to continue doing all this “till He comes.” If we desire to be fully saved and for Christ to take over this old, sinful world of trouble and woe, we will indeed call upon the Lord, asking Him to break up the uncultivated ground of our hearts. We will also seek the Lord, that He may soon appear to us, changing us into His glorious image and likeness.

In my opinion, the number one issue in the world for us today should be, do we want man to continue to reign on the earth, bringing more war, trouble, sorrow, suffering, privation and bondages of every kind to the people of this world, or do we long for the reign of Christ to begin? The whole creation is suffering along with us, as we all wait for the manifestation of the sons of God to take place, along with the reign of the Christ to begin! The appearing of Christ will bring forth the manifestation of the sons of God, thus releasing the whole creation from this bondage to sin and death! Then, Christ shall reign, and all His transformed sons with Him, putting an end to the dictatorial misrule and the deceitful mismanagement of the carnal rule of fallen mankind.

The Day of His power has come! It is written of this Day: “Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth” (Ps. 110:3). One identifying mark or characteristic of this new, Kingdom Day is that all the Lord’s elect, His true chosen people, “shall be willing in the day of thy power.” You will know the elect by their willingness for the reign of Christ to take place in this great Day of His power. Not one of them will want man’s reign to continue, if such a thing were possible, for they are all willing for the reign of Christ to begin over all the earth! Not only are they all willing, but they are all being fully prepared to reign with Christ in the power and glory of His righteous Kingdom.

The Psalmist continued to describe the reign of Christ, saying, “The Lord at Your right hand will shatter kings in the day of His indignation. He will execute judgment [in overwhelming punishment] upon the nations; He will fill the valleys with the dead bodies, He will crush the [chief] heads over lands many and far extended. [Ezek 38:21,22; 39:11,12.]” (Ps. 110:5-6, AMP). Scriptures such as this confuse many believers, leading them to think and believe that it is God’s plan to destroy mankind. Many of them believe that the Lord literally “will fill the valleys with the dead bodies” of all those who do not believe in Him. But that is not our Father’s intention at all! We know for certain that it is His plan and purpose to save all mankind. This is clearly stated throughout the scriptures. Paul wrote to say of the Lord: “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” (1 Tim. 2:4, see also 1 Cor. 15:22 ). That is a big order! But God will have His way, for His will shall be done in all the earth with all mankind, and for His glory and honor. He will indeed have all men to be saved AND TO COME UNTO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH! Most Christians do not know the whole Truth of God! They have a measure of the truth, which is mixed with error, but they do not yet have all Truth! However, all Christians as well as all mankind will eventually know the whole Truth of God, which is Christ, for HE IS TRUTH! And every person who has ever lived or will yet live on this earth shall be fully saved, for God has planned and purposed that they all should be saved and come to the knowledge of the whole Truth of God, by the Spirit!

Since all mankind are to be saved, what does the scripture mean when it says, “He will fill the valleys with the dead bodies?” For all mankind to be fully saved and changed into the image and likeness of Christ, they must all be delivered of the carnal mind and the fleshly, carnal body. The “dead bodies” refer to these old, sinful bodies of flesh and blood. These old, carnal, fleshly bodies of sin and death shall be replaced with the new bodies of the Life and Glory of Christ! And, according to the scriptures, God will fill the valleys with those dead bodies. We believe this is a prophetic, spiritual event, not something to be fulfilled literally. (The Bible also tells us that this body is to be “dissolved,” 2 Cor. 5:1.) But our transformation into the image and likeness of Christ will most certainly be fulfilled literally, by the Spirit of the Living God.

We will not all be changed at the same time, for God has an order for the salvation of all! Paul described that Divine order, when he wrote, “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming” (1 Cor. 15:22-23). When this predestined order is fulfilled, God’s program for the salvation of the rest of mankind shall be fulfilled. We must be fully saved and transformed first! Then the rest of mankind may come to know Him as their Savior! That is our Father’s order for the salvation of all! And we joyfully look forward to the appearing of Christ, which shall change us into His image and likeness!
