Part One
September 2006

One of the most important truths we have learned is that our Father and our God is the Author and the Finisher of all that is and all that takes place! This is especially true in these days of the beginning of the wonderful age of the Kingdom of God here on Earth. Nothing, whether positive or negative, ever takes place in this world and during this strange time of transition without our Father planning it and also authorizing it! He is indeed the King and the Lord of all! As we get further into this subject, we will see that the Spirit of Wisdom, which is one of the seven Spirits of the Lord, is surely needed in our lives, to help us reign with Christ!

For example, the Spirit of Wisdom will help us understand the use of the word “earth” in the Bible. First, there is the natural earth, which includes the soils of this world. Then, there is the earth, or these bodies, which are made from the dust of this earth. Most all the scriptures about the earth can apply to either ourselves, including our own bodies, or the world, including the natural earth all around us. Both our own earth, or our bodies, and the earth of this world, will be made new! There will be a new Earth, or a new literal world to come, as we have already shown, and there will also be a new earth, or a new body, for each one of us! And unless we are focused on self alone, we can readily see that God will change our earth, so the greater Earth all around us may also be changed!

Wisdom, and What or Who SHE IS
The Apostle Paul prayed that our Father would give us “the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come” (Eph. 1:17-21).

When this prayer is fully answered by our Father in each one of our lives, we will then possess His wisdom, knowledge and understanding, to know Him, as well as His power, His glory, His Resurrection Life, along with the blessed truth that He is exalted over all other principalities, powers, mights, dominions, and every other name that is named, “not only in this world, but also in that (world) which is to come!” The Wisdom of God is now being imparted to each of Father’s sons! We are learning more about our blessed Lord, and also more about His all-inclusive Kingdom of Love! And while we continue to grow spiritually, learning more about Him and His Kingdom, we are also receiving more of that precious gift, called WISDOM, which we believe is the feminine, spiritual companion to the masculine Spirit within us.

Wisdom is defined as “the quality of being wise; the body of knowledge and experience within a specified society or period.” Thus, the wisdom of God for us is that body of knowledge that pertains to the elect sons of God, who are called of their Father to experience the fullness of Christ, which is the manifestation of the sons of God. To understand Wisdom more completely, we read this from a few verses of scripture: “The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother” (Pro. 1:1-8).

The Wisdom of God is given and is available for the masculine company of the sons of God, who also are the elect of the Lord. They are described as being masculine to indicate their spiritual maturity, and has nothing to do with their physical gender. No one else could “hear” this anointed Word, for no one else has been prepared of their Father to “Hear,” “Receive” and “Do” all that this anointed Word of Wisdom tells us for this new Kingdom Day! Any one else would only despise such Divine Wisdom and Spiritual Instruction! The elect sons of God are referred to here as “the young man,” as “a wise man,” as “a man of understanding,” and as “my son.” We all know that God is our Father! But do we also know that Wisdom is referred to as a “SHE,” and is considered to be a mother, spiritually speaking? And we also know that, as sons of our spiritual Father and Mother, we should hear all they have to say to us, which are Words of pure Wisdom!

The New Jerusalem, heavenly realm of Spirit is referred to as “the mother of us all” (Gal. 4:26). But spiritual Wisdom, or the wisdom of God, is also a mother, in the sense that SHE guides, teaches and instructs us with the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of the Lord, that we might be led in the way of righteousness. Let us therefore consider that Wisdom is one of our spiritual mothers, and that SHE, Wisdom, is disciplining us and teaching us, helping us to grow as we walk this spiritual pathway to the fullness of Christ!

We were once young men spiritually speaking! But we are becoming wise “men,” and “men of understanding,” mature enough to be called by our Father, “MY SON,” if we will hear the instruction of our Father, and will not forsake the law of our Mother. The instruction of our Father includes anything God would say to us, by the Spirit, which will help us “to understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.” In other words, we are hearing “the instruction of our Father,” which includes our Father’s Word spoken to our inner man of spirit to guide us to that perfect Day. But what is the law of our Mother? Is it not “to know Wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; To receive the instruction of Wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity?” The “law of our Mother” includes the spiritual ability to know and understand that “the fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge!” The “law of our Mother” also includes anything else Wisdom would teach us as we travel along this spiritual pathway to sonship fulfilled! We are traveling on a journey through this world; we are on a spiritual journey from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity in Christ! And we are traveling with hope, faith and trust in the Lord! We may have shared this with you before, but we like this saying, “to travel with hope is as important as arriving!” And indeed it is, for what would we do in this time of gross, spiritual darkness, were it not for the HOPE we have in Christ? If we are not traveling through this world with that hope, we are missing some very important and significant truths, lessons and blessings in our lives!

Wisdom, one of our spiritual “mothers,” also says to us, “My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent. [Ps 1:1; Eph 5:11.] If they say, Come with us; let us lie in wait [to shed] blood, let us ambush the innocent without cause [and show that his piety is in vain]; Let us swallow them up alive as does Sheol (the place of the dead), and whole, as those who go down into the pit [of the dead]; We shall find and take all kinds of precious goods [when our victims are put out of the way], we shall fill our houses with plunder; Throw in your lot with us [they insist] and be a sworn brother and comrade; let us all have one purse in common-- MY SON, do not walk in the way with them; restrain your foot from their path” (Pro. 1:10-15, AMP). This passage begins with “My son,” and ends with a word of instruction, also for “My son!”

There are those elect sons of God today to whom Wisdom would say, “My son, do not walk in the way with them; restrain your foot from their path!” We cannot walk with some of them any longer for they have perverted their way before the Lord. So Wisdom tells us to restrain our feet from their path, and continue walking the narrow pathway, which leads to the Resurrection Life of Christ! Also, these words of Wisdom regarding those who lie in wait to shed blood and who would also ambush the innocent, sound very much like the corrupt, Babylonish systems of this world at this particular time of transition! It all sounds very much like the world of the present, which has as its sole purpose to ambush the innocent, destroy the faith of the elect, causing them to stumble and fall! But, thank God, there is HOPE! And the Hope and Faith we have tells us that God has other plans for His people and also for this world! It is His declared purpose to establish the world to come, with Christ and His chosen sons reigning over it all! And this Good News is the Word of God that is available to all those sons of God who are now receiving Wisdom’s Truth!

Mother-wisdom, continues by saying, “But [when these men set a trap for others] they are lying in wait for their own blood; they set an ambush for their own lives. So are the ways of everyone who is greedy of gain; such [greed for plunder] takes away the lives of its possessors. [Prov 15:27; 1 Tim 6:10.] Wisdom cries aloud in the street, she raises her voice in the markets; She cries at the head of the noisy intersections [in the chief gathering places]; at the entrance of the city gates she speaks” (Pro. 1:18-21, AMP). We may wonder what all this symbolism means.

For example, when it says “Wisdom cries aloud in the street, SHE raises her voice in the markets; SHE cries at the head of the noisy intersections [in the chief gathering places]; at the entrance of the city gates SHE speaks,” we believe it refers to the Spirit of Wisdom “speaking,” by the Spirit, to the spirit of the sons of God wherever they may be. If we are walking along the street, we have the assurance that, “Wisdom cries aloud in the street,” to speak to our spirits. If we are shopping somewhere in a market, we will also know that “SHE raises her voice in the markets.” And if we are at a busy and noisy intersection, at a chief gathering place, or at the entrance of the city, we will discover also that “SHE cries at the head of the noisy intersections [in the chief gathering places]; (and) at the entrance of the city gates SHE speaks” to us wherever we are, and She does so in the Spirit and by the Spirit!

In other words, Wisdom, as a mother and a teacher to us, may speak to us, by the Spirit, at any time and at any place, giving us a Word of Wisdom in due season to our inner man of spirit. And HER Voice cannot be stilled or silenced! There is only one place where Wisdom may be spoken and heard, and that is within the hearts and minds of those elect sons of God, whom their Father can truthfully refer to as, “MY SON!” Wisdom is not a stranger to us; she is our friend! She is referred to as a feminine Spirit, which is a part of the sovereign and omnipotent Spirit of Almighty God! We will Hear and Receive all SHE says to us, for “Whoso hearkens to me [Wisdom] shall dwell securely and in confident trust and shall be quiet, without fear or dread of evil” (Pro. 1:33, AMP).

We believe wisdom is described as being feminine in scripture to indicate that “she” is a companion to the “HE,” which is the masculine Spirit of God. And when we are fully matured, both our spiritual “parents,” or our Father-God, and mother-Wisdom, will be within us in fullness! When He determined to take Eve out of Adam, the Lord said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him” (Gen. 2:18). The term, “help meet” means an aid, an opposite part, or a counterpart. And that is what Eve was to Adam! She was Adam’s counterpart! Just as the Lord created Eve, the woman, to be an “help meet” for Adam, or his counterpart, aid or companion, so has the Lord designated the wonderful feminine spirit, called “Wisdom,” to be His counterpart, His aid, and His companion, along with the Spirit of our Father, which are parts of the seven Spirits of God. And we also know that those seven Spirits shall be within us in fullness!

WISDOM, therefore, is a necessary, spiritual companion for us! She is our spiritual aid and a companion to the masculine Spirit of our Father, which is also within us! Without the WISDOM of God, we are devoid of one of the most necessary attributes or characteristics of the Lord our God! But we need not be lacking in Wisdom! God’s word has gone forth, saying to all of us, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him” (James 1:5). There is a wisdom that is of this world, and there also is the Wisdom of God. By this, we will know the wisdom of God: “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy” (James 3:17).

The Spirit of Wisdom from God is one of the seven Spirits of the Lord. The Spirit of Wisdom, together with the other six Spirits of the Lord, are to be given to us by the Lord, making us perfect and complete, when we are transformed into His Heavenly image and Holy likeness. Thus, we read, “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse (which is Christ), and a Branch shall grow out of his roots (which are the sons of God, or the Body of Christ): And the spirit of the LORD (1) shall rest upon him, the spirit of WISDOM (2) and understanding (3), the spirit of counsel (4) and might (5), the spirit of knowledge (6) and of the fear of the LORD (7)” (Is. 11:1-2). This is a description of the Christ-man, the elect sons of God, or the Body of Christ, which we are! After the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of wisdom is perhaps the greatest and most important of the seven Spirits of God, with which we shall be anointed! Then, we will have the Wisdom of God, enabling us to manifest or show forth the fullness of the mind of Christ to all mankind! When we have come forth in the image and likeness of Christ, we shall be anointed as He is with the seven Spirits of God, including the Spirit of Wisdom, becoming all that He is.

Our good friend, Archie Ross, sent us the following, which begins with a quote from Proverbs chapter eight, verses twenty-two to thirty-one: “The Lord formed me (Wisdom) from the beginning, before HE created anything else. I was appointed in ages past, at the very first, before the earth began. I was born before the oceans were created, before the springs bubbled forth their waters. Before the mountains and the hills were formed, I was formed. I was born – before He had made the earth and fields and the first handfulls of soil. I was there when He established the heavens, when He drew the horizon on the oceans. I was there when He set the clouds above, when He established the deep fountains of the earth. I was there when He set the limits of the seas, so they would not spread beyond their boundaries. And when HE MARKED OFF THE EARTH’S FOUNDATIONS, I WAS THE ARCHITECT AT HIS SIDE. I was His constant delight, rejoicing always in His presence. And how happy I was with what HE CREATED: His wide world and all the human family!”

Then Bro. Ross also added this comment: “I am most interested in what WISDOM is and what WISDOM was and forever shall be! Oh, what a promise, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him” (James 1:5). “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” (Pro. 4:7). Speaking of the universe – some of the scientists tell us that we should talk about UNIVERSES!!! Ah! How little we know about THE GREATNESS OF GOD! When I look at a distant star, what can I say but “How I wonder what you are!” When we are filled with HIS WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING we will know and understand it all!” (End of Quote.) And we say AMEN to that!

Proverbs chapter eight, which is quoted above, tells us the Lord formed Wisdom before He created anything else. Wisdom was in the beginning with God before anything else was created. The verses we quoted tell us that Wisdom also had a part in the creation of the world, saying that SHE was “the architect at His side.” And I believe also that Wisdom, the feminine, spiritual companion to our Father-God, had a part in the creation of mankind! In other words, SHE, WISDOM, is one of our spiritual mothers, while God is our spiritual Father. This is a great mystery, even a part of “the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Col. 2:2-3). And we believe this “mystery” will be established as Scriptural Truth!

To show that Wisdom, our Mother, had a part in the work of creation, we read these truths: “O LORD, how manifold are thy works! IN WISDOM hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches” (Ps. 104:24). And again, “To him that BY WISDOM made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever” (Ps. 136:5). The original word, translated “wisdom” in this last passage, means feminine intelligence. It is the feminine Spirit of Wisdom, which may be one of our spiritual Mothers. Another way of saying the same thing is, God, our Father and the Father of all, created all things by Wisdom, or along with Wisdom, which is His spiritual companion. Jesus also indicated that wisdom is a mother, when He said, “But wisdom is justified of all her children” (Luke 7:35). In the context of this verse, Jesus was speaking of worldly wisdom, the wisdom of man. But if man’s wisdom is as a “mother,” is it not highly likely that spiritual Wisdom could be as a “mother” to us as well? Again, the Word of the Lord has declared: “The LORD BY WISDOM hath founded the earth” (Pro. 3:19). May the Spirit of the Lord reveal the Truth of it to us, as only He can!

Let us read the following verse of Scripture, with the understanding that Wisdom is as a mother to us: “Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee” (Song 8:5). In the natural, this passage makes no sense whatsoever! But, by the Spirit, when we apply the understanding that Wisdom is as a Mother of our fore-parents, Adam and Eve, then it makes good sense. When the Spirit of Wisdom is applied to this passage, we can then understand what the holy Spirit is saying here!

Adam and Eve were created or brought forth in the Garden of Eden. And it was also in the Garden of Eden, specifically “under the apple tree,” where their “mother brought thee (them) forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee!” It was “under the apple tree,” or under a fruit tree in Eden, where both of them were brought forth, trained in the ways of the Lord, and learned obedience to God! Thus, the Genesis account states: “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of THE FRUIT THEREOF, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons” (Gen. 3:6-7). There is no indication that the forbidden fruit of that tree was an apple. But when we correlate the two scriptures, Song 8:5 with this verse in Genesis, it then becomes highly likely that the fruit which Eve picked in the Garden of Eden was an apple.

Eve saw that the fruit of the tree in the midst of the Garden “was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise,” so she ate of that forbidden fruit. She was overcome with “the lust of the eyes” and “the pride of life,” and was disciplined for it! When Adam and Eve partook of that forbidden fruit, they “saw” that they were naked, for their sin of disobedience resulted in the loss of the Heavenly garments with which God had clothed them. No longer were they covered or clothed in glorious garments of Light and Life! Their sin had corrupted them and God could no longer leave them clothed with His heavenly garments of Life and Glory! So God stripped them of the Heavenly Garments of Glory and Life that covered them, leaving them naked! Then they saw their nakedness and clothed themselves with fig leaves, representing that which is natural, earthly, carnal and of the flesh! And man has been in that same carnal, fleshly condition ever since! But, blessed be the Name of the Lord, God will not leave us in this “naked” condition much longer! He has a plan, which is soon to be consummated in victory, to deliver man from this spiritually naked condition and clothe us with those Royal, Heavenly garments of the Life, the Light, and the Glory of CHRIST! And then, when we have been clothed upon with those royal Garments of His glorious image and likeness, we shall reign with Him over all, in all the universes!

Adam and Eve learned that to disobey their Father in Heaven is a “sin” to be punished by banishment from the Presence of the Lord and the removal of the Heavenly garments with which God had clothed them. And when they lost their Heavenly garments, they subjected the entire human race to the same fate! But this is not the end of the story! Father has a plan that is now in its final stages! Before long, we shall come forth wearing those precious and heavenly, Kingly Garments, for we shall be clothed upon with the Life, Light and Glory of Christ (2 Cor. 5:1-4)!

Man’s learning and growth experiences are described in the chapter of the Song of Solomon, which we quoted in part above. Our fore-parents, Adam and Eve, were trained and learned obedience in the Garden of Eden, under the fruit tree in the midst of the Garden, which the Wisdom of Solomon called, “the apple tree!” There, under that “apple tree,” “thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee.” It was also there where their Father-God and their Mother-Wisdom, “raised thee up under the apple tree.” Or, where Adam and Eve were trained, disciplined and taught the ways of the Lord, by their spiritual parents. The discipline, punishment and training that Adam and Eve experienced in the Garden, are what we too are experiencing in our journey through this “life!” We are also learning obedience, just like Jesus did, Who, “though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered” (Heb. 5:8). Although we are now going through some intense training and discipline, we have since realized the folly of going our own way and have repented before the Lord! We have cried out to our Father, with all that is within us, saying, “Do with me what you will! My only desire is to do your will and be changed into your glorious image and heavenly likeness!”

Of course, God already knew what Adam and Eve had done, so He “cursed” them and the whole creation along with them (see Gen. 3:7-19). There is also every indication that God planned all of this in the beginning! According to the Truth of the Scriptures, the creation had no choice in the matter! The whole creation, including all mankind, is constantly and continually subjected to THE WILL OF GOD! That the Adamic curse was passed on to the whole creation also was the will of God! Thus, it is written, “For the creation (nature) was subjected to frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but BY THE WILL OF HIM (GOD) Who so subjected it--[yet] with the hope [Eccl 1:2.]” (Rom. 8:20, AMP). The whole creation was subjected to the confusion and frustration of Adam’s “fallen” condition BY THE WILL OF GOD, and not because of any person’s (either Adam’s or Eve’s) sin or disobedience!

When we once learn the great Truth that it was God’s will that plunged the entire creation, and all mankind with it, into this cursed condition of sin and death, WE WILL HAVE LEARNED A GREAT TRUTH INDEED! But if we attempt to understand all this with our carnal minds, we will surely come to futility and frustration! And then, to learn and understand that God, in His infinite Wisdom and Foreknowledge, also set forth a Plan whereby all mankind and the whole creation shall be delivered from the curse and raised into the glorious Liberty of the sons of God, IS AN EVEN GREATER TRUTH! Obviously it was God’s will that Adam and Eve’s condition should be passed on to all mankind and the whole creation! And it is also God’s will that all mankind and the whole creation should be delivered from that condition and saved in fullness (1 Cor. 15:22)! It is all a part of the Divine Master Plan to gather all things into God, that God may be all in all! And the next part of that sovereign and omnipotent, Divine Master Plan is to bring forth His elect in the image and likeness of Christ!

We have said it before and we will say it again. These are tough times! Not only has the glorious Light of Christ been withdrawn in a measure from the world during these times, leaving the world in gross darkness, but it is also the time of our “tribulation” (Acts 14:22). We are being tested and tried like we never have been before! And there is a reason for this! We believe we are living in those very strange yet wonderful times when our loving and merciful Father is bringing us to judgment, that He might correct us and transform us (Rev. 7:13-17)! He is correcting us and processing us, preparing us to meet our Beloved when He appears! When we see Christ as He is, we shall then be joined to Him, Who is our Head, in a glorious union, making one complete Christ-man of the Spirit, which is the fully transformed and completed Body of Christ! That glorious UNION will come with the manifestation of the sons of God, which will release the creation from its many bondages and set every captive free! And this union, this joining together, this marriage, if you will, is already foretold in poetic form in the wonderful account given in the Song of Solomon!

The entire book presents a beautiful picture of a courting relationship between two people. By the Spirit of Wisdom, we can see some wonderful pictures or illustrations of the joining of two lovers. There are at least two unions yet to take place in the Kingdom purposes of our Father! Both unions should concern us now, for we shall have a vital part in both! The first union will be between Christ the Head, and Christ the Body, which Body is comprised of the elect sons of God, which we are! The second union will be between the completed Christ Body (which is us), that was formed in the first union, and Christ the Bride, which may include all those Christians now in the church system. The church system is ill prepared now for that glorious union to come! But they will most certainly be prepared of the Spirit for that union, by being cleansed of all their iniquities, and of their corrupt and unholy affiliation with the Babylonish systems of man, and of all their many false doctrines, by the fiery purgings of the Spirit of the Lord! And that union will bring forth one complete CHRIST!

As it is now, we are the Body of Christ, but it is a Body without the Head! Christ the Head must therefore be joined to Christ the Body! And this is the union that will take place first. Then, when Christ the Son company is complete, He/we shall be joined to Christ the Bride! As Adam was formed first, so the masculine Body of Christ is being formed first! Then the Bride company will be formed and cleansed, so she can be joined to the masculine Christ-man! And that second union will make one complete Christ, or the fullness of Christ, with both spiritual male and female capabilities, which will enable spiritual sons and daughters to come forth from the One entity! And come forth they will, for then ENTIRE NATIONS SHALL COME TO THE LORD BY THE MULTITUDES, to love and worship Him as their Savior, their Lord, their King and their Beloved (see Is. 2:2, 5:26, 55:5)!

And these two spiritual unions are depicted in the beautifully written book, called the Song of Solomon! The entire book is relevant, and we will deal with as much of it as the Spirit reveals. In chapter one, we get a glimpse of the King in His beauty, so we ask Him to “Draw me, we will run after thee” (Song. 1:4). It is our true, spiritual desire to be drawn closer to the Lord. Even though we may be plagued with this sinful, Adamic mind and nature, the cry of the spirit within is to be one with Christ! We also realized our uncleanness, so we told Him, “Look not upon me” (Song. 1:6). But despite our “black” and “swarthy” appearance, due to old Adam’s lingering influence, a love relationship with our Lord and King has developed. We know He loves us, so we love Him because He first loved us! Then our Beloved said to us: “I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters. As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste. He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love” (Song 2:1-4).

Our blessed King saw us as “the lily among thorns,” and we saw Him as “the apple tree among the trees of the wood.” As the lily or the rose appears more brightly among the thorns than any other flower, so we shine when our Beloved looks our way. And as the apple tree is better and of more value than many other trees in the woods, so we see our King and Lord as the Chief Beloved and as the Best among all the other sons! Our beloved King also saw our hunger and deep desire, so He brought us to His banqueting House, where we could partake of new, spiritual food, which is the enriched food of the Kingdom of our Father. As we continued to partake of Him, we soon realized that His spiritual food was working within us to make us into His glorious image and heavenly likeness. We now know that we are growing spiritually, line upon line and from glory to glory, to become all that He is!

In our former immaturity, we thought our spiritual growth was slow and possibly delaying the purposes of our Father. But then we grew spiritually to understand that Father’s time is never late or slow, nor is He ever ahead of “His Time.” He Who is “the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys,” then said to us, “I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, TILL HE PLEASE” (Song 2:7). We soon learned that everything in His Kingdom functions and progresses according to “His time,” not ours! So we repented, adapted, and set our “clocks” according to “His Time!”
Moreover, in those days of our former immaturity, we thought we knew just about exactly when our Beloved would appear to transform us. We had those “doctrines of man,” that detailed all His comings and goings like clockwork. We had it all figured out! But then, we discovered that His comings are frequent and sometimes individual and personal. We then realized that His comings are difficult to figure out with the carnal mind, and are more like this: “behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills. My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice” (Song 2:8-9). And there went all our doctrines about His coming! In our confusion, our Beloved then said to us, “Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away” (Song 2:10-13).

By this beautiful, prophetic Word, we thought surely His coming to reign as King over all was at hand! However, this was but one of those seasons when Christ appeared to His own to do a glorious work among them. The major appearing of Christ, the one that would finally transform us, was still to come. We were still in Adam’s image, and we knew another appearing was needed to change us. But we remained in that spiritual “arisen” state, knowing that we needed to continue “watching and waiting” for Him!

And when our Beloved King and Lord beckoned us to come away to Him, saying, “Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away,” we obeyed and went “away” to where He was. “[So I went with him, and when we were climbing the rocky steps up the hillside, my beloved shepherd said to me] O my dove, [while you are here] in the seclusion of the clefts in the solid rock, in the sheltered and secret place of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely” (Song. 2:14, AMP). We then saw a strange thing indeed! Our beloved Lord, King and Lover withdrew Himself from the crowds in the church system and from the world in general and hid Himself “in the seclusion of the clefts in the solid rock, in the sheltered and secret place of the cliff.” When He withdrew His Presence from the churches and the world in a measure, the Light that He is was also dimmed, resulting in gross darkness, both in the world in general and in the hearts of all the people (Is. 60:1-2).

So we followed Him and climbed “the rocky steps up the hillside”
to be where HE IS! And remember, He is not among the wayward “Christians” in the church system, but our blessed King and Lord is now “in the (spiritual) seclusion of the clefts in the solid rock, in the sheltered and secret place of the cliff.” So, to be with Him, where He is, we had to leave our friends in the church system and those in the “meeting” realm to climb those “rocky steps up the hillside.” It was not easy getting here, but we became fully aware and grew to understand that sacrifice is needed if we are to become kings and priests in the Kingdom of our Father! So we made that sacrifice, and are now willing to make a few more! After climbing those “rocky steps up the hillside,” to be where HE IS, we then realized that it is here, “in the (spiritual) seclusion of the clefts in the solid rock, in the sheltered and secret place of the cliff,” where our Lord and King will cleanse and purify us. Here, in this secret, sheltered and secluded cleft of the rock, He will prepare us for His more glorious appearing! Here, we shall be fully and completely cleansed of all those “little foxes” that trouble us.

Knowing this, we then sang to Him this song of surrender, asking for His help: “[My heart was touched and I fervently sang to him my desire] Take for us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vineyards [of our love], for our vineyards are in blossom” (Song 2:15, AMP). If there is any one thing we desire, it is that God would remove from us all those “little foxes” that spoil the vineyard, which we are! We want to see His face and hear His voice, but we know we are not yet ready to partake of such Glory! And we have matured enough so we can see that those “little foxes” are spoiling the vineyards of our love! We have successfully held old Adam in check all these years, but now we realize there are those “little foxes” that still come between us and the Lord of Glory! Therefore, they must go! And we are wise enough to know that He is the only One Who can remove them! She, Wisdom, has been our teacher, and we expect to learn much more from Her!

As our Lord captures those “little foxes” while we are hidden away with Him “in the seclusion of the clefts in the solid rock, in the sheltered and secret place of the cliff,” we readily acknowledge that “My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth (His flock) among the lilies. Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.” Bether is that which divides and separates us from God (Song 2:16-17). Soon, this long night of gross darkness shall end, the morning of this new Day shall break, the shadows shall flee away, and our beloved King and Lord will appear to transform us into His glorious image and heavenly likeness! Then, we shall be clothed upon with His royal likeness, and with those Heavenly Garments of the Life and Light of Christ! Then the mountains of Bether, or that which divides and separates us from God, shall be no more! Then, He Who is the rose of Sharon and the bright and morning Star, shall be gloriously displayed and manifested in His chosen sons, for all the world to see! And then, we shall indeed shine as the Sun in the Kingdom of our Father!

We quoted Proverbs chapter four, verse seven earlier. Verses eight to thirteen of that same chapter, reveal to us the path of LIFE! Remembering that Wisdom is as a mother and a teacher to us, we read these truths: “PRIZE WISDOM HIGHLY AND EXALT HER, and SHE will exalt and promote you; SHE will bring you to honor when you embrace Her. SHE shall give to your head a wreath of gracefulness; a crown of beauty and glory will SHE deliver to you. Hear, O MY SON, and receive my sayings, and the years of your life shall be many. I have taught you in the way of skillful and godly Wisdom [which is comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God]; I have led you in paths of uprightness. When you walk, your steps shall not be hampered [your path will be clear and open]; and when you run, you shall not stumble. Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; guard her, FOR SHE IS YOUR LIFE” (Pro. 4:8-13, AMP). Isn’t that just like a mother?

If this corrupt and evil old world needs one thing, it is the Christ LIFE! And that Life will not come from man’s governments, the wayward church system, or from her “prophets!” That LIFE can only come forth from those King-Priests in the Kingdom of God, who have been called, chosen and ordained of their Father to minister that LIFE to the whole creation! Then , there will be a new heaven and a new earth, where the Righteousness of Christ shall be fully manifest and displayed for all to behold! But first we must receive that LIFE before we can give it to others! Therefore, we will prize the Wisdom of God highly for SHE IS OUR LIFE!
