THE WORLD TO COME

Part Nine
May 2006

The new Jerusalem realm of the Kingdom of God is coming down from God out of Heaven to the Earth, changing the earth and bringing forth the world to come (see Rev. 21:1-2 with Is. 65:17-19, Is. 66:22 and 2 Peter 3:13). Our Father has wondrous things planned and purposed for us all in that new world! The wonder and glory of the world to come may be beyond our understanding and expectation. We are baffled by it all when we try to visualize the glories of that new world to come. When the Kingdom of God comes to Earth, changing it and making it all new, that will be God coming down from Heaven, by His Spirit, bringing with Him His royal City and Throne, including His Presence and Love, creating a new Earth, resulting in an entirely new world order. God will come down to the Earth, by His Spirit, in all His transforming and creative Power, Glory, and Kingdom authority!

In the prayer that he prayed after the dedication of the temple, which he built for the Lord, Solomon asked this question: “But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?” (1 Kings 8:27). The answer to this question is a resounding YES! Yes indeed, God will dwell on earth! The Lord declared His intention and purpose to dwell on earth with Israel, when He said, “And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God. And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the LORD their God” (Ex. 29:45-46). And the psalmist David prophesied of Christ, saying, “Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them” (Ps. 68:18).

One of the purposes for the wonderful gifts of the Spirit given to God’s people as a function of the church order was “that the LORD God might dwell among” His people on earth! God wants to live among us and dwell among us right here on earth! To further verify this Truth, we know that Jesus was sent to the earth and given the name Immanuel, which means God with us (Is. 7:14)! It is God’s will that we should love Him and serve Him faithfully, then He will be our God and will dwell among us! It is His great pleasure to live with His people on earth, ultimately in fullness, bringing Heaven to Earth! In time to come, during this wonderful, new Kingdom Day, God will indeed dwell with man on earth in fullness, not in this present, sin-cursed world that is corrupted by the Adamic nature, but in the next world, which is the world to come! The apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians, telling them, “What agreement [can there be between] a temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among them and will walk in and with and among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. [Ex 25:8; 29:45; Lev 26:12; Jer. 31:1; Ezek. 37:27.]” (2 Cor. 6:16, AMP).

And John, while in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, said this: “THEN I saw a new sky (heaven) and a new earth, for the former sky and the former earth had passed away (vanished), and there no longer existed any sea. [Isa 65:17; 66:22.] And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, all arrayed like a bride beautified and adorned for her husband; Then I heard a mighty voice from the throne and I perceived its distinct words, saying, See! The abode of God is with men, and He will live (encamp, tent) among them; and they shall be His people, and GOD SHALL PERSONALLY BE WITH THEM (ON EARTH) AND BE THEIR GOD. [Ezek. 37:27.] God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things (on the old, former earth) have passed away. [Isa 25:8; 35:10.] And He Who is seated on the throne said, SEE! I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW. Also He said, Record this, for these sayings are faithful (accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy) and true (genuine). [Isa 43:19.]” (Rev. 21:1-5, AMP). John saw that the former sky and the former earth had passed away or vanished. This would suggest that no great earth-shaking catastrophes or disruptive noises took place when the old heavens and the old earth passed away, for all the old things, including the seas, simply vanished out of sight and passed away. The new Jerusalem realm was also seen coming down from God out of Heaven to the earth, making all things new!

That also was God coming down from Heaven to dwell with His people on earth, to be our God and make all things new! It is the Spirit declaring positively that the old order of things, such as the old church order and the orderly arrangement of things in this present world, which includes the Babylonish, religious, political-governmental and economic systems of man, are truly passing away, never to exist again! Also, the old principle of people dying and going to heaven is being replaced with something better! In the world to come, it will be unusual for anyone to die at an early age, for man will live hundreds of years, including “sinners” (Is. 65:20). The manifestation of the sons of God is the one event that will initiate those wonderful changes, resulting in transformed sons who will never die! We need to adjust our thinking and receive new Truth for this new Day! The old order is passing away, to be replaced by the new and greater order of the Kingdom of God on Earth! Heaven is coming to Earth bringing forth a new world!

To help us understand that the Spirit is speaking of the new Earth, where righteousness shall dwell, and not in Heaven alone, the Lord said this: “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things (on earth) have passed away.” I am sure we all know that there are no tears in the Heavens of God’s Spirit, nor does death exist in those Heavens either, but they most certainly do exist in abundance on this earth! So also does sorrow, mourning and grief exist on this earth, but not in Heaven! It is on the new Earth where Life shall replace death, joy shall replace sorrow and mourning, and loving joyfulness shall replace all the grief of man that is of this present, corrupt and sin-cursed world.

To attempt to understand all that will come to Earth when God comes down from Heaven to change this earth, we should first know more about God and who He is. In his fourth epistle, John tells us this about God: “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for GOD IS LOVE” (1 John 4:7-8). What we must know about God is: GOD IS LOVE! This tells us that God does not merely have love, or show love, nor is love a part of Him; rather, GOD IS LOVE! Everything about God and of Him IS LOVE! GOD IS LOVE in His Person, in His nature, in His character and all through the omnipotent, all-wise and all-knowing Spirit, which HE IS! God is Love Personified!

When our loving and merciful Father judges us, disciplines us and corrects us, He is manifesting and showing forth His Love for us. Thus, we read, “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth” (Heb. 12:6, see also Rev. 3:19). Every true, Spirit-begotten son of God must be chastened and scourged by their Father, with His utmost Love, that we may be created into the image and likeness of Christ! There is no escaping the chastening of sons, for it is our Father’s method of bringing us to the full maturity of sonship fulfilled! Furthermore, to be chastened of the Lord indicates also that we are sons of God, whom He is receiving into His Kingdom and unto Himself! Father chastens us to show that He is receiving us! The next few verses explain it this way: “If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but HE (chastens us) for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby” (Heb. 12:7-11).

True sons of God are chastened by their Father like no other people on earth! According to the scripture quoted above, all the other people in this world are “without chastisement.” Only the elect, who are sons of God, are being uniquely and particularly chastened of their Father in Heaven! Many other people in this world are certainly going through hardships and problems of various kinds. It may be difficult to tell the difference between the chastisement of God’s sons and the tests and trials of others. But only God’s true sons are enduring the chastisements of their Father, which are unique to the sons of God, and are a part of the training of those sons who shall rule and reign with Christ.

The chastening of the Lord does not make us feel joyous, but grievous, and sometimes sorrowful, distressed and painful. When Father deals with us as His sons, we may become very unlovely, unloving and sometimes unkind. That is the carnal nature reacting to the Lord’s chastening in our lives. But “AFTERWARD,” or after the chastening of the Lord has done its cleansing work, that corrective, cleansing and chastening work of our Father will yield “the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.” If we will keep our spiritual eye on the “AFTERWARD” realm, or on the future results of our chastening, to see more clearly what our Father is making of us, we will be able to endure the Lord’s chastening with faith, hope and promise. The New International Version translated that verse this way: “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN TRAINED BY IT” (Heb. 12:11, NIV). We are being trained and disciplined by the chastisements of our Father, which are done with His Love! And only those who are properly trained, disciplined and corrected by their Father, shall reign with Christ in His righteous and holy Kingdom!

Our loving Father revealed His great Love for His people, whether for Israel of old or Israel of today, when He said, “THE LORD did not SET HIS LOVE UPON YOU and choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the fewest of all people. But BECAUSE THE LORD LOVES YOU and because He would keep the oath which He had sworn to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations” (Deut. 7:7-9, AMP).

What a wonderful Word this is for those of us who are going through our tests and trials, and the deep and intense processings of the holy Spirit, which are necessary to make of us true, Spirit-born sons of the living God! May we hear the Word of the Lord and understand it, as we emphasized it above: “THE LORD SET HIS LOVE UPON YOU BECAUSE THE LORD LOVES YOU!” The Love of God is so powerful that His Love will transform His elect, giving them their new bodies of the Life and Glory of Christ! So also shall God, Who is Love personified, transform this wicked, corrupt old earth into the new Earth, even that new world to come, which is promised in the prophetic Word of the Lord! And then, as if to seal His pure Word of Love, and assure us that it will most certainly be fulfilled, the Lord said: “Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, HE IS GOD, THE FAITHFUL GOD, WHO KEEPS COVENANT AND STEAD-FAST LOVE AND MERCY with those who love Him and keep His commandments, TO A THOUSAND GENERATIONS!”

All the promises of God are based, not on our love for Him alone, but primarily on HIS LOVE FOR US! Love begins with God, for outside of Him, or without Him, there is no true Love anywhere! Carnal love, the love of man, or the love of the brethren is hollow and sensual when compared with the deep, rich and abiding Love of God! His Love is far superior to anything man can show forth. John also wrote to say: “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. We love him, because HE FIRST LOVED US” (1 John 4:10, 19). Most assuredly, Love begins with God! And only that Love that originated with God can change people and transform this tired, old earth into the new Earth, which is described in the prophetic Word of the Lord! O that we might know that deep and rich Love of God that transcends all the world’s evil, hatred, bigotry and animosity, which will also transform this old, corrupted earth into the new Earth of tomorrow, or the world to come! There is an old song that tells about the Love of God that will “make the whole world sing.” His Love will change this world and all the people in it, causing all mankind to sing like they have never sung before, in that wonderful, new world to come!

God is not only Love, but the scriptures also inform us that God is true (Jo. 3:33), faithful (1 Cor. 1:9), holy (Ps. 99:9), gracious and merciful (2 Chron. 30:9), mighty (Job 36:5), great (Job 36:26), a refuge (Ps. 62:8), a sun and shield (Ps. 84:11), the judge (Ps. 75:7), a consuming fire (Heb. 12:29), and light (1 Jo. 1:5). ALL THIS, WHICH GOD IS, is coming to the Earth, judging it, changing it, redeeming all, and bringing forth the new world of tomorrow!

The Lord revealed Himself to Israel as “the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations” (Deut. 7:7-9, AMP). Just as He delivered Israel of old “with a mighty hand and redeemed you (them) out of the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh,” so will the Lord our God deliver us out of our “house of bondage” and from the hand of our current “pharaoh,” and will do so “with a mighty Hand!” We may not fully understand the Love of God for His creation, which will transform this earth into the new Earth of Father’s Love. Neither can we fully understand the Kingdom benefits provided for all those who love God. Thus, we read, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared FOR THEM THAT LOVE HIM” (1 Cor. 2:9). How blessed we are in knowing that the Word of the Lord does not end there, but continues, by saying, “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God” (Vs. 10). Wonderful things are promised us all in the new world to come! May we walk softly before the Lord, keeping His Word and the principles of His Kingdom, as He continues to lead us to that perfect Day, and also to that perfect world!

The word of the psalmist may help us understand our need for the chastisements of the Lord, which come from “the right hand of the Lord.” Thus, we read, “The Lord is my Strength and Song; and He has become my Salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents and private dwellings of the [uncompromisingly] righteous: the right hand of the Lord does valiantly and achieves strength! The right hand of the Lord is exalted; the right hand of the Lord does valiantly and achieves strength! I shall not die but live, and shall declare the works and recount the illustrious acts of the Lord. The Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over to death. [2 Cor. 6:9.]” (Ps. 118:14-18, AMP). When we are being chastened of the Lord, by the power of His right hand, the Lord has then become our salvation, even our full salvation, which is that salvation unto Life! And the result of the chastising work of the Lord in our lives is: “The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents and private dwellings of the [uncompromisingly] righteous.” If you are one of His elect sons, who are enduring the chastisements common to our high calling, the word of the Lord suggests that even our homes may be filled with “the voice of rejoicing and salvation.” But wait until the morning dawns and the new world has come forth! Then, we will really sing and rejoice, with joy unspeakable and full of glory!

The psalmist described the end of our faith, which is our spiritual transformation or change into the glorious image and likeness of Christ, our elder Brother, when he sang this song: “Open to me the [temple] gates of righteousness; I will enter through them, and I will confess and praise the Lord. (Verse 20:) This is the gate of the Lord; the [uncompromisingly] righteous shall enter through it. [Ps 24:7.] I will confess, praise, and give thanks to You, for You have heard and answered me; and You have become my Salvation and Deliverer” (Ps. 118:19-21, AMP). You can tell a true son of God by the prayers they pray and the desire of their hearts. Rather than asking God for something worldly, the cry of our hearts will always be to our Father, asking Him with faith and determination: “Open to me the (heavenly) gates of righteousness; I will enter through them, and I will confess and praise the Lord!” May our loving Father open that spiritual “gate” to us soon that we might enter into His greater Presence and be transformed into His glorious image and heavenly likeness!

The King James version shows verse twenty as, “This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter” (Ps. 118:20). The wording of this verse tells us there is one specific gate in the heavenly courts where the righteous alone may enter. There may be several gates in the Heavenlies, with a gate for each and every spiritual level of believers. By those heavenly, spiritual gates, every person may have access to God, to find in Him all they need. But obviously, there is ONE SPECIFIC GATE FOR THE RIGHTEOUS! Those who were made righteous by their Father and who were prepared by Him to reign with Christ, shall enter into the Presence of the Lord from that one gate, to be changed into His image and likeness. It is our utmost desire to enter through that one gate into the heavenly courts of the Lord, to see Him as He is and become all that HE IS! We long to see Him as He is, that we might be transformed into His glorious image and heavenly likeness! And when our loving and merciful Father answers our prayer and opens to us that heavenly gate, in His time and according to His eternal purpose, He will then indeed have “become (OUR) Salvation and (OUR) Deliverer!” The psalmist closed this portion of that psalm by saying, as we all will when we have been completely changed and fully transformed: “I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation” (Ps. 118:21).

Messianic Prophecies and the New World to Come
Psalm one hundred eighteen is a psalm of praise and thanksgiving to the Lord. In this psalm, the psalmist is calling upon all Israel, along with the Aaronic priests, to give thanks unto the Lord and to acknowledge also that He is good and that His mercy endures forever and ever! And it will help us all to do the same! There also is a Messianic prophecy in this psalm, which reveals truth for our understanding concerning our transformation and reigning with Christ. The psalmist prophesied of the future glory of the new Day of the Kingdom of God, with Christ as “the chief cornerstone,” when he said, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This is from the Lord and is His doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. [Matt 21:42; Acts 4:11; 1 Peter 2:7.] This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Save now, we beseech You, O Lord; send now prosperity, O Lord, we beseech You, and give to us success” (Ps. 118:22-25, AMP).

The “stone,” of this prophecy is Christ. The “builders” rejected Him, but Father made Him “the chief cornerstone.” This is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. This work of the Lord resulted in the bringing forth of a new Day/age, which is the new Day of the Kingdom of God on earth! Only God could have brought forth this new Day, for this Day is His Day, it is the Day of the Lord! It is the great Sabbath Day, which was foretold in the scriptures of Truth. It also is the great, Kingdom Day when the Lord will save His elect first, and will also send prosperity and true, Kingdom success and numerous spiritual blessings to all, in the new world to come!

The “Day,” referred to in the above prophetic psalm can only be a Day created and brought forth by the Lord Himself. There is no other day, and there is no other kingdom, which will provide true peace, prosperity and success, as the mighty and all-powerful Kingdom of our God will in this new Kingdom Day! All other days and kingdoms are proven to be absolute failures! None but Christ can bring true and lasting peace to this world, as well as real and true prosperity and success to all mankind. Only “the day which the Lord has brought about,” could be the wonderful, new Kingdom Day, which will fulfill all our needs and desires, as well as the many promises of our God. No other Day could cause us to rejoice and be glad, as will this Day!

Jesus spoke of this “stone,” and how it relates to the Kingdom of God, when He said, “Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder” (Mt. 21:42-44). This “Stone,” which is Christ, was rejected by His own people, so the Kingdom was taken from them and given to a people who would bring forth its fruit. But Father made Him to be “the head of the corner.” Christ, the Stone and also “the head of the corner,” can be many things to us. But of this we may be certain: the Stone of Christ is that Stone that acts as an abrasive and cutting agent in our lives, which breaks us, cuts us to shreds, and strips us of all that is carnal, worldly and of the flesh. The Truth for us to know is: “whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder!” Some of us have “fallen” on this Stone many times, to be broken and stripped of all that is carnal, fleshly and of the spirit of this world.

Another Messianic prophecy is also found in the Psalms: “The Lord swore to David in truth; He will not turn back from it: one of the fruit of your body I will set upon your throne. [Ps 89:3,4; Luke 1:69; Acts 2:30,31.] If your children will keep My covenant and My testimony that I shall teach them, their children also shall sit upon your throne forever” (Ps. 132:11-12, AMP). Notice what God is saying here! He is speaking to David, telling him that God would take one member of his family, and would set that one on the throne of David. His exact words are: “one of the fruit of your body I will set upon your throne.” That one member of the family of David is, of course, Jesus the Christ. He will sit on the throne of David, which means Christ will reign as a spiritual King from an earthly throne, called the throne of David. Christ will reign spiritually, but He will do so on earth, as He sits on that earthly throne, ruling over all the Earth in the world to come.

Then, the Word of the Lord continues by saying, “If your children will keep My covenant and My testimony that I shall teach them, their children also shall sit upon your throne forever.” As we have written before, we are those “children,” taken from David’s natural and spiritual family (Israel), who will keep and obey the covenants, the principles and the testimonies of the Lord, and are thus fully qualified to “sit upon (David’s) your throne forever.” David’s throne is also the Lord’s throne; it is God’s earthly throne! It is Christ reigning over all the earth in the Kingdom of God! And we are those “children,” who have grown up spiritually, and are fully qualified to reign with Christ!

Here is another Messianic Prophecy: “AND THERE shall come forth a Shoot out of the stock of Jesse [David's father], and a Branch out of his roots shall grow and bear fruit. [Isa 4:2; Matt 2:23; Rev 5:5; 22:16.] And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him--the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord – And shall make Him of quick understanding, and His delight shall be in the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord. And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, neither decide by the hearing of His ears; But with righteousness and justice shall He judge the poor and decide with fairness for the meek, the poor, and the downtrodden OF THE EARTH; and He shall smite THE EARTH and the oppressor with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked (on earth). And righteousness shall be the girdle of His waist and faithfulness the girdle of His loins” (Is. 11:1-5, AMP).

Notice the exact wording of this prophecy! Two parts or pieces are to come out of the stock and root of Jesse! The first is “a Shoot out of the stock of Jesse,” and the second is “a Branch out of his roots.” The first to come forth from David’s family is Christ, the Head! The second or last to come forth from David’s family, or from Israel, is Christ, the Body! And those two, when joined together by the one Spirit in the manifestation of the sons of God, shall become ONE CHRIST! Both of them, or the whole Christ Body together, shall be anointed with the seven Spirits of the Lord! Together, as one anointed Man, that Christ Man shall be “of quick understanding, and His delight shall be in the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord. And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, neither decide by the hearing of His ears.” We may wonder how close we are to this spiritual model of righteousness? But our loving Father will judge and correct us, to make us fit for His Kingdom, as only He can! May He grant us that “quick understanding,” so that our “delight shall be in the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord.” Then, in union with Christ, we will not judge by what our natural eyes see, nor by what our natural ears hear, but all our judging will be done with the Wisdom, the Authority and the Anointing of the seven Spirits of the Lord!

And then, to inform us that the righteous reign of Christ shall come to Earth, to rule all the earth, the prophet of the Lord said this: “But with righteousness and justice shall He judge the poor and decide with fairness for the meek, the poor, and the downtrodden OF THE EARTH; and He shall smite THE EARTH and the oppressor with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of His waist and faithfulness the girdle of His loins.” The meek, the poor, the downtrodden and the wicked are to be found only ON THIS PRESENT EARTH! It is also here ON THIS EARTH where the needy shall be judged, corrected and given their fair, just and righteous rewards. What a wonderful and glorious promise this is! And all this shall take place right here on this old earth, which is being restored to become the new Earth, or the world to come!

This anointed prophecy cannot be fulfilled on this present earth that is corrupted by the man of sin! But it can only be fulfilled on the promised new Earth, which is the world to come! And I am sure we will all readily agree that this prophecy has nothing to do with the Heavens of God’s Spirit, but it has everything to do with the NEW EARTH, or the world to come! Only on earth are there poor and downtrodden people! Only on earth are there oppressors and wicked people! Neither of these will ever be found in Heaven, for the will of God is done in that Heaven! It is on the restored Earth, the new Earth, or the world to come, where the poor, the needy and the downtrodden shall find help, prosperity and the blessings of the Lord! It is on the new Earth where the oppressor shall be smitten with the rod of His mouth, and where the wicked shall be slain with the breath of His lips! We are blessed in knowing that we are living in that great Kingdom Day when the perfect will of God shall be done on Earth, just as His will is being done in Heaven! Our prayer continues to be: “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH, (JUST) AS IT IS (BEING DONE) IN HEAVEN” (Mt. 6:9-10). Not only are the elect of the Lord praying this Kingdom prayer with renewed fervency, but it is something we are becoming in our innermost being! We are becoming the will of God!

To further show that this prophecy is about the new Earth, or the world to come, and not about Heaven, the anointed prophet of the Lord said this: “And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and the fatted domestic animal together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed side by side, their young shall lie down together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play over the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den. They shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, for THE EARTH shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. And it shall be in that day that the Root of Jesse shall stand as a signal for the peoples; of Him shall the nations (of the world) inquire and seek knowledge, and His dwelling (on earth) shall be glory [His rest glorious]! [John 12:32.]” (Is. 11:6-10, AMP).

As if to nullify any idea that this prophecy may be about animals in heaven, the Word of the Lord said this: “They shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, for THE EARTH shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” It is on this old earth where a lamb could not possibly dwell with the wolf, nor could a leopard lie down with a young goat; and a cow and a bear could not feed side-by-side. This present earth is cursed and corrupted by man’s sins and iniquities. Not one word of this anointed prophecy could possibly be fulfilled here in this present, sin-cursed world! But it shall surely and certainly be fulfilled here on the new Earth! God will change this earth into the new Earth, or the world to come, making the Earth a fit place for all the animals and other creatures. He will change them completely so they may exist peaceably and side-by-side! Indeed, in the new world to come, there will be real, Kingdom peace, not only in all the valleys, but everywhere and for every creature!

And then, Isaiah’s anointed prophecy in chapter eleven closes with these words: “And it shall be in that day that the Root of Jesse shall stand as a signal for the peoples; OF HIM SHALL THE NATIONS (on earth) INQUIRE AND SEEK KNOWLEDGE, and His dwelling shall be glory [His rest glorious]! [John 12:32.]” (Is. 11:6-10, AMP). In this great, Kingdom Day “the root of Jesse,” or the called and chosen descendants of David’s family, “shall stand as a signal for the peoples.” And who are those who make up “the root of Jesse,” if it is not the manifest sons of God? They/we are the “signal for the peoples,” given to the world, which shall get their attention, causing all the nations of the world to “inquire and seek knowledge” of the Living Christ! God’s Glory upon us will get the world’s attention! Our union with Christ, the Head, will make us One Spirit, thus drawing all nations unto Him and to His righteous Kingdom!

It is by the manifestation of the sons of God that the nations shall be drawn to the Lord! It is by the manifestation of the sons of God that we shall be released from this death, to Live the Life of Christ in fullness! And it is also by the manifestation of the sons of God that sin and death shall be conquered for all mankind, setting the whole creation free! There is much involved with the manifestation of the sons of God, so much that we may wonder if we are equal to the task before us. But, let us understand this great truth: no person can ever be qualified, OF AND BY THEMSELVES, to be fit for the great purpose to which our Father has called us! By our own spiritual strength or resources, we could never make it! Only by the might, power and strength of the Lord can we ever be qualified to be transformed into His image and likeness, and Live as He Lives! Without His Spirit, we will never rise above the challenges and iniquities of this “life,” to reign with Christ in the Kingdom of our Father! But with Him, we can and will do ALL THINGS!

Another psalm, which we believe tells of the manifestation of the sons of God, begins like this: “O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. For thou hast been a strength TO THE POOR, a strength TO THE NEEDY IN HIS DISTRESS, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall” (Is. 25:1 & 4). Who are those who may expect to be delivered and transformed to become manifest sons of God? They are not the rich and the powerful of the church system, nor are they the teachers of the wisdom of this world. They are not necessarily those who may have great knowledge of the scriptures, or who may have all their doctrines in order! Rather, they are the poor and the needy! They shall be blessed of the Lord!

The psalmist tells us that God is a strength to the poor and to the needy in his distress. Hear what Jesus had to say about the humble and the poor: “Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous-- with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the poor in spirit (the humble, who rate themselves insignificant), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!” (Mt. 5:3, AMP). Are you poor in spirit and humble? Do you often feel as if you are insignificant in the Kingdom of God? If so, according to this translation of that scripture, you are among those elect who shall experience the appearing of Christ, which will transform you into His glorious image and heavenly likeness! This is all God asks of us: to be humble, needy, poor in spirit and be led by His Spirit! Nothing more than this is required of us and nothing less will do!

Another prophetic Word tells us this: “THUS SAYS the Lord: Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. What kind of house would you build for Me? And what kind can be My resting-place? [Acts 17:24.] For all these things My hand has made, and so all these things have come into being [by and for Me], says the Lord. But this is the man to whom I will look and have regard: he who is humble and of a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at My word and reveres My commands. [John 4:24.]” (Is. 66:1-2, AMP).

The Lord has a “House” to dwell in here on earth! It is not made of wood or stone, nor is it a house made by the hands of man! The Lord’s House includes those who are living for Him and serving Him, doing His perfect will in the earth! His dwelling place is among those that are “humble and of a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at My word and reveres My commands.” “These are they,” who are of a humble and broken spirit, and who revere His commands and His Word; they are the true House of the Lord! The Lord has taken up His abode within them, to change them into His image and likeness and Live in them forever!

We would like to share the following letter from Truman and Maxine Stanley of Texas: “It seems the Spirit is continually giving more light concerning the world to come. He is revealing more and more of that which was, and that which is, and that which is to come. It is sometimes like having a ringside seat, and just watching our Father unfolding and making us ready for the change that is coming. My wife and I are nearing 81 years, and sometimes I think we are being prepared for the new body (Rom. 8:23). We are of ourselves doing nothing. All our labors are past; we have already entered into His rest (Heb. 4:6). I feel like He is putting the finishing touches on us, like attitudes, a touch-up here and there, becoming the image and likeness of His precious Son. So when we see Him as He is, we will be as He is; He is that hope in Rom. 8:23.
We came to the place where we didn’t know how to pray as we used to pray and have now learned to pray, in every situation, by the Spirit, “not my will but thine be done.” The Spirit has shown me in Gen. 6:5 the condition of all mankind, and pointed out this part of the verse, “every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Then He began to point out in every part of the entertainment field, everything the mind can imagine is evil, the financial realm and political, the schemes that can be imagined are evil continually. “As it was in the days of Noah, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage.” Now the imagination of man is trying to stop that. What the Spirit was showing me was the cup is about full, the new heavens and earth is close. It is time to deliver man from this corruptible state of being. This whole, old creation is groaning in this corrupted state, groaning and waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God, (which is) complete - perfect - full deliverance. The life we live in this flesh we live by His faith.” And we say Amen to that!
